Wiederholung der Zehn Gebote

1 Und Mose rief ganz Israel zusammen und sprach zu ihnen: Höre, Israel, die Gebote und Rechte, die ich heute vor euren Ohren rede, und lernt sie und bewahrt sie, dass ihr danach tut! (2Mo 20,1) 2 Der HERR, unser Gott, hat einen Bund mit uns geschlossen am Horeb. (2Mo 19,5) 3 Nicht mit unsern Vätern hat der HERR diesen Bund geschlossen, sondern mit uns, die wir heute hier sind und alle leben. (5Mo 29,14) 4 Er hat von Angesicht zu Angesicht mit euch aus dem Feuer auf dem Berge geredet. (5Mo 24,1) 5 Ich stand zu derselben Zeit zwischen dem HERRN und euch, um euch des HERRN Wort zu verkündigen; denn ihr fürchtetet euch vor dem Feuer und gingt nicht auf den Berg. Und er sprach: 6 Ich bin der HERR, dein Gott, der dich aus Ägyptenland geführt hat, aus der Knechtschaft. 7 Du sollst keine anderen Götter haben neben mir. (5Mo 11,16; 5Mo 11,28) 8 Du sollst dir kein Bildnis machen in irgendeiner Gestalt, weder von dem, was oben im Himmel, noch von dem, was unten auf Erden, noch von dem, was im Wasser unter der Erde ist. (5Mo 27,15) 9 Du sollst sie nicht anbeten noch ihnen dienen. Denn ich, der HERR, dein Gott, bin ein eifernder Gott, der die Missetat der Väter heimsucht bis ins dritte und vierte Glied an den Kindern derer, die mich hassen, (5Mo 4,24) 10 aber Barmherzigkeit erweist an vielen Tausenden, die mich lieben und meine Gebote halten. 11 Du sollst den Namen des HERRN, deines Gottes, nicht missbrauchen; denn der HERR wird den nicht ungestraft lassen, der seinen Namen missbraucht. 12 Den Sabbattag sollst du halten, dass du ihn heiligst, wie dir der HERR, dein Gott, geboten hat. 13 Sechs Tage sollst du arbeiten und alle deine Werke tun. 14 Aber am siebenten Tag ist der Sabbat des HERRN, deines Gottes. Da sollst du keine Arbeit tun, auch nicht dein Sohn, deine Tochter, dein Knecht, deine Magd, dein Rind, dein Esel, all dein Vieh, auch nicht dein Fremdling, der in deiner Stadt lebt, auf dass dein Knecht und deine Magd ruhen gleichwie du. 15 Denn du sollst daran denken, dass auch du Knecht in Ägyptenland warst und der HERR, dein Gott, dich von dort herausgeführt hat mit mächtiger Hand und ausgerecktem Arm. Darum hat dir der HERR, dein Gott, geboten, dass du den Sabbattag halten sollst. (5Mo 15,15; 5Mo 16,12; 5Mo 24,18; 5Mo 24,22)

16 Du sollst deinen Vater und deine Mutter ehren, wie dir der HERR, dein Gott, geboten hat, auf dass du lange lebest und dir’s wohlgehe in dem Lande, das dir der HERR, dein Gott, geben wird. 17 Du sollst nicht töten. 18 Du sollst nicht ehebrechen. 19 Du sollst nicht stehlen. 20 Du sollst nicht falsch Zeugnis reden wider deinen Nächsten. 21 Du sollst nicht begehren deines Nächsten Frau. Du sollst nicht begehren deines Nächsten Haus, Acker, Knecht, Magd, Rind, Esel noch alles, was sein ist. (Mi 2,2) 22 Das sind die Worte, die der HERR redete zu eurer ganzen Gemeinde auf dem Berge, aus dem Feuer und der Wolke und dem Dunkel mit großer Stimme, und tat nichts hinzu und schrieb sie auf zwei steinerne Tafeln und gab sie mir. (2Mo 31,18)

