Die künftige Herrlichkeit des Tempels

1 Am einundzwanzigsten Tage des siebenten Monats geschah des HERRN Wort durch den Propheten Haggai: 

2 Sage zu Serubbabel, dem Sohn Schealtiëls, dem Statthalter von Juda, und zu Jeschua, dem Sohn Jozadaks, dem Hohenpriester, und zu den Übrigen vom Volk und sprich: 

3 Wer ist unter euch noch übrig, der dies Haus in seiner früheren Herrlichkeit gesehen hat? Und wie seht ihr’s nun? Sieht es nicht wie nichts aus? (Esr 3,12; Sach 4,10) 

4 Aber nun, Serubbabel, sei getrost, spricht der HERR, sei getrost, Jeschua, du Sohn Jozadaks, du Hoherpriester! Sei getrost, alles Volk im Lande, spricht der HERR, und arbeitet! Denn ich bin mit euch, spricht der HERR Zebaoth – (Jos 1,9) 

5 nach dem Wort, das ich euch zusagte, als ihr aus Ägypten zogt –, und mein Geist soll unter euch bleiben. Fürchtet euch nicht! (2Mo 19,5; Sach 4,6) 

6 Denn so spricht der HERR Zebaoth: Es ist nur noch eine kleine Weile, dass ich Himmel und Erde, das Meer und das Trockene erschüttere. (Hebr 12,26) 

7 Dann will ich alle Völker erschüttern, dass aller Völker Kostbarkeiten kommen, und ich will dies Haus mit Herrlichkeit füllen, spricht der HERR Zebaoth. 

8 Denn mein ist das Silber, und mein ist das Gold, spricht der HERR Zebaoth. (Jes 60,5) 

9 Es soll die Herrlichkeit dieses neuen Hauses größer werden, als die des ersten gewesen ist, spricht der HERR Zebaoth; und ich will Frieden geben an dieser Stätte, spricht der HERR Zebaoth. 

Können unheilige Menschen den Tempel bauen?

10 Am vierundzwanzigsten Tage des neunten Monats, im zweiten Jahr des Darius, geschah des HERRN Wort zu dem Propheten Haggai: 

11 So spricht der HERR Zebaoth: Frage die Priester nach dem Gesetz und sprich: 

12 Wenn jemand heiliges Fleisch trüge im Zipfel seines Kleides und berührte danach mit seinem Zipfel Brot, Gekochtes, Wein, Öl oder was es für Speise wäre, würde es auch heilig? Und die Priester antworteten und sprachen: Nein. 

13 Haggai sprach: Wenn aber jemand durch Berührung eines Toten unrein wäre und eins davon anrührte, würde es auch unrein? Die Priester antworteten und sprachen: Es würde unrein. (3Mo 5,2; 3Mo 22,4; 4Mo 5,2; 4Mo 9,10) 

14 Da antwortete Haggai und sprach: Ebenso ist es mit diesem Volk und mit diesen Leuten vor mir, spricht der HERR, und auch mit allem Werk ihrer Hände; und was sie dort opfern, ist unrein. (Esr 4,1) 

Ermutigung zum Weiterbau des Tempels

15 Doch achtet nun darauf, was von diesem Tage an geschieht! Bevor ein Stein auf den andern gelegt wurde am Tempel des HERRN, war es so: (Sach 8,9) 

16 Kam einer zum Kornhaufen, der zwanzig Maß haben sollte, so waren kaum zehn da; kam er zur Kelter und meinte, fünfzig Eimer zu schöpfen, so waren kaum zwanzig da. (Hag 1,6) 

17 Ich schlug euch mit Dürre, Getreidebrand und Hagel in all eurer Arbeit; doch keiner von euch hat sich zu mir bekehrt, spricht der HERR. (Am 4,6; Hag 1,11) 

18 Achtet doch darauf, was von diesem Tage an geschieht – vom vierundzwanzigsten Tage des neunten Monats an –, nämlich von dem Tag an, da der Tempel des HERRN gegründet wurde! Achtet darauf: 

19 Noch liegt das Saatgut in der Scheune, noch haben Weinstock, Feigenbaum, Granatapfel und Ölbaum nicht getragen; aber von diesem Tage an will ich Segen geben. 

