1 Ein Psalm Davids. HERR, wer darf Gast sein in deinem Zelt, wer darf weilen auf deinem heiligen Berg? 2 Der makellos lebt und das Rechte tut, der von Herzen die Wahrheit sagt, (Ps 12,3) 3 der mit seiner Zunge nicht verleumdet hat,/ der seinem Nächsten nichts Böses tat und keine Schmach auf seinen Nachbarn gehäuft hat. 4 Der Verworfene ist in seinen Augen verachtet, / aber die den HERRN fürchten, hält er in Ehren. Er wird nicht ändern, was er zum eigenen Schaden geschworen hat. 5 Sein Geld hat er nicht auf Wucher verliehen und gegen den Schuldlosen nahm er keine Bestechung an. Wer das tut, der wird niemals wanken. (2Mo 22,24; 2Mo 23,8)

1 A Psalm of David. O Lord, who shall sojourn in your tent? Who shall dwell on your holy hill? (Ps 2,6; Ps 24,3; Ps 61,4; Jes 33,14)

3 who does not slander with his tongue and does no evil to his neighbor, nor takes up a reproach against his friend; (2Mo 23,1; 3Mo 19,16; Ps 34,13) 4 in whose eyes a vile person is despised, but who honors those who fear the Lord; who swears to his own hurt and does not change; (Ri 11,35; Est 3,2) 5 who does not put out his money at interest and does not take a bribe against the innocent. 1 Salmo di Davide. O Signore, chi dimorerà nella tua tenda? Chi abiterà sul tuo santo monte? 2 Colui che è puro e agisce con giustizia e dice la verità come l’ha nel cuore; 3 che non calunnia con la sua lingua, né fa male alcuno al suo vicino, né insulta il suo prossimo. 4 Agli occhi suoi è spregevole il malvagio, ma egli onora quelli che temono il Signore. Se anche ha giurato a suo danno, non cambia; 5 non dà il suo denaro a usura, né accetta regali a danno dell’innocente. Chi agisce così non sarà mai smosso.
