1Weiter sagte der HERR zu Mose folgendes:2»Wisse wohl: ich habe Bezaleel, den Sohn Uris, den Enkel Hurs, aus dem Stamme Juda, namentlich[1] berufen3und ihn mit göttlichem Geist erfüllt, mit Kunstsinn und Einsicht, mit Verstand und allerlei Fertigkeiten,4um Kunstwerke zu ersinnen, Arbeiten in Gold, in Silber und in Kupfer auszuführen,5Edelsteine zu schneiden, um Kunstwerke damit zu besetzen, Holz zu schnitzen, kurz Werke jeder Art kunstvoll auszuführen.6Zugleich habe ich ihm Oholiab, den Sohn Ahisamachs, aus dem Stamme Dan, beigegeben und allen Kunstverständigen die erforderliche Begabung verliehen, damit sie alles, was ich dir geboten habe, herstellen,7nämlich das Offenbarungszelt und die Gesetzeslade mit der Deckplatte darauf und alle anderen Geräte des Zeltes,8nämlich den Tisch mit allen seinen Geräten, den Leuchter aus feinem Gold samt allen zugehörigen Geräten, den Räucheraltar,9den Brandopferaltar mit allen seinen Geräten, das Becken mit seinem Gestell;10sodann die [Prachtkleider und] heiligen Kleider für den Priester Aaron sowie die Kleider seiner Söhne, die mir als Priester dienen sollen;11ferner das Salböl und das wohlriechende Räucherwerk für das Heiligtum. Genau so, wie ich dir geboten habe, sollen sie alles ausführen!«12Weiter gebot der HERR dem Mose folgendes:13»Du aber präge den Israeliten folgendes Gebot ein: ›Beobachtet ja meine Sabbate[2]! Denn sie sind ein Zeichen (des Bundes) zwischen mir und euch für eure künftigen Geschlechter, damit ihr erkennt, daß ich, der HERR, es bin, der euch heiligt.14Beobachtet also den Sabbat! Denn er soll euch heilig sein; wer ihn entweiht, soll unfehlbar mit dem Tode bestraft werden; ja wer irgendeine Arbeit an diesem Tage verrichtet, ein solcher Mensch soll aus der Mitte seiner Volksgenossen ausgerottet werden:15Sechs Tage lang darf gearbeitet werden, aber am siebten Tage ist der dem HERRN geheiligte Feiertag mit vollständiger Ruhe: wer irgend am Sabbattag eine Arbeit verrichtet, soll unfehlbar mit dem Tode bestraft werden!16So sollen also die Israeliten den Sabbat beobachten, indem sie den Ruhetag von Geschlecht zu Geschlecht feiern, als eine ewige Verpflichtung.17Für ewige Zeiten soll er ein Zeichen (des Bundes) zwischen mir und den Israeliten sein! Denn in sechs Tagen hat der HERR den Himmel und die Erde geschaffen, aber am siebten Tag hat er gefeiert und geruht.‹«18Als der HERR nun seine Unterredung mit Mose auf dem Berge Sinai beendet hatte, übergab er ihm die beiden Gesetzestafeln, steinerne Tafeln, die vom Finger Gottes beschrieben waren.

And I have given to all able men ability, that they may make all that I have commanded you: (2Mo 28,3; 2Mo 35,10; 2Mo 35,34; 2Mo 35,35; 2Mo 36,1)7the tent of meeting, and the ark of the testimony, and the mercy seat that is on it, and all the furnishings of the tent, (2Mo 36,8; 2Mo 37,1; 2Mo 37,6)8the table and its utensils, and the pure lampstand with all its utensils, and the altar of incense, (2Mo 37,10; 2Mo 37,17; 2Mo 37,25)9and the altar of burnt offering with all its utensils, and the basin and its stand, (2Mo 38,1; 2Mo 38,8)10and the finely worked garments,[1] the holy garments for Aaron the priest and the garments of his sons, for their service as priests, (2Mo 35,19; 2Mo 39,1; 2Mo 39,41)11and the anointing oil and the fragrant incense for the Holy Place. The Sabbath
12And the Lord said to Moses,13“You are to speak to the people of Israel and say, ‘Above all you shall keep my Sabbaths, for this is a sign between me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I, the Lord, sanctify you.14You shall keep the Sabbath, because it is holy for you. Everyone who profanes it shall be put to death. Whoever does any work on it, that soul shall be cut off from among his people. (2Mo 35,2; 4Mo 15,32; Jer 17,27)15Six days shall work be done, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of solemn rest, holy to the Lord. Whoever does any work on the Sabbath day shall be put to death. (1Mo 2,2; 2Mo 16,23; 2Mo 20,9; 2Mo 20,10; 2Mo 31,14)16Therefore the people of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, observing the Sabbath throughout their generations, as a covenant forever.17It is a sign forever between me and the people of Israel that in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested and was refreshed.’” (1Mo 1,31; 1Mo 2,2; 2Mo 31,13; Hebr 4,4; Hebr 4,10)18And he gave to Moses, when he had finished speaking with him on Mount Sinai, the two tablets of the testimony, tablets of stone, written with the finger of God.
