The Fool Says, There Is No God

2 The Lord looks down from heaven on the children of man, to see if there are any who understand,^[1] who seek after God. (2Ch 15:2; 2Ch 19:3; Ps 11:4; Ps 102:19)

3 They have all turned aside; together they have become corrupt; there is none who does good, not even one. 5 Dann erschrecken sie furchtbar, weil Gott bei dem Geschlecht der Gerechten ist! (Ps 53:6) 6 Wollt ihr das Vorhaben des Elenden zuschanden machen, obwohl der HERR seine Zuflucht ist? (Ps 3:3) 7 Ach, dass aus Zion die Rettung für Israel käme! Wenn der HERR das Geschick seines Volkes wendet, wird Jakob sich freuen und Israel fröhlich sein!
