1To the choirmaster: according to Do Not Destroy. A Psalm of Asaph. A Song. We give thanks to you, O God; we give thanks, for your name is near. We[1] recount your wondrous deeds. (مز 50:1; مز 57:1; مز 145:18)2“At the set time that I appoint I will judge with equity. (مز 17:2; مز 102:13; دا 8:19; حب 2:3)3When the earth totters, and all its inhabitants, it is I who keep steady its pillars. (1صم 2:8; إش 24:19)4I say to the boastful, ‘Do not boast,’ and to the wicked, ‘Do not lift up your horn; (مز 75:10; زك 1:21)5do not lift up your horn on high, or speak with haughty neck.’”6For not from the east or from the west and not from the wilderness comes lifting up, (مز 3:3)7but it is God who executes judgment, putting down one and lifting up another. (1صم 2:7; مز 50:6; دا 2:21)8For in the hand of the Lord there is a cup with foaming wine, well mixed, and he pours out from it, and all the wicked of the earth shall drain it down to the dregs. (أي 21:20; مز 11:6; مز 73:10; أم 23:30)9But I will declare it forever; I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.10All the horns of the wicked I will cut off, but the horns of the righteous shall be lifted up. (1صم 2:1; مز 75:4; مز 89:17; مز 112:9; إر 48:25)
