1 Und der HERR sprach zu Mose: Sage Aaron: Recke deine Hand aus mit deinem Stabe über die Ströme, Kanäle und Sümpfe und lass Frösche über Ägyptenland kommen. 

2 Und Aaron reckte seine Hand aus über die Wasser in Ägypten, und es kamen Frösche herauf und bedeckten Ägyptenland. 

3 Da taten die Zauberer ebenso mit ihren Künsten und ließen Frösche über Ägyptenland kommen. (2Mo 7,11) 

4 Da ließ der Pharao Mose und Aaron rufen und sprach: Bittet den HERRN für mich, dass er die Frösche von mir und von meinem Volk nehme, so will ich das Volk ziehen lassen, dass es dem HERRN opfere. (2Mo 9,28; 2Mo 10,17; 2Mo 24,1) 

5 Mose sprach: Bestimme über mich in deiner Majestät, wann ich für dich, für deine Großen und für dein Volk bitten soll, dass bei dir und in deinem Haus die Frösche vertilgt werden und allein im Nil bleiben. 

6 Er sprach: Morgen. Mose antwortete: Ganz wie du gesagt hast; auf dass du erfahrest, dass niemand ist wie der HERR, unser Gott. (2Mo 9,14; 2Mo 15,11; 5Mo 33,26; 2Sam 7,22; Jer 10,6) 

7 Die Frösche sollen von dir, von deinem Hause, von deinen Großen und von deinem Volk weichen und allein im Nil übrig bleiben. 

8 So gingen Mose und Aaron vom Pharao. Und Mose schrie zu dem HERRN wegen der Frösche, die er über den Pharao gebracht hatte. 

9 Und der HERR tat, wie Mose gesagt hatte, und die Frösche starben in den Häusern, in den Höfen und auf dem Felde. 

10 Und man häufte sie zusammen, hier einen Haufen und da einen Haufen, und das Land stank davon. 

11 Als aber der Pharao merkte, dass er Luft gekriegt hatte, verhärtete er sein Herz und hörte nicht auf sie, wie der HERR gesagt hatte. (2Mo 4,21) 

Die dritte Plage: Stechmücken

12 Und der HERR sprach zu Mose: Sage Aaron: Strecke deinen Stab aus und schlag in den Staub der Erde, dass er zu Stechmücken werde in ganz Ägyptenland. 

13 Sie taten so, und Aaron reckte seine Hand aus mit seinem Stabe und schlug in den Staub auf der Erde. Und es kamen Mücken und setzten sich an die Menschen und an das Vieh; aller Staub der Erde ward zu Mücken in ganz Ägyptenland. 

14 Die Zauberer taten ebenso mit ihren Künsten, um Mücken hervorzubringen; aber sie konnten es nicht. Und die Mücken waren sowohl an den Menschen als am Vieh. (2Mo 7,11) 

15 Da sprachen die Zauberer zum Pharao: Das ist Gottes Finger. Aber das Herz des Pharao wurde verstockt, und er hörte nicht auf sie, wie der HERR gesagt hatte. (Ps 64,10; Ps 72,18; Lk 11,20) 

Die vierte Plage: Ungeziefer

16 Und der HERR sprach zu Mose: Mach dich morgen früh auf und tritt vor den Pharao, wenn er hinaus ans Wasser geht, und sage zu ihm: So spricht der HERR: Lass mein Volk ziehen, dass es mir diene; (2Mo 5,1) 

17 wenn nicht, siehe, so will ich Ungeziefer kommen lassen über dich, deine Großen, dein Volk und dein Haus, dass die Häuser der Ägypter und das Land, auf dem sie wohnen, voller Ungeziefer werden sollen. 

18 An dem Lande Goschen aber, wo sich mein Volk aufhält, will ich an dem Tage etwas Besonderes tun, dass dort kein Ungeziefer sei, damit du innewirst, dass ich der HERR bin, inmitten dieses Landes, (2Mo 7,5) 

19 und ich will einen Unterschied machen zwischen meinem und deinem Volk. Morgen schon soll das Zeichen geschehen. 

20 Und der HERR tat so, und es kam viel Ungeziefer in das Haus des Pharao, in die Häuser seiner Großen und über ganz Ägyptenland, und das Land wurde verheert von dem Ungeziefer. 

