1A Psalm. O sing unto the LORD a new song; for he hath done marvellous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory.2The LORD hath made known his salvation: his righteousness hath he openly shewed in the sight of the heathen.3He hath remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.4Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.5Sing unto the LORD with the harp; with the harp, and the voice of a psalm.6With trumpets and sound of cornet make a joyful noise before the LORD, the King.7Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.8Let the floods clap their hands: let the hills be joyful together9Before the LORD; for he cometh to judge the earth: with righteousness shall he judge the world, and the people with equity.

Singt dem HERRN ein neues Lied, /
denn er hat wunderbare Taten vollbracht!
Geholfen hat ihm seine Rechte und sein heiliger Arm. (Ps 33:3; Isa 59:16; Isa 63:5)2Der HERR hat sein Heil bekannt gemacht
und sein gerechtes Wirken enthüllt vor den Augen der Völker.3Er gedachte seiner Huld und seiner Treue zum Haus Israel.
Alle Enden der Erde sahen das Heil unsres Gottes.4Jauchzet dem HERRN, alle Lande,
freut euch, jubelt und singt!5Spielt dem HERRN auf der Leier,
auf der Leier zu lautem Gesang!6Mit Trompeten und lautem Widderhorn
jauchzt vor dem HERRN, dem König! (Ps 24:7)7Es brause das Meer und seine Fülle,
der Erdkreis und seine Bewohner. (Ps 96:11)8In die Hände klatschen sollen die Ströme,
die Berge sollen jubeln im Chor (Ps 96:12)9vor dem HERRN, denn er kommt,
um die Erde zu richten.
Er richtet den Erdkreis in Gerechtigkeit,
die Völker so, wie es recht ist. (Ps 67:5; Ps 96:13)
