1I love the LORD, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications.2Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.3The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow.4Then called I upon the name of the LORD; O LORD, I beseech thee, deliver my soul.5Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful.6The LORD preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me.7Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee.8For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.9I will walk before the LORD in the land of the living.10I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted:11I said in my haste, All men are liars.12What shall I render unto the LORD for all his benefits toward me?13I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD.14I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people.15Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.16O LORD, truly I am thy servant; I am thy servant, and the son of thine handmaid: thou hast loosed my bonds.17I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the LORD.18I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people,19In the courts of the LORD' house, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. 1Ich liebe Jahwe, denn er hörte meine Stimme, / hat mein flehendes Rufen gehört.2Er neigte sein Ohr und hörte mir zu. / Solange ich lebe, verkünde ich das.3Gefangen war ich in Stricken des Todes, / getroffen von den Schrecken seiner Macht, / versunken in Elend und Angst.4Da rief ich den Namen Jahwes an: / „Ach, Jahwe, rette mein Leben!“5Jahwe ist gnädig und gerecht, / ja voller Erbarmen ist unser Gott.6Jahwe beschützt den Unerfahrenen. / Ich war schwach, doch er rettete mich.7Beruhige dich, meine Seele, / denn Jahwe hat dir Gutes getan.8Ja, du hast mein Leben vom Tod gerettet, / meine Augen von Tränen / und meinen Fuß vom Sturz.9Ich darf am Leben bleiben / und fortleben in der Nähe Jahwes.10Ich habe ihm immer vertraut, / obwohl ich sagte:[1] „Ich bin am Boden zerstört!“ (2Co 4:13)11Voller Bestürzung rief ich aus: / „Diese Menschen sind allesamt Lügner!“12Wie kann ich Jahwe vergelten, / was er mir Gutes tat?13Den Becher der Rettung will ich erheben / und anrufen den Namen Jahwes.14Meine Versprechen löse ich vor Jahwe ein, / vor seinem ganzen Volk will ich es tun.15Kostbar für Jahwe sind Menschen, die ihn lieben. / Dem Tod gibt er sie nicht so einfach hin.16Ach, Jahwe, ich bin doch dein Knecht, / ich diene dir, wie schon meine Mutter es tat! / Meine Fesseln hast du gelöst.17Opfer des Lobes will ich dir bringen, / anrufen den Namen Jahwes.18Meine Versprechen löse ich vor Jahwe ein, / vor seinem ganzen Volk will ich es tun,19in den Vorhöfen des Hauses Jahwes, / Jerusalem, mitten in dir. / Halleluja!
1Oui, j’aime l’Eternel ╵car il m’entend lorsque je le supplie:2il m’a prêté l’oreille; je l’invoquerai donc ╵tous les jours de ma vie.3Les cordes de la mort ╵s’enroulaient tout autour de moi, les terreurs du séjour des morts ╵m’avaient déjà saisi, et j’étais accablé ╵de tristesse et d’angoisse.4Alors j’ai prié l’Eternel: De grâce, ô Eternel, ╵viens me sauver la vie!5L’Eternel nous fait grâce ╵et il est juste. Notre Dieu est compatissant.6L’Eternel garde les gens simples. Quand j’étais démuni, ╵il m’a sauvé.7Retrouve donc le calme, ╵mon âme, car l’Eternel t’a fait du bien.8Oui, tu m’as fait échapper à la mort, tu as séché mes pleurs, tu m’as préservé de la chute:9ainsi je marcherai encore ╵sous le regard de l’Eternel au pays des vivants.10Oui, j’ai gardé confiance ╵même quand je disais[1]: « Je suis trop malheureux! » (2Co 4:13)11Dans mon accablement, ╵j’en venais à me dire: « Ah, tout homme est menteur! »12Que puis-je rendre à l’Eternel pour tous ses bienfaits envers moi?13J’élèverai ╵la coupe du salut[2], et j’invoquerai l’Eternel, (Le 7:11; Ps 22:27; Ps 22:30)14et, devant tout son peuple, j’accomplirai les vœux ╵que j’ai faits envers l’Eternel.15Elle est précieuse ╵aux yeux de l’Eternel la vie de ceux qui lui sont attachés[3]. (Ps 72:14)16De grâce, ô Eternel, ╵ne suis-je pas ton serviteur? Je suis ton serviteur, ╵le fils de ta servante; et tu as détaché mes chaînes.17Je t’offrirai un sacrifice, ╵pour marquer ma reconnaissance, et j’invoquerai l’Eternel.18Oui, devant tout son peuple, j’accomplirai les vœux ╵que j’ai faits envers l’Eternel,19sur les parvis du temple ╵de l’Eternel, au milieu de Jérusalem!