21 Da ließ der Pharao Mose und Aaron rufen und sprach: Geht hin, opfert eurem Gott hier im Lande. 

22 Mose sprach: Das geht nicht an, denn was wir dem HERRN, unserm Gott, opfern, ist den Ägyptern ein Gräuel. Siehe, wenn wir vor ihren Augen opfern, was ihnen ein Gräuel ist, werden sie uns dann nicht steinigen? (1Mo 43,32; 1Mo 46,34) 

23 Drei Tagereisen weit wollen wir in die Wüste ziehen und dem HERRN, unserm Gott, opfern, wie er uns gesagt hat. (2Mo 3,18) 

24 Der Pharao sprach: Ich will euch ziehen lassen, dass ihr dem HERRN, eurem Gott, opfert in der Wüste. Nur zieht nicht zu weit und bittet für mich! (2Mo 4,1) 

25 Mose sprach: Siehe, wenn ich jetzt von dir hinausgegangen bin, so will ich den HERRN bitten, dass das Ungeziefer morgen vom Pharao und seinen Großen und seinem Volk weiche; nur täusche uns nicht abermals, dass du das Volk nicht ziehen lässt, dem HERRN zu opfern. 

26 Und Mose ging hinaus vom Pharao und bat den HERRN. (2Mo 8,1) 

27 Und der HERR tat, wie Mose gesagt hatte, und schaffte das Ungeziefer weg vom Pharao, von seinen Großen und von seinem Volk, sodass auch nicht eines übrig blieb. 

28 Aber der Pharao verhärtete sein Herz auch diesmal und ließ das Volk nicht ziehen. (2Mo 4,21)

1 ثُمَّ قَالَ الرَّبُّ لِمُوسَى: «امْثُلْ أَمَامَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَقُلْ لَهُ: هَذَا مَا يُعْلِنُهُ الرَّبُّ: أَطْلِقْ شَعْبِي لِيَعْبُدُونِي. 

2 وَإِنْ أَبَيْتَ أَنْ تُطْلِقَهُمْ فَهَا أَنَا ضَارِبٌ جَمِيعَ تُخُومِكَ بِالضَّفَادِعِ. 

3 فَيَفِيضُ النَّهْرُ بِالضَّفَادِعِ الَّتِي تَصْعَدُ وَتَقْتَحِمُ بَيْتَكَ وَمُخْدَعَ فِرَاشِكَ وَسَرِيرَكَ وَبُيُوتَ حَاشِيَتِكَ وَشَعْبِكَ وَأَفْرَانَكَ وَمَعَاجِنَكَ. 

4 عَلَيْكَ وَعَلَى شَعْبِكَ وَعَلَى سَائِرِ حَاشِيَتِكَ تَصْعَدُ الضَّفَادِعُ». 

5 ثُمَّ قَالَ الرَّبُّ لِمُوسَى: «قُلْ لِهَرُونَ ابْسُطْ يَدَكَ بِعَصَاكَ عَلَى الأَنْهَارِ وَالسَّوَاقِي وَالْبِرَكِ وَأَصْعِدِ الضَّفَادِعَ عَلَى كُلِّ أَرْضِ مِصْرَ». 

6 فَبَسَطَ هَرُونُ يَدَهُ عَلَى مِيَاهِ مِصْرَ فَأَقْبَلَتِ الضَّفَادِعُ وَغَطَّتْ أَرْضَ مِصْرَ. 

7 وَكَذَلِكَ فَعَلَ السَّحَرَةُ بِسِحْرِهِمْ فَأَصْعَدُوا ضَفَادِعَ عَلَى أَرْضِ مِصْرَ. 

8 ثُمَّ اسْتَدْعَى فِرْعَوْنُ مُوسَى وَهَرُونَ وَقَالَ: «تَضَرَّعَا إِلَى الرَّبِّ لِيَرْفَعَ الضَّفَادِعَ عَنِّي وَعَنْ شَعْبِي، فَأُطْلِقَ الشَّعْبَ لِيُقَدِّمُوا ذَبَائِحَ لَهُ». 

