1 الْوَاثِقُونَ بِالرَّبِّ هُمْ مِثْلُ جَبَلِ صِهْيَوْنَ الرَّاسِخِ الَّذِي لَا يَتَزَعْزَعُ إِلَى الأَبَدِ. 2 كَمَا تُحِيطُ الْجِبَالُ بِأُورُشَلِيمَ، كَذَلِكَ يُحِيطُ الرَّبُّ بِشَعْبِهِ مِنَ الآنَ وَإِلَى الأَبَدِ، 3 فَلَا يَتَسَلَّطُ الأَشْرَارُ عَلَى نَصِيبِ الأَبْرَارِ لِئَلّا يَمُدَّ الأَبْرَارُ أَيْدِيَهُمْ إِلَى الإِثْمِ. 4 أَحْسِنْ يَا رَبُّ إِلَى الأَخْيَارِ وَإِلَى ذَوِي الْقُلُوبِ الْمُسْتَقِيمَةِ. 5 أَمَّا الَّذِينَ يَحِيدُونَ إِلَى طُرُقٍ مُلْتَوِيَةٍ، فَإِنَّ الرَّبَّ يَسُوقُهُمْ إِلَى الْهَلاكِ مَعَ فَاعِلِي الإِثْمِ. لِيَكُنِ السَّلامُ لِشَعْبِ إِسْرَائِيلَ.

1 A Song of Ascents. Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides forever. (مز 25:2; مز 93:1; مز 104:5; مز 120:1; أم 10:30) 2 As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds his people, from this time forth and forevermore. (2مل 6:17; زك 2:5) 3 For the scepter of wickedness shall not rest on the land allotted to the righteous, lest the righteous stretch out their hands to do wrong. (تك 3:22; خر 22:8; مز 16:5; إش 14:5; إش 30:30) 4 Do good, O Lord, to those who are good, and to those who are upright in their hearts!
