Die Verheißung für die Berge Israels

1 Und du, Menschenkind, weissage den Bergen Israels und sprich: Hört des HERRN Wort, ihr Berge Israels! (Hes 6,2) 2 So spricht Gott der HERR: Weil der Feind über euch frohlockt: »Ha, die ewigen Höhen sind nun unser Besitz geworden!«, (Hes 25,3; Hes 35,10) 3 darum weissage und sprich: So spricht Gott der HERR: Weil man euch allenthalben verwüstet und vertilgt und ihr zum Besitz der übrig gebliebenen Völker geworden und übel ins Gerede der Leute gekommen seid, 4 darum hört, ihr Berge Israels, das Wort Gottes des HERRN! So spricht Gott der HERR zu den Bergen und Hügeln, zu den Bächen und Tälern, zu den öden Trümmern und verlassenen Städten, die den übrig gebliebenen Völkern ringsumher zum Raub und Spott geworden sind, – 5 darum, so spricht Gott der HERR: Wahrlich, ich habe in meinem feurigen Eifer geredet gegen die Völker, die übrig geblieben sind, und gegen ganz Edom, die mein Land in Besitz genommen haben mit Freude von ganzem Herzen und mit Hohnlachen, um es zu verheeren und zu plündern. (Hes 35,15) 6 Darum weissage über das Land Israels und sprich zu den Bergen und Hügeln, zu den Bächen und Tälern: So spricht Gott der HERR: Siehe, ich rede in meinem Eifer und Grimm, weil ihr solche Schmach von den Völkern tragen musstet. 7 Darum, so spricht Gott der HERR: Ich hebe meine Hand auf zum Schwur: Wahrlich, eure Nachbarn, die Völker ringsumher, sie selbst müssen ihre Schande tragen. 8 Aber ihr Berge Israels sollt wieder grünen und eure Frucht bringen meinem Volk Israel, denn bald sollen sie heimkehren. 9 Denn siehe, ich will mich wieder zu euch kehren und euch mein Angesicht zuwenden, dass ihr angebaut und besät werdet. 10 Und ich will viele Menschen auf euch wohnen lassen, das ganze Haus Israel insgesamt, und die Städte sollen wieder bewohnt und die Trümmer aufgebaut werden. 11 Ja, ich lasse Menschen und Vieh auf euch zahlreich werden; sie sollen sich mehren und fruchtbar sein. Und ich will euch wieder bewohnt sein lassen wie früher und will euch mehr Gutes tun als je zuvor, und ihr sollt erfahren, dass ich der HERR bin. (3Mo 26,9) 12 Ich will wieder Menschen über euch ziehen lassen, nämlich mein Volk Israel; die werden dich besitzen und du sollst ihr Erbteil sein und ihnen die Kinder nicht mehr nehmen. (Hes 5,17) 13 So spricht Gott der HERR: Weil man das von euch sagt: »Du hast Menschen gefressen und deinem Volk die Kinder genommen«, 14 darum sollst du nun nicht mehr Menschen fressen und deinem Volk nicht mehr die Kinder nehmen, spricht Gott der HERR. 15 Und ich will dich nicht mehr die Schmähungen der Völker hören lassen, und du sollst den Spott der Völker nicht mehr tragen und sollst deinem Volk nicht mehr die Kinder nehmen, spricht Gott der HERR.