9 فَأَجَابَ مُوسَى فِرْعَوْنَ: «عَيِّنْ لِي مَتَى أُصَلِّي مِنْ أَجْلِكَ وَمِنْ أَجْلِ عَبِيدِكَ وَشَعْبِكَ، لِكَيْ تُبَادَ الضَّفَادِعُ عَنْكَ وَعَنْ بُيُوتِكَ، مَاعَدَا تِلْكَ الْبَاقِيَةَ فِي النَّهْرِ». 

10 فَقَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ: «غَداً». فَأَجَابَهُ مُوسَى: «فَلْيَكُنْ كَقَوْلِكَ، لِتَعْرِفَ أَنَّهُ لَا مَثِيلَ لِلرَّبِّ إِلَهِنَا. 

11 فَإِنَّ الضَّفَادِعَ سَتَنْسَحِبُ مِنْ حَوْلِكَ وَمِنْ بُيُوتِكَ وَمِنْ حَوْلِ حَاشِيَتِكَ وَشَعْبِكَ، وَلا تَبْقَى إلّا فِي النَّهْرِ». 

12 وَبَعْدَ أَنِ انْصَرَفَ مُوسَى وَهَرُونُ مِنْ لَدُنْ فِرْعَوْنَ صَلَّى مُوسَى إِلَى الرَّبِّ مِنْ أَجْلِ الضَّفَادِعِ الَّتِي أَصْعَدَهَا عَلَى فِرْعَوْنَ، 

13 فَفَعَلَ الرَّبُّ حَسَبَ دُعَاءِ مُوسَى، فَانْقَطَعَتِ الضَّفَادِعُ مِنَ الْبُيُوتِ وَالدُّورِ وَالْحُقُولِ، 

14 فَجمَعُوهَا أَكْوَاماً كَثِيَرةً حَتَّى أَنْتَنَتْ مِنْهَا الأَرْضُ. 

15 وَعِنْدَمَا رَأَى فِرْعَوْنُ أَنَّ الْبَلِيَّةَ قَدِ انْقَشَعَتْ، أَغْلَظَ قَلْبَهُ وَلَمْ يَسْتَمِعْ لَهُمَا، تَمَاماً كَمَا قَالَ الرَّبُّ. 

ضربة البعوض

16 فَقَالَ الرَّبُّ لِمُوسَى: «قُلْ لِهَرُونَ أَنْ يَبْسُطَ يَدَهُ بِعَصَاهُ وَيَضْرِبَ تُرَابَ الأَرْضِ لِيَملأَ الْبَعُوضُ كُلَّ أَرْجَاءِ مِصْرَ». 

17 وَهَكَذَا فَعَلا، إِذْ بَسَطَ هَرُونُ يَدَهُ بِعَصَاهُ وَضَرَبَ تُرَابَ الأَرْضِ، فَانْتَشَرَ الْبَعُوضُ عَلَى النَّاسِ وَالْبَهَائِمِ. فَصَارَ كُلُّ تُرَابِ الأَرْضِ بَعُوضاً فِي جَمِيعِ أَرْجَاءِ مِصْرَ. 

18 وَكَذَلِكَ حَاوَلَ السَّحَرَةُ بِسِحْرِهِمْ لِيُخْرِجُوا الْبَعُوضَ فَأَخْفَقُوا. وَكَانَ الْبَعُوضُ مُنْتَشِراً عَلَى النَّاسِ وَالْبَهَائِمِ. 

19 فَقَالَ السَّحَرَةُ لِفِرْعَوْنَ «إِنَّهُ فِعْلُ اللهِ». وَلَكِنَّ قَلْبَ فِرْعَوْنَ ظَلَّ مُتَصَلِّباً فَلَمْ يَسْمَعْ لَهُمَا، تَمَاماً كَمَا قَالَ الرَّبُّ. 

ضربة الذباب

20 ثُمَّ قَالَ الرَّبُّ لِمُوسَى: «انْهَضْ مُبَكِّراً فِي الصَّبَاحِ وَقِفْ أَمَامَ فِرْعَوْنَ عِنْدَ خُرُوجِهِ إِلَى الْمَاءِ وَقُلْ لَهُ: هَكَذَا يَقُولُ الرَّبُّ: أَطْلِقْ شَعْبِي لِيَعْبُدُونِي. 

