1 اسْتَمِعْ يَا اللهُ إِلَى صُرَاخِي وَأَصْغِ إِلَى صَلاتِي. 2 مِنْ أَقْصَى الأَرْضِ أَدْعُوكَ إِذَا غُشِيَ عَلَى قَلْبِي، فَتَهْدِينِي إِلَى صَخْرَةٍ عَالِيَةٍ يَتَعَذَّرُ ارْتِقَاؤُهَا. 3 لأَنَّكَ كُنْتَ لِي مَلْجَأً وَبُرْجاً مَنِيعاً يَحْمِينِي مِنَ الْعَدُوِّ. 4 لِذَا أَسْكُنُ فِي خَيْمَتِكَ إِلَى الأَبَدِ، وَأَعْتَصِمُ بِسِتْرِ جَنَاحَيْكَ، 5 لأَنَّكَ أَنْتَ يَا اللهُ قَدِ اسْتَمَعْتَ إِلَى نُذُورِي. أَعْطَيْتَنِي مِيرَاثاً كَمِيرَاثِ الَّذِينَ يَتَّقُونَ اسْمَكَ. 6 تُضِيفُ أَيَّاماً إِلَى عُمْرِ الْمَلِكِ، فَتَكُونُ سِنُو حَيَاتِهِ كَأَجْيَالٍ عَدِيدَةٍ. 7 يَبْقَى عَلَى عَرْشِهِ أَمَامَ اللهِ إِلَى الأَبَدِ. وَاجْعَلِ الرَّحْمَةَ وَالْحَقَّ يَحْفَظَانِهِ. 8 وَهَكَذَا أُرَنِّمُ لاِسْمِكَ إِلَى الأَبَدِ، وَأُوْفِي نُذُورِي دَائِماً.

1 To the choirmaster: with stringed instruments. Of David. Hear my cry, O God, listen to my prayer; (مز 4:1; مز 55:1) 2 from the end of the earth I call to you when my heart is faint. Lead me to the rock that is higher than I, (مز 18:2; مز 77:3) 3 for you have been my refuge, a strong tower against the enemy. (مز 14:6; أم 18:10) 4 Let me dwell in your tent forever! Let me take refuge under the shelter of your wings! (مز 15:1; مز 17:8; مز 27:4) 5 For you, O God, have heard my vows; you have given me the heritage of those who fear your name. 6 Prolong the life of the king; may his years endure to all generations! (مز 21:4; مز 63:11) 7 May he be enthroned forever before God; appoint steadfast love and faithfulness to watch over him! (مز 40:11) 8 So will I ever sing praises to your name, as I perform my vows day after day. (مز 50:14)
