Bitte um Gottes Hilfe für den König

1 Für den Chormeister. Ein Psalm Davids. 2 Der HERR antworte dir am Tag der Bedrängnis, der Name des Gottes Jakobs schütze dich. (Spr 18,10) 3 Er sende dir Hilfe vom Heiligtum und vom Zion her stütze er dich. 4 Er gedenke all deiner Gaben und dein Brandopfer möge ihm köstlich sein. [Sela]^[1] 5 Er schenke dir, was dein Herz begehrt, und er erfülle all dein Planen. (Ps 21,3; Ps 37,4) 6 Wir wollen jubeln über deine Hilfe / und im Namen unseres Gottes das Banner erheben. Der HERR erfülle all deine Bitten. 7 Nun hab ich erkannt: Der HERR schafft Rettung seinem Gesalbten. Er antwortet ihm von seinem heiligen Himmel her / mit der rettenden Kraft seiner Rechten. (Ps 18,51) 8 Diese setzen auf Wagen, jene auf Rosse, wir aber bekennen den Namen des HERRN, unsres Gottes. (5Mo 20,1; Ps 33,16; Ps 147,10; Spr 21,31; Jes 31,1; Hos 1,7; Jdt 9,7)

1 To the choirmaster. A Psalm of David. May the Lord answer you in the day of trouble! May the name of the God of Jacob protect you! (1Mo 35,3; Ps 59,1; Ps 69,29; Spr 18,10)

(Apg 10,4) 4 May he grant you your heart’s desire and fulfill all your plans! (Ps 21,2) 5 May we shout for joy over your salvation, and in the name of our God set up our banners! May the Lord fulfill all your petitions! (Ps 9,14; Ps 60,4; Hl 6,4; Hl 6,10)

1 Al direttore del coro. Salmo di Davide. Il Signore ti risponda nel giorno dell’avversità; il nome del Dio di Giacobbe ti tragga in alto, in salvo; 2 ti mandi soccorso dal santuario, ti sostenga da Sion; 3 si ricordi di tutte le tue offerte e accetti il tuo olocausto. [Pausa] 4 Ti dia egli quel che il tuo cuore desidera, faccia riuscire ogni tuo progetto. 5 Noi canteremo di gioia per la tua vittoria, alzeremo le nostre bandiere nel nome del nostro Dio. Il Signore esaudisca tutte le tue richieste. 6 So già che il Signore ha salvato il suo unto e gli risponderà dal suo santo cielo, con le prodezze della sua destra. 7 Gli uni confidano nei carri, gli altri nei cavalli; ma noi invocheremo il nome del Signore, del nostro Dio. 8 Quelli si piegano e cadono; ma noi restiamo in piedi e siamo saldi. 9 O Signore, salva il re! Il Signore ci risponda nel giorno che noi lo invochiamo!
