1 Das ist mir lieb, dass der HERR meine Stimme und mein Flehen hört. 2 Denn er neigte sein Ohr zu mir; darum will ich mein Leben lang ihn anrufen. 3 Stricke des Todes hatten mich umfangen, / des Totenreichs Schrecken hatten mich getroffen; ich kam in Jammer und Not. 4 Aber ich rief an den Namen des HERRN: Ach, HERR, errette mich! 5 Der HERR ist gnädig und gerecht, und unser Gott ist barmherzig. 6 Der HERR behütet die Unmündigen; wenn ich schwach bin, so hilft er mir. 7 Sei nun wieder zufrieden, meine Seele; denn der HERR tut dir Gutes. (Ps 42,6) 8 Denn du hast meine Seele vom Tode errettet, mein Auge von den Tränen, meinen Fuß vom Gleiten. 9 Ich werde wandeln vor dem HERRN im Lande der Lebendigen. (Ps 142,6) 10 Ich glaube, auch wenn ich sage: Ich werde sehr geplagt. 11 Ich sprach in meinem Zagen: Alle Menschen sind Lügner. (Röm 3,4) 12 Wie soll ich dem HERRN vergelten all seine Wohltat, die er an mir tut? 13 Ich will den Kelch des Heils erheben und des HERRN Namen anrufen. 14 Ich will meine Gelübde dem HERRN erfüllen vor all seinem Volk. 15 Der Tod seiner Heiligen wiegt schwer vor dem HERRN. (Ps 72,14) 16 Ach, HERR, ich bin ja dein Knecht, / ich bin dein Knecht, der Sohn deiner Magd; du hast meine Bande zerrissen. 17 Dir will ich Dankopfer bringen und des HERRN Namen anrufen. (Jon 2,10) 18 Ich will meine Gelübde dem HERRN erfüllen vor all seinem Volk 19 in den Vorhöfen am Hause des HERRN, in deiner Mitte, Jerusalem. Halleluja!

King James Version

1 I love the LORD, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications. 2 Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live. 3 The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow. 4 Then called I upon the name of the LORD; O LORD, I beseech thee, deliver my soul. 5 Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful. 6 The LORD preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me. 7 Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee. 8 For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling. 9 I will walk before the LORD in the land of the living. 10 I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted: 11 I said in my haste, All men are liars. 12 What shall I render unto the LORD for all his benefits toward me? 13 I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD. 14 I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people. 15 Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints. 16 O LORD, truly I am thy servant; I am thy servant, and the son of thine handmaid: thou hast loosed my bonds. 17 I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the LORD. 18 I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people, 19 In the courts of the LORD' house, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Praise ye the LORD.
