1 وَمَتَى بَلَغْتُمُ الأَرْضَ الَّتِي يَهَبُهَا الرَّبُّ إِلَهُكُمْ لَكُمْ مِيرَاثاً وَامْتَلَكْتُمُوهَا وَاسْتَوْطَنْتُمْ فِيهَا، 2 فَاجْمَعُوا مِنْ أَوَّلِ كُلِّ ثَمَرٍ تُغِلُّهُ أَرْضُكُمُ الَّتِي يَهَبُهَا الرَّبُّ إِلَهُكُمْ لَكُمْ، وَضَعُوهُ فِي سِلالٍ، وَامْضُوا إِلَى الْمَوْضِعِ الَّذِي يَخْتَارُهُ الرَّبُّ إِلَهُكُمْ لِيُحِلَّ فِيهِ اسْمَهُ. 3 وَيَأْتِي صَاحِبُ التَّقْدِمَةِ إِلَى الْكَاهِنِ الْمُعَيَّنِ وَيَقُولُ: أَعْتَرِفُ الْيَوْمَ لِلرَّبِّ إِلَهِكَ أَنِّي قَدْ جِئْتُ إِلَى الأَرْضِ الَّتِي حَلَفَ الرَّبُّ لِآبَائِنَا أَنْ يَهَبَهَا لَنَا. 4 فَيَتَنَاوَلُ الْكَاهِنُ السَّلَّةَ مِنْ يَدِهِ وَيَضَعُهَا أَمَامَ مَذْبَحِ الرَّبِّ إِلَهِكُمْ، 5 ثُمَّ يُعْلِنُ صَاحِبُ التَّقْدِمَةِ قَائِلاً أَمَامَ الرَّبِّ إِلَهِكُمْ: كَانَ أَبِي أَرَامِيًّا تَائِهاً، ثُمَّ انْحَدَرَ إِلَى مِصْرَ وَتَغَرَّبَ هُنَاكَ، وَمَعَهُ نَفَرٌ قَلِيلٌ. وَلَكِنَّهُ أَصْبَحَ هُنَاكَ أُمَّةً كَبِيرَةً عَظِيمَةً. 6 فَأَسَاءَ إِلَيْنَا الْمِصْرِيُّونَ وَأَرْهَقُونَا وَقَسَوْا عَلَيْنَا فِي اسْتِعْبَادِهِمْ، 7 فَصَرَخْنَا إِلَى الرَّبِّ إِلَهِ آبَائِنَا، فَاسْتَجَابَ لَنَا وَرَأَى بُؤْسَنَا وَتَعَبَنَا وَضِيقَنَا، 8 فَأَخْرَجَنَا مِنْ دِيَارِ مِصْرَ بِقُوَّةٍ شَدِيدَةٍ وَقُدْرَةٍ فَائِقَةٍ، وَوَيْلاتٍ عَظِيمَةٍ وَآيَاتٍ وَعَجَائِبَ، 9 وَأَدْخَلَنَا إِلَى هَذَا الْمَكَانِ، وَوَهَبَنَا هَذِهِ الأَرْضَ الَّتِي تَفِيضُ لَبَناً وَعَسَلاً. 10 فَهَا أَنَا الآنَ قَدْ أَتَيْتُ بِأَوَّلِ ثَمَرِ الأَرْضِ الَّتِي وَهَبْتَنِي يَا رَبُّ ثُمَّ يَضَعُهُ أَمَامَ الرَّبِّ إِلَهِكُمْ وَيَسْجُدُ فِي حَضْرَتِهِ، 11 وَيَحْتَفِلُ بِجَمِيعِ الْخَيْرِ الَّذِي أَنْعَمَ بِهِ الرَّبُّ إِلَهُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَى أَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ، هُوَ وَاللّاوِيُّ وَالْغَرِيبُ الْمُقِيمُ بَيْنَكُمْ. 12 وَمَتَى انْتَهَيْتَ مِنْ تَقْدِيمِ كُلِّ عُشُورِ غَلّاتِكَ فِي السَّنَةِ الثَّالِثَةِ، سَنَةِ الْعُشُورِ، وَأَعْطَيْتَ اللّاوِيَّ وَالْغَرِيبَ وَالْيَتِيمَ وَالأَرْمَلَةَ فَأَكَلُوا فِي مَدِينَتِكَ وَشَبِعُوا، 13 تَقُولُ فِي حَضْرَةِ الرَّبِّ إِلَهِكَ: قَدْ افْرَزْتُ مِنْ بَيْتِي الْعُشُورَ الْمُقَدَّسَةَ وَأَعْطَيْتُهَا لِلّاوِيِّ وَالْغَرِيبِ وَالْيَتِيمِ وَالأَرْمَلَةِ، طَاعَةً لِوَصِيَّتِكَ الَّتِي أَمَرْتَنِي بِها، فَلَمْ أَتَجَاوَزْ وَصَايَاكَ وَلا نَسِيتُهَا. 14 لَمْ أَتَنَاوَلْ مِنْهُ فِي أَثْنَاءِ حُزْنِي، وَلَمْ آخُذْ مِنْهُ وَأَنَا فِي حَالَةِ نَجَاسَةٍ، وَلا أَعْطَيْتُ مِنْهُ لأَجْلِ مَيْتٍ. بَلْ أَطَعْتُ صَوْتَ إِلَهِي وَعَمِلْتُ بِمْوُجِبِ كُلِّ مَا أَوْصَيْتَنِي بِهِ. 15 أَشْرِفْ يَا رَبُّ مِنْ مَسْكَنِكَ الْمُقَدَّسِ فِي السَّمَاءِ، وَبَارِكْ شَعْبَكَ إِسْرَائِيلَ، وَالأَرْضَ الَّتِي تَفِيضُ لَبَناً وَعَسَلاً، الَّتِي وَهَبْتَهَا لَنَا كَمَا حَلَفْتَ لِآبَائِنَا.