Mose als Mittler zwischen Gott und Israel

23 Als ihr aber die Stimme aus der Finsternis hörtet und der Berg im Feuer brannte, tratet ihr zu mir, alle eure Stammeshäupter und eure Ältesten, 24 und spracht: Siehe, der HERR, unser Gott, hat uns sehen lassen seine Herrlichkeit und seine Majestät, und wir haben seine Stimme aus dem Feuer gehört. Heute haben wir zwar gesehen, dass Gott mit Menschen redet und sie am Leben bleiben. (5Mo 4,12; 5Mo 4,33) 25 Aber nun, warum sollen wir sterben? Dies große Feuer wird uns noch verzehren! Wenn wir des HERRN, unseres Gottes, Stimme weiter hören, so müssen wir sterben. 26 Kann denn Sterbliches die Stimme des lebendigen Gottes aus dem Feuer reden hören wie wir und doch am Leben bleiben? 27 Tritt du hinzu und höre alles, was der HERR, unser Gott, sagt, und sage es uns. Alles, was der HERR, unser Gott, mit dir reden wird, das wollen wir hören und tun. 28 Als aber der HERR eure Worte hörte, die ihr mit mir redetet, sprach er zu mir: Ich habe gehört die Worte dieses Volks, die sie mit dir geredet haben; es ist alles gut, was sie geredet haben. 29 Ach dass sie ein solches Herz hätten, mich zu fürchten und zu halten alle meine Gebote ihr Leben lang, auf dass es ihnen und ihren Kindern wohlginge ewiglich! (5Mo 29,3) 30 Geh hin und sage ihnen: Geht heim in eure Zelte! 31 Du aber sollst hier vor mir stehen bleiben, damit ich dir verkündige das ganze Gesetz, die Gebote und Rechte, die du sie lehren sollst, dass sie danach tun in dem Lande, das ich ihnen geben werde, um es einzunehmen. 32 So habt nun acht, dass ihr tut, wie euch der HERR, euer Gott, geboten hat, und weicht nicht, weder zur Rechten noch zur Linken, (5Mo 4,2; 5Mo 28,14; Jos 1,7; Spr 4,27)