Serubbabel – ein Siegelring Gottes

20 Und des HERRN Wort geschah zum zweiten Mal zu Haggai am vierundzwanzigsten Tage des Monats: 

21 Sage Serubbabel, dem Statthalter von Juda: Ich will Himmel und Erde erschüttern 

22 und will die Throne der Königreiche umstürzen und die Macht der Königreiche der Völker vertilgen und umstürzen die Wagen und ihre Fahrer; Ross und Reiter werden fallen, ein jeder durch des andern Schwert. 

23 Zur selben Zeit, spricht der HERR Zebaoth, will ich dich, Serubbabel, du Sohn Schealtiëls, meinen Knecht, nehmen, spricht der HERR, und dich wie einen Siegelring halten; denn ich habe dich erwählt, spricht der HERR Zebaoth. (Jer 22,24; Sach 4,6; Sach 6,12)

الوعد بمجد الهيكل الجديد

1 وَفِي الْيَوْمِ الْحَادِي وَالْعِشْرِينَ مِنَ الشَّهْرِ السَّابِعِ (أَيْ شَهْرِ تِشْرِينَ الأَوَّلِ – أُكْتُوبَرَ) أَوْحَى الرَّبُّ بِهَذِهِ الْكَلِمَةِ إِلَى حَجَّيِ النَّبِيِّ: 

2 «خَاطِبْ زَرُبَّابِلَ بْنَ شَأَلْتِيئِيلَ حَاكِمَ يَهُوذَا، وَيَهُوشَعَ بْنَ يَهُوصَادِقَ رَئِيسَ الْكَهَنَةِ وَجَمِيعَ الْبَقِيَّةِ النَّاجِيَةِ مِنَ الشَّعْبِ قَائِلاً: 

3 مَنْ بَقِيَ مِنْكُمْ مِمَّنْ شَاهَدُوا هَذَا الْهَيْكَلَ فِي مَجْدِهِ السَّابِقِ؟ كَيْفَ تَرَوْنَهُ الآنَ؟ أَلَيْسَ هُوَ فِي نَظَرِكُمْ كَلا شَيْءٍ؟ 

4 وَالآنَ تَشَجَّعْ يَازَرُبَّابِلُ، يَقُولُ الرَّبُّ، وَتَشَدَّدْ يَا يَهُوشَعُ بْنُ يَهُوصَادِقَ رَئِيسُ الْكَهَنَةِ، وَأَنْتُمْ كَذَلِكَ يَا جَمِيعَ سُكَّانِ الأَرْضِ. تَشَجَّعُوا وَاعْمَلُوا بِجَدٍّ لأَنِّي مَعَكُمْ، يَقُولُ الرَّبُّ الْقَدِيرُ. 

5 بِمُقْتَضَى عَهْدِي الَّذِي أَبْرَمْتُهُ مَعَكُمْ عِنْدَمَا خَرَجْتُمْ مِنْ دِيَارِ مِصْرَ. إِنَّ رُوحِي مَاكِثٌ مَعَكُمْ، فَلا تَفْزَعُوا. 

6 لأَنَّهُ هَكَذَا يَقُولُ الرَّبُّ الْقَدِيرُ: هَا أَنَا مُزْمِعٌ مَرَّةً أُخْرَى، عَمَّا قَلِيلٍ، أَنْ أُزَلْزِلَ السَّمَاءَ وَالأَرْضَ وَالْبَحْرَ وَالْيَابِسَةَ. 

7 وَأُزَعْزِعَ أَرْكَانَ جَمِيعِ الأُمَمِ فَتُجْلَبَ نَفَائِسُهُمْ إِلَى هَذَا الْمَكَانِ وَأَمْلأَ هَذَا الْهَيْكَلَ بِالْمَجْدِ. 

8 فَالذَّهَبُ وَالْفِضَّةُ لِي يَقُولُ الرَّبُّ الْقَدِيرُ. 

9 وَيَكُونُ مَجْدُ هَذَا الْهَيْكَلِ الأَخِيرِ أَعْظَمَ مِنْ مَجْدِ الْهَيْكَلِ السَّابِقِ، وَأَجْعَلُ السَّلامَ يَسُودُ هَذَا الْمَوْضِعَ يَقُولُ الرَّبُّ الْقَدِيرُ».