21 وَإِنْ لَمْ تُطْلِقْ شَعْبِي فَهَا أَنَا أُرْسِلُ أَسْرَابَ الذُّبَابِ عَلَيْكَ وَعَلَى حَاشِيَتِكَ وَعَلَى شَعْبِكَ وَعَلَى بُيُوتِكَ، فَتَمْتَلِئُ بُيُوتُ الْمِصْرِيِّينَ بِالذُّبَابِ، وَكَذَلِكَ الأَرْضُ الَّتِي يُقِيمُونَ عَلَيْهَا. 

22 وَلَكِنِّي فِي ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمِ أَسْتَثْنِي أَرْضَ جَاسَانَ حَيْثُ يَسْكُنُ شَعْبِي فَلا يَغْزُوهَا الذُّبَابُ، فَتُدْرِكُ أَنَّنِي، أَنَا الرَّبَّ، كَائِنٌ فِي هَذِهِ الأَرْضِ. 

23 وَأُمَيِّزُ بَيْنَ شَعْبِي وَشَعْبِكَ، فَتَكُونُ هَذِهِ آيَةَ الْغَدِ». 

24 وَهَكَذَا صَنَعَ الرَّبُّ، فَقَدْ غَزَتْ أَسْرَابٌ عَظِيمَةٌ مِنَ الذُّبَابِ بَيْتَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَبُيُوتَ حَاشِيَتِهِ، وَكُلَّ أَرْضِ مِصْرَ فَأَصَابَ الذُّبَابُ الأَرْضَ بِالْخَرَابِ. 

25 فَاسْتَدْعَى فِرْعَوْنُ مُوسَى وَهَرُونَ وَقَالَ: «امْضُوا وَقَدِّمُوا ذَبِيحَةً لإِلَهِكُمْ فِي هَذِهِ الأَرْضِ». 

26 فَأَجَابَ مُوسَى: «لَيْسَ مُسْتَحْسَناً أَنْ نَفْعَلَ هَذَا، لأَنَّ الذَّبَائِحَ الَّتِي نُقَدِّمُهَا لِلرَّبِّ إِلَهِنَا هِي رِجْسٌ لَدَى الْمِصْرِيِّينَ. فَإِنْ قَدَّمْنَا هَذِهِ الذَّبَائِحَ الَّتِي يَكْرَهُهَا الْمِصْرِيُّونَ، أَلا يَرْجُمُونَنَا؟ 

27 لَكِنْ نَذْهَبُ مَسِيرَةَ ثَلاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ فِي الصَّحْرَاءِ، فَنُقَدِّمُ ذَبَائِحَ لِلرَّبِّ إِلَهِنَا كَمَا أَمَرَنَا». 

28 فَقَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ: «سَأُطْلِقُكُمْ لِتُقَرِّبُوا لِلرَّبِّ إِلَهِكُمْ فِي الصَّحْرَاءِ، وَلَكِنْ لَا تَذْهَبُوا بَعِيداً. صَلِّيَا لأَجْلِي». 

29 فَأَجَابَ مُوسَى: «حَالَمَا أَنْصَرِفُ أُصَلِّي إِلَى الرَّبِّ. وَغَداً يَرْتَفِعُ الذُّبَابُ عَنْ فِرْعَوْنَ وَعَنْ حَاشِيَتِهِ وَعَنْ شَعْبِهِ. وَلَكِنْ عَلَى فِرْعَوْنَ أَلّا يُخَادِعَ، بَلْ يُطْلِقَ الشَّعْبَ لِيُقَدِّمَ لِلرَّبِّ ذَبَائِحَ». 

30 وَفَارَقَ مُوسَى فِرْعَوْنَ وَصَلَّى إِلَى الرَّبِّ، 

31 فَاسْتَجَابَ الرَّبُّ دُعَاءَ مُوسَى، فَارْتَفَعَ الذُّبَابُ عَنْ فِرْعَوْنَ وَعَنْ حَاشِيَتِهِ وَعَنْ شَعْبِهِ. لَمْ تَبْقَ ذُبَابَةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ. 

32 وَلَكِنَّ فِرْعَوْنَ قَسَّى قَلْبَهُ هَذِهِ الْمَرَّةَ أَيْضاً وَلَمْ يُطْلِقْ الشَّعْبَ.

