1The LORD reigneth; let the people tremble: he sitteth between the cherubims; let the earth be moved.2The LORD is great in Zion; and he is high above all the people.3Let them praise thy great and terrible name; for it is holy.4The king' strength also loveth judgment; thou dost establish equity, thou executest judgment and righteousness in Jacob.5Exalt ye the LORD our God, and worship at his footstool; for he is holy.6Moses and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among them that call upon his name; they called upon the LORD, and he answered them.7He spake unto them in the cloudy pillar: they kept his testimonies, and the ordinance that he gave them.8Thou answeredst them, O LORD our God: thou wast a God that forgavest them, though thou tookest vengeance of their inventions.9Exalt the LORD our God, and worship at his holy hill; for the LORD our God is holy.
1Jahwe ist König – es zittern die Völker. / Er thront über Cherubim – es bebt die Erde.2Groß ist Jahwe in der Zionsstadt, / über alle Völker erhaben.3Preisen sollen sie deinen großen, furchtgebietenden Namen: / Heilig ist er!4Die Macht des Königs ist das Recht, das er liebt. / Du hast die Ordnungen festgesetzt, / Recht und Gerechtigkeit in Israel bewirkt.5Rühmt Jahwe, unseren Gott, / fallt nieder am Schemel seiner Füße! / Heilig ist er.6Mose und Aaron waren seine Priester, / auch Samuel rief seinen Namen an. / Sie riefen zu Jahwe und er gab ihnen Antwort.7Aus der Wolkensäule sprach er zu ihnen. / Sie hielten seine Gebote und die Ordnung, die er ihnen gab.8Jahwe, unser Gott, du gabst ihnen Antwort. / Du warst ihnen ein vergebender Gott, / doch ihre Vergehen hast du bestraft.9Rühmt Jahwe, unseren Gott, / fallt nieder an seinem heiligen Berg! / Denn heilig ist Jahwe, unser Gott.

C’est toi qui as établi l’équité, et qui as déterminé en Jacob ╵le droit et la justice.5Proclamez la grandeur ╵de l’Eternel, lui notre Dieu, prosternez-vous devant son marchepied, car il est saint.6Moïse avec Aaron étaient de ses prêtres[1], et Samuel était de ceux qui l’invoquaient[2]. Oui, ils invoquaient l’Eternel, ╵et lui les exauçait.
