Geloften willen wij U betalen.3U hoort al onze gebeden en alles wat leeft, mag dan ook tot U komen.4Het kwaad dreigde mij te overmeesteren, maar U vergeeft mij mijn zonden.5Gelukkig is de man die U uitkiest. U laat hem bij U komen en bij U wonen. Al het goede van uw huis zal ons in overvloed ten deel vallen, al het heilige in uw tempel.6U antwoordt ons in oprechtheid met grote daden, God, U bevrijdt ons. De hele aarde kan op U vertrouwen, U bent er tot in de verste zeeën.7Met uw kracht hebt U de bergen stevig geplant, vastgezet door uw sterkte.8U laat de zeeën tot kalmte komen, zowel het bruisen van de golven als het geschreeuw van de volken.9Daarom zijn alle mensen, tot in de uithoeken van de aarde, bang voor de tekenen die U doet. Van oost tot west brengt men U eer en lof.10U komt naar ons toe en geeft ons land een overvloedige oogst. U maakt ons rijk. De beek van God is gevuld met water. U laat het koren groeien, zoals U alles laat groeien.11U geeft het water op de akkers, doordrenkt de voren op het land. Uw regen laat onze gewassen groeien. U zegent de gewassen.12Door uw goedheid wordt onze oogst bekroond, U geeft ons overvloed.13De rijpe gewassen golven op de akker, de heuvels juichen over U.14De vruchtbare streken zijn bezaaid met kudden, in de dalen groeit welig het koren. Heel het land jubelt en zingt. Heel deze overvloed is er dankzij U.