اتباع وصايا الرب

16 لَقَدْ أَمَرَكُمُ الرَّبُّ إِلَهُكُمْ فِي هَذَا الْيَوْمِ أَنْ تُمَارِسُوا هَذِهِ الْفَرَائِضَ وَالأَحْكَامَ، فَأَطِيعُوا، وَاعْمَلُوا بِها مِنْ كُلِّ قُلُوبِكُمْ وَمِنْ كُلِّ نُفُوسِكُمْ، 17 فَأَنْتُمْ قَدْ أَعْلَنْتُمُ الْيَوْمَ أَنَّ الرَّبَّ إِلَهُكُمْ وَأَنَّكُمْ سَتَسْلُكُونَ فِي سُبُلِهِ وَتُطِيعُونَ فَرَائِضَهُ وَأَحْكَامَهُ وَتَسْمَعُونَ لِصَوْتِهِ 18 كَمَا أَعْلَنَ الرَّبُّ الْيَوْمَ أَنَّكُمْ تَكُونُونَ لَهُ شَعْباً خَاصّاً، حَسَبَ وَعْدِهِ لَكُمْ، وَأَنَّ عَلَيْكُمْ طَاعَةَ وَصَايَاهُ جَمِيعِهَا، 19 فَيَجْعَلَكُمْ أَسْمَى مِنْ كُلِّ الأُمَمِ الَّتِي خَلَقَهَا مِنْ حَيْثُ الثَّنَاءِ وَالشَّرَفِ وَالْمَجْدِ، وَتَكُونُوا شَعْباً مُقَدَّساً لِلرَّبِّ إِلَهِكُمْ كَمَا وَعَدَ».