Die Erneuerung Israels durch Gottes Geist

16 Und des HERRN Wort geschah zu mir: 17 Du Menschenkind, als das Haus Israel in seinem Lande wohnte und es unrein machte mit seinem Wandel und Tun, dass ihr Wandel vor mir war wie die Unreinheit einer Frau, wenn sie ihre Tage hat, (3Mo 18,24) 18 da schüttete ich meinen Grimm über sie aus um des Blutes willen, das sie im Lande vergossen, und weil sie es unrein gemacht hatten durch ihre Götzen. 19 Und ich zerstreute sie unter die Völker und versprengte sie in die Länder und richtete sie nach ihrem Wandel und Tun. 20 So kamen sie zu den Völkern; aber wohin sie kamen, entheiligten sie meinen heiligen Namen, weil man von ihnen sagte: »Sie sind des HERRN Volk und mussten doch aus ihrem Lande fortziehen!« (Jes 52,5) 21 Da tat es mir leid um meinen heiligen Namen, den das Haus Israel entheiligte unter den Völkern, wohin sie auch kamen. (Hes 20,9) 22 Darum sollst du zum Hause Israel sagen: So spricht Gott der HERR: Ich tue es nicht um euretwillen, ihr vom Hause Israel, sondern um meines heiligen Namens willen, den ihr entheiligt habt unter den Völkern, wohin ihr auch gekommen seid. (Jes 48,11; Jer 14,7; Hes 20,44) 23 Denn ich will meinen großen Namen, der vor den Völkern entheiligt ist, den ihr unter ihnen entheiligt habt, wieder heilig machen. Und die Völker sollen erfahren, dass ich der HERR bin, spricht Gott der HERR, wenn ich vor ihren Augen an euch zeige, dass ich heilig bin. (Hes 37,28; Hes 38,16; Hes 39,7; Mt 6,9)

24 Denn ich will euch aus den Völkern herausholen und euch aus allen Ländern sammeln und wieder in euer Land bringen, 25 und ich will reines Wasser über euch sprengen, dass ihr rein werdet; von all eurer Unreinheit und von allen euren Götzen will ich euch reinigen. (Sach 13,1; Hebr 10,22) 26 Und ich will euch ein neues Herz und einen neuen Geist in euch geben und will das steinerne Herz aus eurem Fleisch wegnehmen und euch ein fleischernes Herz geben. (Jer 31,33; Hes 11,19) 27 Ich will meinen Geist in euch geben und will solche Leute aus euch machen, die in meinen Geboten wandeln und meine Rechte halten und danach tun. (Jes 44,3; Hes 37,24; Hes 39,29) 28 Und ihr sollt wohnen im Lande, das ich euren Vätern gegeben habe, und sollt mein Volk sein, und ich will euer Gott sein. (Hes 11,20) 29 Ich will euch von all eurer Unreinheit erlösen und will das Korn rufen und will es mehren und will keine Hungersnot über euch kommen lassen. 30 Ich will die Früchte der Bäume und den Ertrag des Feldes mehren, dass euch die Völker nicht mehr verspotten, weil ihr hungern müsst. (Hes 34,29) 31 Dann werdet ihr an euren bösen Wandel denken und an euer Tun, das nicht gut war, und werdet euch selbst zuwider sein um eurer Sünde und eurer Gräuel willen. (Hes 20,43) 32 Nicht um euretwillen tue ich das, spricht Gott der HERR, das sollt ihr wissen, sondern ihr werdet euch schämen müssen und schamrot werden, ihr vom Hause Israel, über euren Wandel. 33 So spricht Gott der HERR: Zu der Zeit, wenn ich euch reinigen werde von allen euren Sünden, will ich die Städte wieder bewohnt sein lassen, und die Trümmer sollen wieder aufgebaut werden. 34 Das verwüstete Land soll wieder gepflügt werden, nachdem es verheert war vor den Augen aller, die vorübergingen. 35 Und man wird sagen: Dies Land war verheert und jetzt ist’s wie der Garten Eden, und diese Städte waren zerstört, öde und niedergerissen und stehen nun fest gebaut und sind bewohnt. 36 Und die Völker, die um euch her übrig geblieben sind, sollen erfahren, dass ich der HERR bin, der da baut, was niedergerissen ist, und pflanzt, was verheert war. Ich, der HERR, sage es und tue es auch. (Jer 31,28; Hes 17,24) 37 So spricht Gott der HERR: Auch darin will ich mich vom Hause Israel bitten lassen, dass ich dies ihnen tue: Ich will die Menschen bei ihnen mehren wie eine Herde. (Mi 2,12) 38 Wie eine heilige Herde, wie eine Herde in Jerusalem an ihren Festen, so sollen die verwüsteten Städte voll Menschenherden werden, und sie sollen erfahren, dass ich der HERR bin.