10 وَفِي الْيَوْمِ الرَّابِعِ وَالْعِشْرِينَ مِنَ الشَّهْرِ التَّاسِعِ (أَيْ شَهْرِ كَانُونَ الأَوَّلِ – دِيسَمْبَر)، فِي السَّنَةِ الثَّانِيَةِ لِحُكْمِ دَارِيُّوسَ أَوْحَى الرَّبُّ بِهَذِهِ الْكَلِمَةِ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ حَجَّيِ: 

11 «هَذَا مَا يَقُولُهُ الرَّبُّ الْقَدِيرُ: اسْأَلِ الْكَهَنَةَ عَمَّا تَقُولُهُ الشَّرِيعَةُ بِشَأْنِ هَذَا السُّؤَالِ: 

12 إِنْ حَمَلَ إِنْسَانٌ لَحْماً مُقَدَّساً بَيْنَ طَيَّاتِ ثَوْبِهِ، وَلَمَسَ طَرَفُهُ خُبْزاً أَوْ طَبِيخاً أَوْ خَمْراً أَوْ زَيْتاً أَوْ أَيَّ طَعَامٍ آخَرَ، فَهَلْ يُصْبِحُ ذَاكَ مُقَدَّساً؟» فَأَجَابَ الْكَهَنَةُ: «لا». 

13 ثُمَّ سَأَلَ حَجَّي: «إِنْ لَمَسَ إِنْسَانٌ تَنَجَّسَ بِمَسِّ مَيْتٍ شَيْئاً مِنْ هَذِهِ هَلْ تُصْبِحُ نَجِسَةً؟» فَأَجَابَ الْكَهَنَةُ: «نَعَمْ، تُصْبِحُ نَجِسَةً». 

14 عِنْدَئِذٍ قَالَ حَجَّي: «هَذَا هُوَ حَالُ الشَّعْبِ، وَهَذَا هُوَ حَالُ الأُمَّةِ أَمَامِي يَقُولُ الرَّبُّ، فَكُلُّ أَعْمَالِ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَجَمِيعُ مَا يُقَدِّمُونَهُ نَجِسٌ. 

15 وَالآنَ تَأَمَّلُوا فِيمَا صَنَعْتُمُ الْيَوْمَ وَالأَيَّامَ السَّالِفَةَ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَضَعُوا حَجَراً فَوْقَ حَجَرٍ لِبِنَاءِ هَيْكَلِ الرَّبِّ. 

16 عِنْدَمَا كَانَ يُقْبِلُ أَحَدٌ عَلَى كَوْمَةِ حُبُوبٍ ظَنّاً مِنْهُ أَنَّ الأَرْضَ قَدْ غَلَّتْ عِشْرِينَ مِكْيَالاً، يَجِدُ أَنَّهَا لَمْ تُغِلَّ سِوَى عَشَرَةٍ فَقَطْ. وَحِينَ يَدْنُو مِنَ الْمِعْصَرَةِ لِيَغْرُفَ مِلْءَ خَمْسِينَ وِعَاءً، لَا يَجِدُ إِلّا عِشْرِينَ. 

17 إِنِّي ابْتَلَيْتُ تَعَبَ أَيْدِيكُمْ بِالْقَحْطِ وَالذُّبُولِ وَالْبَرَدِ، وَلَكِنَّكُمْ لَمْ تَرْجِعُوا تَائِبِينَ إِلَيَّ، يَقُولُ الرَّبُّ. 

18 وَلَكِنْ تَأَمَّلُوا فِيمَا يَجْرِي مُنْذُ هَذَا الْيَوْمِ وَصَاعِداً، مِنَ الْيَوْمِ الرَّابِعِ وَالْعِشْرِينَ مِنَ الشَّهْرِ التَّاسِعِ، مُنْذُ أَنْ تَمَّ وَضْعُ أَسَاسِ هَيْكَلِ الرَّبِّ. تَأَمَّلُوا. 

19 هَلْ فِي الأَهْرَاءِ بِذَارٌ بَعْدُ؟ حَتَّى الْكُرُومُ وَالتِّينُ وَالرُّمَّانُ وَالزَّيْتُونُ لَمْ تُثْمِرْ بَعْدُ. لَكِنْ مُنْذُ هَذَا الْيَوْمِ أُبَارِكُ فِيهَا».