1 وَاسْتَدْعَى مُوسَى جَمِيعَ الإِسْرَائِيلِيِّينَ وَقَالَ لَهُمْ: «اسْمَعُوا يَا بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ الشَّرَائِعَ وَالأَحْكَامَ الَّتِي أَتْلُوهَا عَلَيْكُمْ فِي هَذَا الْيَوْمِ، وَتَعَلَّمُوهَا وَاحْرِصُوا عَلَى مُمَارَسَتِهَا. 2 قَطَعَ الرَّبُّ إِلَهُنَا مَعَنَا عَهْداً فِي جَبَلِ حُورِيبَ. 3 لَيْسَ مَعَ آبَائِنَا قَطَعَ هَذَا الْعَهْدَ، إِنَّمَا مَعَنَا نَحْنُ الَّذِينَ هُنَا الْيَوْمَ جَمِيعاً أَحْيَاءُ، 4 إِذْ تَكَلَّمَ الرَّبُّ مَعَنَا فِي الْجَبَلِ مِنْ وَسَطِ النَّارِ وَجْهاً لِوَجْهٍ. 5 وَكُنْتُ أَنَا وَاقِفاً بَيْنَ الرَّبِّ وَبَيْنَكُمْ، لأَنَّكُمْ خِفْتُمْ مِنَ النَّارَ، فَلَمْ تَصْعَدُوا إِلَى الْجَبَلِ. فَقَالَ الرَّبُّ: 6 أَنَا هُوَ الرَّبُّ إِلَهُكَ الَّذِي حَرَّرَكَ مِنْ سِجْنِ الْعُبُودِيَّةِ فِي دِيَارِ مِصْرَ. 7 لَا يَكُنْ لَكَ آلِهَةٌ أُخْرَى أَمَامِي. 8 لَا تَنْحَتْ لَكَ تِمْثَالاً، وَلا صُورَةً مَا مِمَّا فِي السَّمَاءِ وَمَا فِي الأَرْضِ وَمَا فِي الْمَاءِ تَحْتَ الأَرْضِ. 9 لَا تَسْجُدْ لَهَا وَلا تَعْبُدْهَا، لأَنِّي أَنَا الرَّبُّ إِلَهُكَ إِلَهٌ غَيُورٌ، أَفْتَقِدُ مَعَاصِيَ الآبَاءِ فِي الأَبْنَاءِ حَتَّى الْجِيلِ الثَّالِثِ وَالرَّابِعِ مِنْ مُبْغِضِيَّ. 10 وَأُحْسِنُ إِلَى أُلُوفٍ مِنْ مُحِبِّيَّ وَطَائِعِي وَصَايَايَ. 11 لَا تَنْطِقْ بِاسْمِ الرَّبِّ إِلَهِكَ بَاطِلاً، لأَنَّ الرَّبَّ لَا يُبْرِئُ مَنْ يَنْطِقُ بِاسْمِهِ بَاطِلاً. 12 احْفَظْ يَوْمَ السَّبْتِ مُقَدَّساً كَمَا أَوْصَاكَ الرَّبُّ إِلَهُكَ. 13 سِتَّةَ أَيَّامٍ تَشْتَغِلُ وَتَقُومُ بِجَمِيعِ أَعْمَالِكَ، 14 وَأَمَّا الْيَوْمُ السَّابِعُ فَيَكُونُ يَوْمَ رَاحَةٍ لِلرَّبِّ إِلَهِكَ، لَا تَقُومُ فِيهِ بِأَيِّ عَمَلٍ أَنْتَ وَابْنُكَ وَابْنَتُكَ وَعَبْدُكَ وَأَمَتُكَ وَثَوْرُكَ وَحِمَارُكَ وَكُلُّ بَهَائِمِكَ، وَالأَجْنَبِيُّ الْمُقِيمُ دَاخِلَ أَبْوَابِكَ، لِيَسْتَرِيحَ عَبْدُكَ وَأَمَتُكَ مِثْلَكَ. 15 وَتَذَكَّرْ أَنَّكَ كُنْتَ عَبْداً فِي دِيَارِ مِصْرَ، فَأَطْلَقَكَ الرَّبُّ مِنْ هُنَاكَ بِقُدْرَةٍ فَائِقَةٍ وَقُوَّةٍ شَدِيدَةٍ، لِهَذَا أَوْصَاكَ الرَّبُّ إِلَهُكَ أَنْ تَرْتَاحَ فِي يَوْمِ السَّبْتِ. 16 أَكْرِمْ أَبَاكَ وَأُمَّكَ كَمَا أَمَرَكَ الرَّبُّ إِلَهُكَ، فَتَطُولَ أَيَّامُكَ وَيَكُونَ لَكَ خَيْرٌ عَلَى الأَرْضِ الَّتِي يُوَرِّثُهَا لَكَ الرَّبُّ إِلَهُكَ. 17 لَا تَقْتُلْ. 18 لَا تَزْنِ. 19 لَا تَسْرِقْ. 20 لَا تَشْهَدْ عَلَى جَارِكَ شَهَادَةَ زُورٍ. 21 لَا تَشْتَهِ امْرَأَةَ غَيْرِكَ وَلا بَيْتَهُ وَلا حَقْلَهُ وَلا عَبْدَهُ وَلا أَمَتَهُ وَلا ثَوْرَهُ وَلا حِمَارَهُ وَلا أَيَّاً مِمَّا لَهُ. 22 إِنَّ الرَّبَّ قَدْ أَعْلَنَ بِصَوْتٍ عَظِيمٍ هَذِهِ الْكَلِمَاتِ لِكُلِّ جَمَاعَتِكُمْ فِي الْجَبَلِ مِنْ وَسَطِ النَّارِ وَالسَّحَابِ وَلَمْ يَزِدْ. وَنَقَشَهَا عَلَى لَوْحَيْنِ مِنْ حَجَرٍ وَأَعْطَانِي إِيَّاهَا. 23 فَلَمَّا سَمِعْتُمُ الصَّوْتَ مِنْ وَسَطِ الظَّلامِ، وَالْجَبَلُ يَشْتَعِلُ بِالنَّارِ، أَقْبَلَ عَلَيَّ جَمِيعُ قَادَةِ أَسْبَاطِكُمْ وَشُيُوخِكُمْ، 24 وَقَالُوا: قَدْ أَظْهَرَ الرَّبُّ لَنَا مَجْدَهُ وَعَظَمَتَهُ، وَسَمِعْنَا صَوْتَهُ مِنْ وَسَطِ النَّارِ، وَرَأَيْنَا فِي هَذَا الْيَوْمِ أَنَّ اللهَ يُخَاطِبُ الإِنْسَانَ فَلا يَمُوتُ. 25 وَلَكِنِ الآنَ، إِنْ عُدْنَا نَسْمَعُ صَوْتَ الرَّبِّ إِلَهِنَا فَإِنَّ هَذِهِ النَّارَ الْعَظِيمَةَ تَلْتَهِمُنَا. فَلِمَاذَا نَمُوتُ؟ 26 إِذْ أَيُّ بَشَرِيٍّ سَمِعَ صَوْتَ اللهِ الْحَيِّ يَتَكَلَّمُ مِنْ وَسَطِ النَّارِ مِثْلَنَا وَعَاشَ؟ 27 فَتَقَدَّمْ أَنْتَ وَاسْتَمِعْ كُلَّ مَا يَنْطِقُ بِهِ الرَّبُّ إِلَهُنَا، وَخَاطِبْنَا بِجَمِيعِ مَا يُكَلِّمُكَ بِهِ، فَنَسْتَمِعَ وَنُطِيعَ. 28 فَسَمِعَ الرَّبُّ حَدِيثَكُمْ حِينَ كَلَّمْتُمُونِي، وَقَالَ لِي: لَقَدْ سَمِعْتُ حَدِيثَ الشَّعْبِ الَّذِي كَلَّمُوكَ بِهِ. وَقَدْ أَحْسَنُوا فِي كُلِّ مَا قَالُوهُ. 29 يَا لَيْتَ قَلْبَهُمْ يَظَلُّ مُتَعَلِّقاً بِي حَتَّى يَتَّقُونِي وَيُطِيعُوا جَمِيعَ وَصَايَايَ دَائِماً، لِكَيْ يَتَمَتَّعُوا هُمْ وَأَوْلادُهُمْ بِالْخَيْرِ إِلَى الأَبَدِ. 30 اذْهَبْ وَقُلْ لَهُمْ: ارْجِعُوا إِلَى خِيَامِكُمْ. 31 وَأَمَّا أَنْتَ فَامْثُلْ هُنَا أَمَامِي، فَأُكَلِّمَكَ بِجَمِيعِ الْوَصَايَا وَالشَّرَائِعِ وَالأَحْكَامِ لِتُعَلِّمَهَا لَهُمْ فَيَعْمَلُوا بِها فِي الأَرْضِ الَّتِي وَهَبْتُهَا لَهُمْ لِيَمْتَلِكُوهَا. 32 فَاحْرِصُوا عَلَى الْعَمَلِ بِكُلِّ مَا أَمَرَكُمْ بِهِ الرَّبُّ إِلَهُكُمْ، لَا تَحِيدُوا يَمِيناً أَوْ شِمَالاً. 33 وَاسْلُكُوا فِي كُلِّ الطَّرِيقِ الَّتِي أَوْصَاكُمْ بِها الرَّبُّ لِتَحْيَوْا وَتَزْدَهِرُوا وَتَمْكُثُوا طَوِيلاً فِي الأَرْضِ الَّتِي تَرِثُونَهَا.