Prophecy to the Mountains of Israel

1 “And you, son of man, prophesy to the mountains of Israel, and say, O mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord. (Hes 2,1; Hes 6,2) 2 Thus says the Lord God: Because the enemy said of you, ‘Aha!’ and, ‘The ancient heights have become our possession,’ (5Mo 32,13; Hes 25,3; Hes 26,2; Hes 35,10; Hes 35,12; Hes 36,5)

3 therefore prophesy, and say, Thus says the Lord God: Precisely because they made you desolate and crushed you from all sides, so that you became the possession of the rest of the nations, and you became the talk and evil gossip of the people, (Kla 2,15; Hes 6,3) 4 therefore, O mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord God: Thus says the Lord God to the mountains and the hills, the ravines and the valleys, the desolate wastes and the deserted cities, which have become a prey and derision to the rest of the nations all around, (Hes 6,3; Hes 7,21; Hes 33,24; Hes 33,27)

5 therefore thus says the Lord God: Surely I have spoken in my hot jealousy against the rest of the nations and against all Edom, who gave my land to themselves as a possession with wholehearted joy and utter contempt, that they might make its pasturelands a prey. 6 Therefore prophesy concerning the land of Israel, and say to the mountains and hills, to the ravines and valleys, Thus says the Lord God: Behold, I have spoken in my jealous wrath, because you have suffered the reproach of the nations. (Hes 32,24; Hes 36,1; Hes 36,5) 7 Therefore thus says the Lord God: I swear that the nations that are all around you shall themselves suffer reproach. 12 I will let people walk on you, even my people Israel. And they shall possess you, and you shall be their inheritance, and you shall no longer bereave them of children. (Hes 5,17; Ob 1,17) 13 Thus says the Lord God: Because they say to you, ‘You devour people, and you bereave your nation of children,’ (4Mo 13,32) 14 therefore you shall no longer devour people and no longer bereave your nation of children, declares the Lord God. 15 And I will not let you hear anymore the reproach of the nations, and you shall no longer bear the disgrace of the peoples and no longer cause your nation to stumble, declares the Lord God.” (Hes 36,6)

The Lord’s Concern for His Holy Name

16 The word of the Lord came to me: 17 “Son of man, when the house of Israel lived in their own land, they defiled it by their ways and their deeds. Their ways before me were like the uncleanness of a woman in her menstrual impurity. (3Mo 18,19; 3Mo 18,25; Hes 2,1) 18 So I poured out my wrath upon them for the blood that they had shed in the land, for the idols with which they had defiled it. 19 I scattered them among the nations, and they were dispersed through the countries. In accordance with their ways and their deeds I judged them. (Hes 5,10; Hes 18,30) 20 But when they came to the nations, wherever they came, they profaned my holy name, in that people said of them, ‘These are the people of the Lord, and yet they had to go out of his land.’ (Jes 52,5; Hes 22,26; Röm 2,24) 21 But I had concern for my holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the nations to which they came. I Will Put My Spirit Within You

22 “Therefore say to the house of Israel, Thus says the Lord God: It is not for your sake, O house of Israel, that I am about to act, but for the sake of my holy name, which you have profaned among the nations to which you came. (5Mo 9,5; Hes 36,20; Hes 36,32) 23 And I will vindicate the holiness of my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, and which you have profaned among them. And the nations will know that I am the Lord, declares the Lord God, when through you I vindicate my holiness before their eyes. 26 And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. (Hes 36,9; Hes 36,25) 34 And the land that was desolate shall be tilled, instead of being the desolation that it was in the sight of all who passed by. 35 And they will say, ‘This land that was desolate has become like the garden of Eden, and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are now fortified and inhabited.’ (Jes 51,3) 36 Then the nations that are left all around you shall know that I am the Lord; I have rebuilt the ruined places and replanted that which was desolate. I am the Lord; I have spoken, and I will do it.
