1A Psalm of David, when he changed his behaviour before Abimelech; who drove him away, and he departed. I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.2My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof , and be glad.3O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.4I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.5They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.6This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him , and saved him out of all his troubles.7The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.8O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.9O fear the LORD, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.10The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing .11Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the LORD.12What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good?13Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.14Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.15The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.16The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.17The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.18The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.19Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.20He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.21Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.22The LORD redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.

(1Sa 21:11)2Jahwe will ich preisen allezeit, / immer sei sein Lob in meinem Mund.3Aus tiefster Seele lobe ich Jahwe. / Die Mutlosen hören es und freuen sich.4Erhebt Jahwe mit mir, / lasst uns gemeinsam ihn ehren!5Ich suchte Jahwe, und er hat mich erhört, / hat mich von meinen Ängsten befreit.6Wer auf ihn blickt, wird strahlen; / sein Vertrauen wird niemals enttäuscht.7Der Hilflose rief, und Jahwe hörte / und hat ihn gerettet aus seiner Not.8Wer Jahwe fürchtet und ehrt, / den umgibt sein schützender Engel / und befreit ihn.9Schmeckt und seht wie gütig Jahwe ist![3] / Glücklich der Mensch, der Schutz bei ihm sucht! (1Pe 2:3)10Fürchtet Jahwe, die ihr zu ihm gehört! / Denn wer ihn ehrt, büßt gar nichts ein!11Selbst junge Löwen müssen hungern, / doch wer Jahwe sucht, hat alles, was er braucht.12Kommt, ihr jungen Leute, hört mir zu! / Die Ehrfurcht vor Jahwe zeige ich euch:13Wer will etwas vom Leben haben? / Wer will lange glücklich sein?14Der passe auf, was er sagt, / dass er nicht lügt und mit Worten betrügt.15Der tue das Gute und wende sich vom Bösen ab, / der mühe sich um Frieden mit seiner ganzen Kraft.16Jahwe blickt auf die Gerechten, / er hört auf sie und ihren Hilfeschrei.17Die Böses tun, die blickt er böse an / und löscht ihr Andenken in dieser Welt aus.[4] (1Pe 3:10)18Doch wenn seine Treuen rufen, hört er sie / und rettet sie aus jeder Bedrängnis.19Nah ist Jahwe den gebrochenen Herzen, / bedrückten Seelen hilft er auf.20Vieles muss der Gerechte erleiden, / doch Jahwe reißt ihn aus allem heraus.21Er behütet all seine Glieder, / dass nicht eins davon zerbrochen wird.22Die Böses tun, wird Bosheit töten, / und wer Gerechte hasst, muss büßen dafür.23Jahwe rettet seinen Dienern das Leben; / wer Schutz bei ihm sucht, wird nicht für schuldig erklärt.

(1Pe 3:10)14Qu’il veille sur sa langue ╵pour ne faire aucun mal, qu’aucun propos menteur ╵ne passe sur ses lèvres.15Détourne-toi du mal, ╵et fais ce qui est bien, cherche la paix avec ténacité.16Les yeux de l’Eternel ╵se tournent vers les justes, son oreille est tendue ╵pour écouter leurs cris.17Mais l’Eternel s’oppose ╵à ceux qui font le mal, pour ôter de la terre ╵jusqu’à leur souvenir.18Lorsque les hommes justes ╵lancent leurs cris vers lui, ╵l’Eternel les entend; aussi, il les délivre ╵de toutes leurs détresses.19Car l’Eternel est proche ╵de ceux qui ont le cœur brisé. Il sauve ceux ╵qui ont un esprit abattu.20De nombreux malheurs atteignent le juste mais l’Eternel le délivre de tous.21Il veille sur ses os: aucun d’eux n’est brisé[9]. (Joh 19:36)22Le malheur fera mourir le méchant, les ennemis du juste ╵porteront leur condamnation,23mais l’Eternel ╵sauve la vie ╵de tous ses serviteurs, et ceux dont il est le refuge ╵ne seront jamais condamnés.
