2.Mose 24

Lutherbibel 2017

(2Mo 34,28)

English Standard Version

von Crossway
1 Then he said to Moses, “Come up to the Lord, you and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel, and worship from afar. (2Mo 6,23; 2Mo 28,1; 4Mo 11,16)2 Moses alone shall come near to the Lord, but the others shall not come near, and the people shall not come up with him.” (2Mo 24,13; 2Mo 24,15; 2Mo 24,18)3 Moses came and told the people all the words of the Lord and all the rules.[1] And all the people answered with one voice and said, “All the words that the Lord has spoken we will do.” (2Mo 19,8; 2Mo 21,1; 5Mo 5,27)4 And Moses wrote down all the words of the Lord. He rose early in the morning and built an altar at the foot of the mountain, and twelve pillars, according to the twelve tribes of Israel. (1Mo 28,18; 1Mo 31,45; 2Mo 23,24; 5Mo 31,9)5 And he sent young men of the people of Israel, who offered burnt offerings and sacrificed peace offerings of oxen to the Lord.6 And Moses took half of the blood and put it in basins, and half of the blood he threw against the altar. (Hebr 9,18)7 Then he took the Book of the Covenant and read it in the hearing of the people. And they said, “All that the Lord has spoken we will do, and we will be obedient.” (2Mo 24,3)8 And Moses took the blood and threw it on the people and said, “Behold the blood of the covenant that the Lord has made with you in accordance with all these words.” (Hebr 9,19; Hebr 13,20; 1Petr 1,2)9 Then Moses and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel went up, (2Mo 24,1; 4Mo 11,16)10 and they saw the God of Israel. There was under his feet as it were a pavement of sapphire stone, like the very heaven for clearness. (1Mo 32,30; 2Mo 33,20; 2Mo 33,23; Ri 13,22; Jes 6,1; Jes 6,5; Hes 1,26; Hes 10,1; Joh 1,18; 1Tim 6,16; 1Joh 4,12; 1Joh 4,20)11 And he did not lay his hand on the chief men of the people of Israel; they beheld God, and ate and drank. (1Mo 31,54; 2Mo 18,12)12 The Lord said to Moses, “Come up to me on the mountain and wait there, that I may give you the tablets of stone, with the law and the commandment, which I have written for their instruction.” (2Mo 24,2; 2Mo 24,15; 2Mo 24,18; 2Mo 31,18; 2Mo 32,15; 5Mo 5,22)13 So Moses rose with his assistant Joshua, and Moses went up into the mountain of God. (2Mo 3,1; 2Mo 17,9; 2Mo 33,11)14 And he said to the elders, “Wait here for us until we return to you. And behold, Aaron and Hur are with you. Whoever has a dispute, let him go to them.” (2Mo 17,10; 2Mo 17,12; 2Mo 31,2)15 Then Moses went up on the mountain, and the cloud covered the mountain. (2Mo 19,9; 2Mo 19,16; Mt 17,5)16 The glory of the Lord dwelt on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days. And on the seventh day he called to Moses out of the midst of the cloud. (2Mo 16,10; 3Mo 9,23; 4Mo 14,10; 4Mo 16,42)17 Now the appearance of the glory of the Lord was like a devouring fire on the top of the mountain in the sight of the people of Israel. (2Mo 3,2; 2Mo 19,18; 5Mo 4,36; Hebr 12,18; Hebr 12,29)18 Moses entered the cloud and went up on the mountain. And Moses was on the mountain forty days and forty nights. (2Mo 34,28; 5Mo 9,9; 5Mo 9,18; 5Mo 9,25; 5Mo 10,10)

King James Version

1 And he said unto Moses, Come up unto the LORD, thou, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel; and worship ye afar off.2 And Moses alone shall come near the LORD: but they shall not come nigh; neither shall the people go up with him.3 And Moses came and told the people all the words of the LORD, and all the judgments: and all the people answered with one voice, and said, All the words which the LORD hath said will we do.4 And Moses wrote all the words of the LORD, and rose up early in the morning, and builded an altar under the hill, and twelve pillars, according to the twelve tribes of Israel.5 And he sent young men of the children of Israel, which offered burnt offerings, and sacrificed peace offerings of oxen unto the LORD.6 And Moses took half of the blood, and put it in basons; and half of the blood he sprinkled on the altar.7 And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the LORD hath said will we do, and be obedient.8 And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which the LORD hath made with you concerning all these words.9 Then went up Moses, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel:10 And they saw the God of Israel: and there was under his feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as it were the body of heaven in his clearness.11 And upon the nobles of the children of Israel he laid not his hand: also they saw God, and did eat and drink.12 And the LORD said unto Moses, Come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give thee tables of stone, and a law, and commandments which I have written; that thou mayest teach them.13 And Moses rose up, and his minister Joshua: and Moses went up into the mount of God.14 And he said unto the elders, Tarry ye here for us, until we come again unto you: and, behold, Aaron and Hur are with you: if any man have any matters to do, let him come unto them.15 And Moses went up into the mount, and a cloud covered the mount.16 And the glory of the LORD abode upon mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days: and the seventh day he called unto Moses out of the midst of the cloud.17 And the sight of the glory of the LORD was like devouring fire on the top of the mount in the eyes of the children of Israel.18 And Moses went into the midst of the cloud, and gat him up into the mount: and Moses was in the mount forty days and forty nights.