New International Version

1  Then the Lord said to Moses, ‘Go to Pharaoh and say to him, “This is what the Lord says: let my people go, so that they may worship me. 

2 If you refuse to let them go, I will send a plague of frogs on your whole country. 

3 The Nile will teem with frogs. They will come up into your palace and your bedroom and onto your bed, into the houses of your officials and on your people, and into your ovens and kneading troughs. 

4 The frogs will come up on you and your people and all your officials.” ’ 

5 Then the Lord said to Moses, ‘Tell Aaron, “Stretch out your hand with your staff over the streams and canals and ponds, and make frogs come up on the land of Egypt.” ’ 

6 So Aaron stretched out his hand over the waters of Egypt, and the frogs came up and covered the land. 

7 But the magicians did the same things by their secret arts; they also made frogs come up on the land of Egypt. 

8 Pharaoh summoned Moses and Aaron and said, ‘Pray to the Lord to take the frogs away from me and my people, and I will let your people go to offer sacrifices to the Lord.’ 

9 Moses said to Pharaoh, ‘I leave to you the honour of setting the time for me to pray for you and your officials and your people that you and your houses may be rid of the frogs, except for those that remain in the Nile.’ 

10 ‘Tomorrow,’ Pharaoh said. Moses replied, ‘It will be as you say, so that you may know there is no-one like the Lord our God. 

11 The frogs will leave you and your houses, your officials and your people; they will remain only in the Nile.’ 

12 After Moses and Aaron left Pharaoh, Moses cried out to the Lord about the frogs he had brought on Pharaoh. 

13 And the Lord did what Moses asked. The frogs died in the houses, in the courtyards and in the fields. 

14 They were piled into heaps, and the land reeked of them. 

15 But when Pharaoh saw that there was relief, he hardened his heart and would not listen to Moses and Aaron, just as the Lord had said. 

The plague of gnats

16 Then the Lord said to Moses, ‘Tell Aaron, “Stretch out your staff and strike the dust of the ground,” and throughout the land of Egypt the dust will become gnats.’ 

17 They did this, and when Aaron stretched out his hand with the staff and struck the dust of the ground, gnats came on people and animals. All the dust throughout the land of Egypt became gnats. 

18 But when the magicians tried to produce gnats by their secret arts, they could not. Since the gnats were on people and animals everywhere, 

19 the magicians said to Pharaoh, ‘This is the finger of God.’ But Pharaoh’s heart was hard and he would not listen, just as the Lord had said. 

The plague of flies

20 Then the Lord said to Moses, ‘Get up early in the morning and confront Pharaoh as he goes to the river and say to him, “This is what the Lord says: let my people go, so that they may worship me. 

21 If you do not let my people go, I will send swarms of flies on you and your officials, on your people and into your houses. The houses of the Egyptians will be full of flies; even the ground will be covered with them. 

22 ‘ “But on that day I will deal differently with the land of Goshen, where my people live; no swarms of flies will be there, so that you will know that I, the Lord, am in this land. 

23 I will make a distinction between my people and your people. This sign will occur tomorrow.” ’ 

24 And the Lord did this. Dense swarms of flies poured into Pharaoh’s palace and into the houses of his officials; throughout Egypt the land was ruined by the flies. 

25 Then Pharaoh summoned Moses and Aaron and said, ‘Go, sacrifice to your God here in the land.’ 

26 But Moses said, ‘That would not be right. The sacrifices we offer the Lord our God would be detestable to the Egyptians. And if we offer sacrifices that are detestable in their eyes, will they not stone us? 

27 We must take a three-day journey into the wilderness to offer sacrifices to the Lord our God, as he commands us.’ 

28 Pharaoh said, ‘I will let you go to offer sacrifices to the Lord your God in the wilderness, but you must not go very far. Now pray for me.’ 

29 Moses answered, ‘As soon as I leave you, I will pray to the Lord, and tomorrow the flies will leave Pharaoh and his officials and his people. Only let Pharaoh be sure that he does not act deceitfully again by not letting the people go to offer sacrifices to the Lord.’ 

30 Then Moses left Pharaoh and prayed to the Lord, 

31 and the Lord did what Moses asked. The flies left Pharaoh and his officials and his people; not a fly remained. 

