Acts 3

1 Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour. 

2 And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple; 

3 Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms. 

4 And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us. 

5 And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them. 

6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. 

7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ancle bones received strength. 

8 And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God. 

9 And all the people saw him walking and praising God: 

10 And they knew that it was he which sat for alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple: and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened unto him. 

11 And as the lame man which was healed held Peter and John, all the people ran together unto them in the porch that is called Solomon's, greatly wondering. 

12 And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk? 

13 The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go. 

14 But ye denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you; 

15 And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses. 

16 And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all. 

17 And now, brethren, I wot that through ignorance ye did it, as did also your rulers. 

18 But those things, which God before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled. 

19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; 

20 And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: 

21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began. 

22 For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you. 

23 And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people. 

24 Yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold of these days. 

25 Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed. 

26 Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.

Heilung eines Lahmgeborenen

1 Petrus aber und Johannes gingen um die Stunde des Gebets, die neunte, zusammen hinauf in den Tempel. (Ac 2:46; Ac 10:3) 

2 Und ein Mann, der von seiner Mutter Leibe an lahm war, wurde ⟨herbei⟩getragen; man setzte ihn täglich an die Pforte des Tempels, die man die schöne nennt, damit er Almosen erbat von denen, die in den Tempel gingen. (Ac 14:8) 

3 Als dieser Petrus und Johannes sah, wie sie in den Tempel eintreten wollten, bat er, ein Almosen zu erhalten. 

4 Petrus aber mit Johannes blickte fest auf ihn hin und sprach: Sieh uns an! 

5 Er aber gab acht auf sie, in der Erwartung, etwas von ihnen zu empfangen. 

6 Petrus aber sprach: Silber und Gold besitze ich nicht; was ich aber habe, das gebe ich dir: Im Namen Jesu Christi, des Nazoräers: Geh umher! (Ac 4:10; Ac 9:34) 

7 Und er ergriff ihn bei der rechten Hand und richtete ihn auf. Sofort aber wurden seine Füße und seine Knöchel stark, 

8 er sprang auf, konnte stehen und ging umher. Und er trat mit ihnen in den Tempel, ging umher und sprang und lobte Gott. (Isa 35:6) 

9 Und das ganze Volk sah ihn umhergehen und Gott loben; 

10 und sie erkannten ihn, dass er der war, der um das Almosen an der schönen Pforte des Tempels gesessen hatte; und sie wurden mit Verwunderung und Erstaunen erfüllt über das, was sich mit ihm ereignet hatte. 

11 Während er aber den Petrus und Johannes festhielt, lief das ganze Volk voller Erstaunen zu ihnen zusammen in der Säulenhalle, die Salomons⟨halle⟩ genannt wird. (Joh 10:23; Ac 5:12) 

Zweite Predigt des Petrus

12 Als aber Petrus es sah, sprach er zum Volk: Männer von Israel, was verwundert ihr euch hierüber, oder was seht ihr ⟨so⟩ gespannt auf uns, als hätten wir aus eigener Kraft oder Frömmigkeit bewirkt, dass er gehen kann? 

13 Der Gott Abrahams und Isaaks und Jakobs, der Gott unserer Väter, hat seinen Knecht Jesus verherrlicht, den ihr überliefert und vor Pilatus verleugnet habt, als dieser entschieden hatte, ihn loszugeben. (Ex 3:6; Isa 42:1; Isa 53:11; Joh 12:23; Joh 19:15; Ac 4:27; Ac 5:30; Ac 22:14) 

14 Ihr aber habt den Heiligen und Gerechten verleugnet und gebeten, dass euch ein Mörder geschenkt wurde; (Lu 1:35; Lu 23:18; Ac 7:52; Ac 22:14; 1Pe 3:18; 1Jo 2:1) 

15 den Fürsten des Lebens aber habt ihr getötet, den Gott aus den Toten auferweckt hat, wovon wir Zeugen sind. (Ac 1:8; Ac 2:24) 

16 Und durch den Glauben an seinen Namen hat sein Name diesen, den ihr seht und kennt, stark gemacht; und der durch ihn ⟨bewirkte⟩ Glaube hat ihm diese vollkommene Gesundheit gegeben vor euch allen. 

17 Und jetzt, Brüder, ich weiß, dass ihr in Unwissenheit gehandelt habt, wie auch eure Obersten. (Lu 23:34) 

18 Gott aber hat so erfüllt, was er durch den Mund aller Propheten vorher verkündigt hat, dass sein Christus leiden sollte. (Lu 24:26; Ac 2:23; Ac 17:3; Ac 26:23) 

19 So tut nun Buße und bekehrt euch, dass eure Sünden ausgetilgt werden, (Ac 2:38) 

20 damit Zeiten der Erquickung kommen vom Angesicht des Herrn und er den euch vorausbestimmten Jesus Christus sende! (Ac 1:11) 

21 Den muss freilich der Himmel aufnehmen bis zu den Zeiten der Wiederherstellung aller ⟨Dinge⟩, von denen Gott durch den Mund seiner heiligen Propheten von jeher geredet hat. (Isa 65:17; Mt 17:11; 1Ti 6:15; Re 10:7) 

22 Mose hat schon gesagt: »Einen Propheten wird euch der Herr, euer Gott, aus euren Brüdern erwecken, gleich mir. Auf ihn sollt ihr hören in allem, was er zu euch reden wird! (Ac 7:37) 

23 Es wird aber geschehen: Jede Seele, die auf jenen Propheten nicht hören wird, soll aus dem Volk ausgerottet werden.« (De 18:15; Joh 5:46) 

24 Aber auch alle Propheten, von Samuel an und der Reihe nach, so viele geredet haben, haben auch diese Tage verkündigt. (1Pe 1:10) 

25 Ihr seid die Söhne der Propheten und des Bundes, den Gott euren Vätern verordnet hat, als er zu Abraham sprach: »Und in deinem Samen werden gesegnet werden alle Geschlechter der Erde.« (Ge 22:18; Ro 9:4; Ga 3:16) 

26 Euch zuerst hat Gott seinen Knecht erweckt und ihn gesandt, euch zu segnen, indem er jeden ⟨von euch⟩ von seinen Bosheiten abwendet. (Mt 15:24; Ac 13:46; Ro 1:16; Ro 15:8)