New International Version

The Ten Commandments

1 Moses summoned all Israel and said: Hear, Israel, the decrees and the laws I declare in your hearing today. Learn them and be sure to follow them. 2 The Lord our God made a covenant with us at Horeb. 3 It was not with our ancestors^[1] that the Lord made this covenant, but with us, with all of us who are alive here today. 4 The Lord spoke to you face to face out of the fire on the mountain. 5 (At that time I stood between the Lord and you to declare to you the word of the Lord, because you were afraid of the fire and did not go up the mountain.) And he said: 6 ‘I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. 7 ‘You shall have no other gods before^[2] me. 8 You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. 9 You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, 10 but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments. 11 You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name. 12 Observe the Sabbath day by keeping it holy, as the Lord your God has commanded you. 13 Six days you shall labour and do all your work, 14 but the seventh day is a sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your male or female servant, nor your ox, your donkey or any of your animals, nor any foreigner residing in your towns, so that your male and female servants may rest, as you do. 15 Remember that you were slaves in Egypt and that the Lord your God brought you out of there with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm. Therefore the Lord your God has commanded you to observe the Sabbath day. 16 Honour your father and your mother, as the Lord your God has commanded you, so that you may live long and that it may go well with you in the land the Lord your God is giving you. 17 You shall not murder. 18 You shall not commit adultery. 19 You shall not steal. 20 You shall not give false testimony against your neighbour. 21 You shall not covet your neighbour’s wife. You shall not set your desire on your neighbour’s house or land, his male or female servant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbour.’ 22 These are the commandments the Lord proclaimed in a loud voice to your whole assembly there on the mountain from out of the fire, the cloud and the deep darkness; and he added nothing more. Then he wrote them on two stone tablets and gave them to me. 23 When you heard the voice out of the darkness, while the mountain was ablaze with fire, all the leaders of your tribes and your elders came to me. 24 And you said, ‘The Lord our God has shown us his glory and his majesty, and we have heard his voice from the fire. Today we have seen that a person can live even if God speaks with them. 25 But now, why should we die? This great fire will consume us, and we will die if we hear the voice of the Lord our God any longer. 26 For what mortal has ever heard the voice of the living God speaking out of fire, as we have, and survived? 27 Go near and listen to all that the Lord our God says. Then tell us whatever the Lord our God tells you. We will listen and obey.’ 28 The Lord heard you when you spoke to me, and the Lord said to me, ‘I have heard what this people said to you. Everything they said was good. 29 Oh, that their hearts would be inclined to fear me and keep all my commands always, so that it might go well with them and their children for ever! 30 ‘Go, tell them to return to their tents. 31 But you stay here with me so that I may give you all the commands, decrees and laws that you are to teach them to follow in the land I am giving them to possess.’ 32 So be careful to do what the Lord your God has commanded you; do not turn aside to the right or to the left. 33 Walk in obedience to all that the Lord your God has commanded you, so that you may live and prosper and prolong your days in the land that you will possess.

