1Halleluja! Halleluja! (Ps 93,1)
Psalm 146
New International Reader’s Version
von Biblica1Praise the LORD. I will praise the LORD.2I will praise the LORD all my life. I will sing praise to my God as long as I live.3Don’t put your trust in human leaders. Don’t trust in people who can’t save you.4When they die, they return to the ground. On that day their plans come to nothing.5Blessed are those who depend on the God of Jacob for help. Blessed are those who put their hope in the LORD their God.6He is the Maker of heaven and earth and the ocean. He made everything in them. He remains faithful for ever.7He stands up for those who are treated badly. He gives food to hungry people. The LORD sets prisoners free.8The LORD gives sight to those who are blind. The LORD lifts up those who feel helpless. The LORD loves those who do what is right.9The LORD watches over the outsiders who live in our land. He takes good care of children whose fathers have died. He also takes good care of widows. But he causes evil people to fail in everything they do.10The LORD rules for ever. The God of Zion will rule for all time to come. Praise the LORD.
1Praise the LORD! Praise the LORD, O my soul! (Ps 135,1)2I will praise the LORD as long as I live; I will sing praises to my God while I have my being. (Ps 63,4; Ps 104,33; Ps 145,2)3Put not your trust in princes, in a son of man, in whom there is no salvation. (Ps 60,11; Ps 108,12; Ps 118,8; Ps 118,9; Jes 2,22; Jer 17,5)4When his breath departs, he returns to the earth; on that very day his plans perish. (Ps 104,29; Pred 12,7)5Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the LORD his God, (Ps 2,12; Ps 119,116; Ps 144,15)6who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, who keeps faith forever; (Ps 100,5; Ps 115,15; Ps 117,2)7who executes justice for the oppressed, who gives food to the hungry. The LORD sets the prisoners free; (Ps 68,6; Ps 103,6; Ps 105,20; Ps 107,9; Ps 145,15; Jes 61,1)8the LORD opens the eyes of the blind. The LORD lifts up those who are bowed down; the LORD loves the righteous. (Ps 11,7; Ps 145,14; Ps 147,6; Mt 9,30; Joh 9,7)9The LORD watches over the sojourners; he upholds the widow and the fatherless, but the way of the wicked he brings to ruin. (2Mo 22,21; 2Mo 22,22; 5Mo 10,18; Ps 147,6)10The LORD will reign forever, your God, O Zion, to all generations. Praise the LORD! (Ps 1,1; Ps 10,16)