32 But this time also Pharaoh hardened his heart and would not let the people go.

5 Вечный сказал Мусе: – Скажи Харуну: «Занеси руку с посохом над реками, каналами и прудами и наведи жаб на египетскую землю». 

6 Харун занёс руку с посохом над водами Египта, и вылезли жабы и заполнили всю землю. 

7 Но чародеи с помощью колдовства сделали то же самое. Они тоже навели жаб на Египет. 

8 Фараон позвал Мусу и Харуна и сказал: – Помолитесь Вечному, чтобы Он избавил от жаб меня и мой народ, и я отпущу исраильтян принести жертву Вечному. 

9 Муса сказал фараону: – Я предоставляю тебе честь выбрать, когда мне помолиться за тебя, за твоих приближённых и народ. После этого жабы уйдут от тебя и из твоих дворцов и останутся только в Ниле. 

10 – Завтра, – сказал фараон. Муса ответил: – Будет по-твоему для того, чтобы ты узнал: нет никого, подобного Вечному, нашему Богу. 

11 Жабы уйдут от тебя и из твоего дворца, от твоих приближённых и народа. Они останутся только в Ниле. 

12 Муса и Харун ушли от фараона, и Муса воззвал к Вечному о жабах, которых Он навёл на фараона. 

13 Вечный исполнил просьбу Мусы. Жабы вымерли в домах, во дворах и на полях. 

14 Их собирали в кучи, и земля начала испускать зловоние. 

15 Но когда фараон увидел, что пришло облегчение, его сердце исполнилось упрямством, и он опять не послушал Мусу и Харуна, как и говорил Вечный. 

Третье наказание: комары

16 Вечный сказал Мусе: – Скажи Харуну: «Подними посох и ударь по пыли на земле: по всему Египту пыль превратится в комаров». 

17 Они сделали так. Харун поднял руку с посохом, ударил по пыли. Пыль по всему Египту превратилась в комаров. Комары налетели и на людей, и на скот. 

18 Чародеи попытались с помощью колдовства навести комаров, но не смогли. Комары облепляли людей и скотину. 

19 И тогда чародеи сказали фараону: – Это сделал Всевышний. Но сердце фараона оставалось упрямым. Он не послушал чародеев, как и говорил Вечный. 

Четвёртое наказание: мухи

20 Вечный сказал Мусе: – Поднимись завтра рано утром, встань перед фараоном, когда он пойдёт к реке, и скажи ему: Так говорит Вечный: «Отпусти Мой народ поклониться Мне. 

21 Если не отпустишь, Я пошлю на тебя, на твоих приближённых, на твой народ и в твои дворцы рои мух. Дома египтян наполнятся мухами и вся земля будет покрыта ими. 

22 Но Я сделаю так, что в земле Гошен, где живёт Мой народ, не будет мух, чтобы ты знал – Я, Вечный, пребываю в той земле. 

23 Я покажу тебе разницу между Моим и твоим народом. Это знамение будет завтра». 

24 Вечный так и сделал. Густые рои мух налетели во дворец фараона и в дома его приближённых. Из-за мух погибала вся египетская земля. 

25 Фараон позвал Мусу и Харуна и сказал: – Идите, принесите жертву вашему Богу, но только в этой стране, в Египте. 

26 Но Муса сказал: – Так делать нельзя. Наши жертвоприношения Вечному, нашему Богу, для египтян – мерзость. Если мы станем совершать обряд жертвоприношения, который противен им, у них на глазах, то они забьют нас камнями. 

27 Нет, чтобы принести жертву Вечному, нашему Богу, как Он велел, нам нужно удалиться на три дня в пустыню. 

28 Фараон сказал: – Я отпущу вас принести жертву Вечному, вашему Богу, в пустыню, но только не уходите далеко. Помолитесь и обо мне. 

29 Муса ответил: – Как только я уйду от тебя, я помолюсь Вечному, и завтра мухи оставят тебя, твоих приближённых и народ. Но и ты больше не обманывай, не отпуская народ принести жертву Вечному. 

30 Муса ушёл от фараона и помолился Вечному. 

31 Вечный сделал то, что просил Муса: избавил фараона, его приближённых и народ от мух. Ни одной мухи не осталось. 

32 Но и на этот раз сердце фараона осталось упрямым, и он не отпустил народ.
