1 Ausspruch. Das Wort des HERRN über Israel. Der Spruch des HERRN, der den Himmel ausgespannt, die Erde gegründet und den Geist des Menschen in dessen Innern geformt hat: (Sach 9,1; Mal 1,1) 2 Seht, ich mache Jerusalem zur Schale des Taumelns für alle Völker ringsum. - Und auch gegen Juda wird sie sein bei der Belagerung Jerusalems. - (Jes 51,17; Jer 25,15) 3 An jenem Tag wird es sein, da mache ich Jerusalem für alle Völker zum Stein, den man hochstemmen will: Jeder, der ihn hebt, wird schwer zerschunden. - Alle Völker der Erde werden sich gegen es versammeln. (Sach 14,2) 4 An jenem Tag - Spruch des HERRN - schlage ich jedes Pferd mit Panik und seinen Reiter mit Wahnsinn. - Über dem Haus Juda aber halte ich meine Augen offen, während ich alle Pferde der Völker mit Blindheit schlage. (5Mo 28,28) 5 Dann werden die Stammesführer Judas in ihrem Herzen sagen: Die Einwohner Jerusalems sind für mich Stärke durch den HERRN der Heerscharen, ihren Gott. 6 An jenem Tag mache ich Judas Stammesführer gleich einem Feuerbecken im Holzhaufen und gleich einer Brandfackel in den Garben. Sie fressen alle Völker ringsum, zur Rechten und zur Linken. Jerusalem aber wird weiterhin an seinem Ort bleiben, in Jerusalem. (Ob 1,18) 7 Dann wird der HERR zuerst die Zelte Judas retten, damit der Stolz des Hauses David und der Stolz der Einwohner Jerusalems nicht zu groß wird gegenüber Juda. 8 An jenem Tag beschirmt der HERR die Einwohner Jerusalems und selbst der von ihnen, der strauchelt, wird an jenem Tag wie David sein und das Haus David wie Gott, wie der Engel des HERRN vor ihnen. 9 An jenem Tag wird es sein, da werde ich danach trachten, alle Völker zu vernichten, die gegen Jerusalem anrücken. 10 Doch über das Haus David und über die Einwohner Jerusalems werde ich einen Geist des Mitleids und des flehentlichen Bittens ausgießen. Und sie werden auf mich blicken, auf ihn, den sie durchbohrt haben. Sie werden um ihn klagen, wie bei der Klage um den Einzigen; sie werden bitter um ihn weinen, wie man um den Erstgeborenen weint.[1] (Hes 39,29; Joe 3,1; Joh 19,37; Offb 1,7) 11 An jenem Tag wird die Klage in Jerusalem so groß sein wie die Klage um Hadad-Rimmon in der Ebene von Megiddo. (2Kön 5,18) 12 Das Land wird trauern, jede Sippe für sich: die Sippe des Hauses David für sich und ihre Frauen für sich; die Sippe des Hauses Natan für sich und ihre Frauen für sich; (2Sam 5,14) 13 die Sippe des Hauses Levi für sich und ihre Frauen für sich; die Sippe des Schimi für sich und ihre Frauen für sich; (4Mo 3,17) 14 alle übrig gebliebenen Sippen, jede Sippe für sich und ihre Frauen für sich.

1 The oracle of the word of the Lord concerning Israel: Thus declares the Lord, who stretched out the heavens and founded the earth and formed the spirit of man within him: (Jes 42,5; Jes 48,13; Nah 1,1) 2 “Behold, I am about to make Jerusalem a cup of staggering to all the surrounding peoples. The siege of Jerusalem will also be against Judah. (Jes 51,17; Jes 51,22; Sach 14,2; Sach 14,14) 3 On that day I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples. All who lift it will surely hurt themselves. And all the nations of the earth will gather against it. (Jes 2,11; Sach 12,2; Sach 13,1; Sach 13,4; Sach 14,4; Sach 14,6; Sach 14,8; Mt 21,44; Lk 20,18) 4 On that day, declares the Lord, I will strike every horse with panic, and its rider with madness. But for the sake of the house of Judah I will keep my eyes open, when I strike every horse of the peoples with blindness. (5Mo 28,28; Ps 76,6; Sach 12,3) 5 Then the clans of Judah shall say to themselves, ‘The inhabitants of Jerusalem have strength through the Lord of hosts, their God.’ 6 “On that day I will make the clans of Judah like a blazing pot in the midst of wood, like a flaming torch among sheaves. And they shall devour to the right and to the left all the surrounding peoples, while Jerusalem shall again be inhabited in its place, in Jerusalem. (Jer 5,14; Ob 1,18; Sach 2,4; Sach 9,15; Sach 12,3; Sach 14,10) 7 “And the Lord will give salvation to the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem may not surpass that of Judah. 8 On that day the Lord will protect the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that the feeblest among them on that day shall be like David, and the house of David shall be like God, like the angel of the Lord, going before them. (1Sam 29,9; 2Sam 14,17; 2Sam 14,20; 2Sam 19,27; Jes 60,22; Sach 9,15; Sach 12,3) 9 And on that day I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem. (Sach 12,3; Sach 14,3) 



10 “And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and pleas for mercy, so that, when they look on me, on him whom they have pierced, they shall mourn for him, as one mourns for an only child, and weep bitterly over him, as one weeps over a firstborn. (Jer 6,26; Jer 31,9; Jer 50,4; Am 8,10; Joh 19,37; Offb 1,7) 11 On that day the mourning in Jerusalem will be as great as the mourning for Hadad-rimmon in the plain of Megiddo. (2Chr 35,24; Sach 12,3; Apg 2,37) 12 The land shall mourn, each family[1] by itself: the family of the house of David by itself, and their wives by themselves; the family of the house of Nathan by itself, and their wives by themselves; (2Sam 5,14; Sach 7,3; Lk 3,31) 13 the family of the house of Levi by itself, and their wives by themselves; the family of the Shimeites by itself, and their wives by themselves; (4Mo 3,18) 14 and all the families that are left, each by itself, and their wives by themselves.