Он сказал: 6 «Я Вечный, твой Бог, Который вывел тебя из Египта, земли рабства. 7 Пусть не будет у тебя других богов, кроме Меня. 8 Не делай себе идола – никакого изображения того, что на небе вверху, или на земле внизу, или в водах ниже земли. 9 Не поклоняйся им и не служи им, ведь Я, Вечный, твой Бог, – ревнивый Бог, наказывающий детей за грехи отцов до третьего и четвёртого поколения тех, кто ненавидит Меня. 10 Но Я дарую любовь тысячам поколений тех, кто^[1] любит Меня и соблюдает Мои повеления. 11 Не произноси имени Вечного, твоего Бога, напрасно, потому что Вечный не оставит безнаказанным никого, кто произносит Его имя напрасно. 12 Соблюдай субботний день, храни его святым, как повелел тебе Вечный, твой Бог. 13 Шесть дней трудись и делай всю свою работу, 14 но седьмой день – это суббота, она принадлежит Вечному, твоему Богу. Не делай в этот день никакой работы ни ты, ни твой сын или дочь, ни слуга или служанка, ни вол, ни осёл, ни какой другой скот, ни чужеземец в твоих городах, чтобы твои слуга и служанка могли отдохнуть, как и ты сам. 15 Помни, что ты был рабом в Египте и что Вечный, твой Бог, вывел тебя оттуда могучей и простёртой рукой. Поэтому Вечный, твой Бог, повелел тебе соблюдать субботний день. 16 Почитай отца и мать, как повелел тебе Вечный, твой Бог, чтобы тебе жить долго и благополучно на земле, которую даёт тебе Вечный, твой Бог. 17 Не убивай. 18 Не нарушай супружескую верность. 19 Не кради. 20 Не лжесвидетельствуй. 21 Не желай жены ближнего. Не желай дома или земли ближнего, его слуги или служанки, его вола или осла: ничего из того, что принадлежит ближнему твоему».

22 Это повеления, которые Вечный объявил громким голосом всему народу там, на горе, из огня, облака и кромешной тьмы. Больше Он ничего не добавил. Потом Он написал эти повеления на двух каменных плитках и дал их мне. (2Mo 20,18) 23 Когда вы слышали голос из тьмы, а гора пылала огнём, все вожди ваших родов и ваши старейшины пришли ко мне 24 и сказали: «Вечный, наш Бог, показал нам Свою славу и величие, и мы слышали Его голос из огня. Сегодня мы увидели, что человек может жить, даже если Всевышний говорит с ним. 25 Но зачем нам рисковать жизнью ещё раз? Этот великий огонь пожрёт нас, и мы погибнем, если и дальше будем слышать голос Вечного, нашего Бога. 26 Ведь кто из смертных когда-либо слышал, как мы, голос живого Бога, говорящего из огня, и остался жив? 27 Иди и выслушай, что говорит Вечный, наш Бог. Потом перескажи нам всё, что Вечный, наш Бог, тебе скажет. Мы выслушаем и исполним». 28 Вечный услышал вас, когда вы говорили со мной, и сказал мне: «Я услышал всё, что говорили тебе эти люди. Всё, что они сказали, хорошо. 29 О если бы их сердце побуждало их всегда жить в страхе предо Мной и соблюдать все Мои повеления, то с ними и с их детьми всё было бы благополучно! 30 Иди, скажи им, чтобы они вернулись к своим шатрам. 31 Но сам останься здесь со Мной, чтобы Я дал тебе все повеления, установления и законы. Ты должен научить их следовать им в земле, которую Я отдаю им во владение». 32 Смотрите же, исполняйте то, что повелел вам Вечный, ваш Бог; не уклоняйтесь ни вправо, ни влево. 33 Всегда идите тем путём, которым повелел вам идти Вечный, ваш Бог, чтобы жить и преуспевать и умножить свои дни в земле, которой вы завладеете.
