Psalm 75

Gute Nachricht Bibel 2018

Psalm 75

English Standard Version

von Crossway
1 We give thanks to you, O God; we give thanks, for your name is near. We[1] recount your wondrous deeds. (Ps 145,18) 2 “At the set time that I appoint I will judge with equity. (Ps 17,2; Ps 102,13; Dan 8,19; Hab 2,3) 3 When the earth totters, and all its inhabitants, it is I who keep steady its pillars. Selah (1Sam 2,8; Jes 24,19) 4 I say to the boastful, ‘Do not boast,’ and to the wicked, ‘Do not lift up your horn; (Ps 75,10; Sach 1,21) 5 do not lift up your horn on high, or speak with haughty neck.’” 6 For not from the east or from the west and not from the wilderness comes lifting up, (Ps 3,3) 7 but it is God who executes judgment, putting down one and lifting up another. (1Sam 2,7; Ps 50,6; Dan 2,21) 8 For in the hand of the LORD there is a cup with foaming wine, well mixed, and he pours out from it, and all the wicked of the earth shall drain it down to the dregs. (Hi 21,20; Ps 11,6; Ps 73,10; Spr 23,30) 9 But I will declare it forever; I will sing praises to the God of Jacob. 10 All the horns of the wicked I will cut off, but the horns of the righteous shall be lifted up. (1Sam 2,1; Ps 75,4; Ps 89,17; Ps 112,9; Jer 48,25)