20 ثُمَّ أَوْحَى الرَّبُّ بِكَلِمَتِهِ إِلَى حَجَّي لِلْمَرَّةِ الثَّانِيَةِ فِي الْيَوْمِ الرَّابِعِ وَالْعِشْرِينَ مِنَ الشَّهْرِ قَائِلاً: 

21 «كَلِّمْ زَرُبَّابِلَ حَاكِمَ يَهُوذَا وَقُلْ لَهُ: أَنَا مُزْمِعٌ أَنْ أُزَلْزِلَ السَّمَاءَ وَالأَرْضَ. 

22 وَأُطَوِّحَ بِعُرُوشِ مَمَالِكِ الأُمَمِ، وَأُدَمِّرَ قُوَّتَهَا وَأَقْلِبَ الْمَرْكَبَاتِ وَفُرْسَانَهَا، فَتَهْوِي الْخُيُولُ وَرُكَّابُهَا وَيَلْقَى كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ حَتْفَهُ بِسَيْفِ صَاحِبِهِ. 

23 فِي ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمِ، يَقُولُ الرَّبُّ الْقَدِيرُ، أَصْطَفِيكَ يَازَرُبَّابِلُ بْنُ شَأَلْتِيئِيلَ عَبْدِي، وَأَجْعَلُكَ كَخَاتَمٍ فِي إِصْبَعِي (حَاكِماً بِاسْمِي) لأَنِّي اخْتَرْتُكَ يَقُولُ الرَّبُّ الْقَدِيرُ».

New International Version

1 on the twenty-first day of the seventh month, the word of the Lord came through the prophet Haggai: 

2 ‘Speak to Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, to Joshua son of Jozadak, the high priest, and to the remnant of the people. Ask them, 

3 “Who of you is left who saw this house in its former glory? How does it look to you now? Does it not seem to you like nothing? 

4 But now be strong, Zerubbabel,” declares the Lord. “Be strong, Joshua son of Jozadak, the high priest. Be strong, all you people of the land,” declares the Lord, “and work. For I am with you,” declares the Lord Almighty. 

5 “This is what I covenanted with you when you came out of Egypt. And my Spirit remains among you. Do not fear.” 

6 ‘This is what the Lord Almighty says: “In a little while I will once more shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land. 

7 I will shake all nations, and what is desired by all nations will come, and I will fill this house with glory,” says the Lord Almighty. 

8 “The silver is mine and the gold is mine,” declares the Lord Almighty. 

9 “The glory of this present house will be greater than the glory of the former house,” says the Lord Almighty. “And in this place I will grant peace,” declares the Lord Almighty.’ 

Blessings for a defiled people

10 On the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, in the second year of Darius, the word of the Lord came to the prophet Haggai: 

11 ‘This is what the Lord Almighty says: “Ask the priests what the law says: 

12 if someone carries consecrated meat in the fold of their garment, and that fold touches some bread or stew, some wine, olive oil or other food, does it become consecrated?” ’ The priests answered, ‘No.’ 

13 Then Haggai said, ‘If a person defiled by contact with a dead body touches one of these things, does it become defiled?’ ‘Yes,’ the priests replied, ‘it becomes defiled.’ 

14 Then Haggai said, ‘ “So it is with this people and this nation in my sight,” declares the Lord. “Whatever they do and whatever they offer there is defiled. 

15 ‘ “Now give careful thought to this from this day on – consider how things were before one stone was laid on another in the Lord’s temple. 

16 When anyone came to a heap of twenty measures, there were only ten. When anyone went to a wine vat to draw fifty measures, there were only twenty. 

17 I struck all the work of your hands with blight, mildew and hail, yet you did not return to me,” declares the Lord. 

18 “From this day on, from this twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, give careful thought to the day when the foundation of the Lord’s temple was laid. Give careful thought: 

19 is there yet any seed left in the barn? Until now, the vine and the fig-tree, the pomegranate and the olive tree have not borne fruit. ‘ “From this day on I will bless you.” ’

20 The word of the Lord came to Haggai a second time on the twenty-fourth day of the month: 

21 ‘Tell Zerubbabel governor of Judah that I am going to shake the heavens and the earth. 

