Hilferuf aus einer friedlosen Welt

1 Ein Wallfahrtslied. Ich rief zum HERRN in meiner Bedrängnis und er hat mich erhört. (Jon 2,3) 2 HERR, rette doch mein Leben vor lügnerischen Lippen und vor der falschen Zunge! (Ps 12,3; Sir 51,2) 3 Was soll er dir geben / und was dir noch antun, du falsche Zunge? 4 Scharfe Pfeile eines Kriegers und glühende Kohlen vom Ginsterstrauch. (Ps 140,11) 5 Weh mir, dass ich als Fremder leben muss in Meschech, dass ich wohnen muss bei den Zelten von Kedar! 6 Ich muss schon allzu lange wohnen bei denen, die den Frieden hassen. (Ps 35,20; Ps 140,3) 7 Ich bin Frieden; doch ich brauche nur zu reden, sind sie für Krieg. (Röm 12,18)

1 A Song of Ascents. In my distress I called to the Lord, and he answered me. (2Mo 34,24; 1Kön 12,27; Jes 30,29) 2 Deliver me, O Lord, from lying lips, from a deceitful tongue. 3 What shall be given to you, and what more shall be done to you, you deceitful tongue? (1Sam 3,17) 4 A warrior’s sharp arrows, with glowing coals of the broom tree! (Ps 45,5; Ps 127,4; Ps 140,10; Spr 25,22; Jer 50,9)

1 Canto dei pellegrinaggi. Nella mia angoscia ho invocato il Signore, ed egli mi ha risposto. 2 Signore, libera l’anima mia dalle labbra bugiarde, dalla lingua ingannatrice. 3 Che ti sarà dato e che ti sarà aggiunto, lingua ingannatrice? 4 Frecce appuntite di guerriero, con carboni di ginepro. 5 Misero me che soggiorno in Mesec e abito fra le tende di Chedar! 6 L’anima mia troppo a lungo ha dimorato con chi odia la pace! 7 Io sono per la pace; ma, quando parlo, essi sono per la guerra.