Le primizie

1 «Quando sarai entrato nel paese che il Signore, il tuo Dio, ti dà come eredità e lo possederai e lo abiterai, 2 prenderai delle primizie di tutti i frutti del suolo da te raccolti nel paese che il Signore, il tuo Dio, ti dà, le metterai in un paniere e andrai al luogo che il Signore, il tuo Dio, avrà scelto come dimora del suo nome. 3 Ti presenterai al sacerdote in carica in quei giorni e gli dirai: “Io dichiaro oggi al Signore tuo Dio che sono entrato nel paese che il Signore giurò ai nostri padri di darci”. 4 Il sacerdote prenderà il paniere dalle tue mani e lo deporrà davanti all’altare del Signore tuo Dio, 5 e tu pronuncerai queste parole davanti al Signore, che è il tuo Dio: “Mio padre era un Arameo errante; scese in Egitto, vi stette come straniero con poca gente e vi diventò una nazione grande, potente e numerosa. 6 Gli Egiziani ci maltrattarono, ci oppressero e ci imposero una dura schiavitù. 7 Allora gridammo al Signore, al Dio dei nostri padri, e il Signore udì la nostra voce, vide la nostra oppressione, il nostro travaglio e la nostra afflizione, 8 e il Signore ci fece uscire dall’Egitto con potente mano e con braccio steso, con grandi e tremendi miracoli e prodigi; 9 ci ha condotti in questo luogo e ci ha dato questo paese, paese dove scorrono il latte e il miele. 10 E ora io porto le primizie dei frutti della terra che tu, o Signore, mi hai data!” Le deporrai davanti al Signore Dio tuo, e adorerai il Signore, il tuo Dio; 11 ti rallegrerai, tu con il Levita e con lo straniero che sarà in mezzo a te, di tutto il bene che il Signore, il tuo Dio, avrà dato a te e alla tua casa.

12 «Quando avrai finito di prelevare tutte le decime delle tue entrate, il terzo anno, l’anno delle decime, e le avrai date al Levita, allo straniero, all’orfano e alla vedova perché ne mangino entro le tue città e siano saziati, 13 dirai, davanti al Signore tuo Dio: “Io ho tolto dalla mia casa ciò che era consacrato e l’ho dato al Levita, allo straniero, all’orfano e alla vedova, interamente secondo gli ordini che mi hai dati; non ho trasgredito né dimenticato nessuno dei tuoi comandamenti. 14 Non ho mangiato cose consacrate durante il mio lutto; non ne ho tolto nulla quando ero impuro e non ne ho dato per un morto; ho ubbidito alla voce del Signore mio Dio, ho fatto interamente come tu mi hai comandato. 15 Volgi a noi lo sguardo dalla tua santa dimora, dal cielo, e benedici il tuo popolo, Israele, e la terra che ci hai data, come giurasti ai nostri padri, terra dove scorrono il latte e il miele”. 16 Oggi il Signore, il tuo Dio, ti comanda di mettere in pratica queste leggi e queste prescrizioni; osservale dunque, mettile in pratica con tutto il tuo cuore, con tutta l’anima tua. 17 Tu hai fatto dichiarare oggi al Signore che egli sarà il tuo Dio, purché tu cammini nelle sue vie e osservi le sue leggi, i suoi comandamenti, le sue prescrizioni, e tu ubbidisca alla sua voce. 18 Il Signore ti ha fatto oggi dichiarare che sarai un popolo che gli appartiene, come egli ti ha detto, e che osserverai tutti i suoi comandamenti, 19 affinché egli ti metta al di sopra di tutte le nazioni che ha fatte quanto a gloria, rinomanza e splendore, e tu sia un popolo consacrato al Signore tuo Dio com’egli ti ha detto».

Offerings of Firstfruits and Tithes

1 “When you come into the land that the LORD your God is giving you for an inheritance and have taken possession of it and live in it, 2 you shall take some of the first of all the fruit of the ground, which you harvest from your land that the LORD your God is giving you, and you shall put it in a basket, and you shall go to the place that the LORD your God will choose, to make his name to dwell there. I have not transgressed any of your commandments, nor have I forgotten them.
