1David' Psalm of praise. I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever.2Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever.3Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.4One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts.5I will speak of the glorious honour of thy majesty, and of thy wondrous works.6And men shall speak of the might of thy terrible acts: and I will declare thy greatness.7They shall abundantly utter the memory of thy great goodness, and shall sing of thy righteousness.8The LORD is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.9The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.10All thy works shall praise thee, O LORD; and thy saints shall bless thee.11They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and talk of thy power;12To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom.13Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endureth throughout all generations.14The LORD upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all those that be bowed down.15The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their meat in due season.16Thou openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.17The LORD is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.18The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.19He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.20The LORD preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy.21My mouth shall speak the praise of the LORD: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever.

Dich will ich rühmen, mein Gott und König, / deinem Namen immer und ewig lobsingen.2An jedem Tag will ich dich loben, / deinen Namen preisen allezeit.3Groß ist Jahwe und sehr zu loben, / unerforschlich seine Herrlichkeit.4Eine Generation rühmt der nächsten dein Werk / und erzählt von deinem gewaltigen Tun.5Die herrliche Pracht deiner Majestät / und deine Wundertaten will ich bedenken.6Von der Macht deiner furchtbaren Taten soll man sprechen, / und ich will erzählen, was für ein großer Gott du bist.7Die Erinnerung an deine große Güte sprudelt heraus, / sie jubeln vor Freude über deine Gerechtigkeit.8Gnädig und barmherzig ist Jahwe, / voller Güte und langsam zum Zorn.9Jahwe ist zu allen gut, / über seine Geschöpfe erbarmt er sich.10Es loben dich, Jahwe, all deine Werke, / und deine Treuen preisen dich.11Sie sprechen vom Glanz deines Reiches, / sie reden von deiner Macht,12damit die Menschen von deinen Großtaten hören / und von der Herrlichkeit deiner Regierung.13Dein Reich ist ja ein Reich aller Zeiten, / und deine Herrschaft hört niemals auf.
Jahwe ist verlässlich in allem, was er sagt, / und gnädig in allem, was er tut.[2]14Jahwe hält die Hinfallenden fest, / und alle Gestürzten richtet er auf.15Alle blicken voller Hoffnung auf dich, / und du gibst ihnen ihre Speise zur richtigen Zeit.16Du öffnest deine wohltätige Hand, / und alles, was lebt, wird durch dich satt.17Jahwe ist in allem Handeln gerecht / und voller Güte in allem, was er tut.18Jahwe ist allen nah, die zu ihm rufen, / allen, die dabei aufrichtig sind.19Die Bitten derer, die ihn fürchten, erfüllt er. / Er hört ihr Schreien und hilft.20Alle, die ihn lieben, behütet Jahwe; / doch alle, die ihn missachten, vernichtet er.21Mein Mund soll Jahwes Ruhm verkünden; / und alles, was lebt, lobe seinen heiligen Namen – für immer und für alle Zeit.

L’Eternel est fiable ╵en tout ce qu’il dit, il est plein d’amour ╵dans tout ce qu’il fait[2].14L’Eternel est le soutien ╵de tous ceux qui tombent, il relève ╵tous ceux qui fléchissent.15Les regards de tous ╵sont tournés vers toi: C’est toi qui leur donnes ╵à chacun sa nourriture ╵le moment venu.16Tu ouvres ta main et tu combles les désirs ╵de tout ce qui vit[3]. (Ps 104:27)17L’Eternel est juste ╵en tout ce qu’il fait, il est plein d’amour ╵en toutes ses œuvres.18L’Eternel est proche ╵de ceux qui l’invoquent, de tous ceux qui l’invoquent avec sincérité.19Il accomplit les désirs ╵de ceux qui le craignent, il entend leur cri ╵et il les délivre.20L’Eternel garde tous ceux qui l’aiment, mais il détruira tous les méchants.21Je dirai les louanges de l’Eternel! Toute créature ╵le bénira éternellement ╵pour sa sainteté, jusque dans l’éternité.