22 I will overturn royal thrones and shatter the power of the foreign kingdoms. I will overthrow chariots and their drivers; horses and their riders will fall, each by the sword of his brother. 

23 ‘ “On that day,” declares the Lord Almighty, “I will take you, my servant Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel,” declares the Lord, “and I will make you like my signet ring, for I have chosen you,” declares the Lord Almighty.’

3 «Кто из вас ещё помнит этот дом в его прежней славе? Каким вы видите его сейчас? Разве он не кажется вам ничтожным?» 

4 Но сейчас ободрись, Зоровавель, – возвещает Вечный. – Ободрись, Иешуа, сын Иехоцадака, главный священнослужитель. Ободрись, и весь народ страны, – возвещает Вечный, – и трудитесь, потому что Я с вами, – возвещает Вечный, Повелитель Сил, – 

5 по соглашению, которое Я заключил с вами, когда вы вышли из Египта. Мой Дух пребывает с вами. Не бойтесь! 

6 Так говорит Вечный, Повелитель Сил: – Вскоре Я снова сотрясу небо и землю, море и сушу. 

7 Я сотрясу все народы, и их сокровища придут сюда, и Я наполню этот дом славой, – говорит Вечный, Повелитель Сил. – 

8 Серебро и золото – Мои, – возвещает Вечный, Повелитель Сил. – 

9 Слава этого дома превзойдёт славу прежнего, – говорит Вечный, Повелитель Сил, – и здесь Я дарую благоденствие, – возвещает Вечный, Повелитель Сил. 

Обличение народа

10 В двадцать четвёртый день девятого месяца, во второй год правления царя Дария (18 декабря 520 г. до н. э.), было слово Вечного к пророку Аггею: 

11 – Так говорит Вечный, Повелитель Сил: Спроси священнослужителей, что говорит Закон: 

12 если кто-то несёт посвящённое Всевышнему мясо в поле одежды и прикоснётся ею к лепёшке, похлёбке, вину, маслу или другой еде, станет ли эта еда тоже посвящённой Всевышнему? Священнослужители ответили: – Нет. 

13 Тогда Аггей сказал: – А если тот, кто осквернился, прикоснувшись к покойнику, коснётся одной из этих вещей, тогда эта вещь осквернится? – Да, – ответили священнослужители, – тогда осквернится. 

14 И Аггей сказал: – Так и с этим народом, с этим родом, что предо Мной, – возвещает Вечный. – Всё, что они делают, и всё, что они приносят там, нечисто. 

Обещание благословения

15 – Вспомните недавнее прошлое, до того, как камень был положен на камень в храме Вечного. 

16 Когда вы приходили к копне, в которой было двадцать мер, в ней оказывалось лишь десять. Когда вы приходили к давильне, чтобы начерпать пятьдесят мер, в ней оказывалось всего двадцать. 

17 Я поражал все труды ваших рук знойным ветром, плесенью и градом, но вы не обращались ко Мне, – возвещает Вечный. – 

18 Вспомните недавнее прошлое, начиная с сегодняшнего дня, двадцать четвёртого дня девятого месяца (18 декабря), когда были заложены основания храма Вечного. 

19 Остались ли ещё семена в закромах? Ни виноградная лоза, ни инжир, ни гранат, ни маслина до сих пор не принесли плода. Но с этого дня Я благословлю вас. 

Зоровавель – избранник Всевышнего

20 В двадцать четвёртый день месяца (18 декабря) во второй раз к пророку Аггею было слово Вечного: 

21 – Скажи Зоровавелю, наместнику Иудеи, что Я сотрясу небо и землю. 

22 Я низвергну царские престолы и сломлю силу чужеземных царств. Я опрокину колесницы и колесничих; падут кони, и их наездники погибнут от мечей друг друга. 

23 В тот день, – возвещает Вечный, Повелитель Сил, – Я возьму тебя, Мой раб Зоровавель, сын Шеалтиила, – возвещает Вечный, – и уподоблю перстню с печатью, потому что Я избрал тебя, – возвещает Вечный, Повелитель Сил. (Jer 22,24)
