1The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.2It shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the house of the Lord shall be established as the highest of the mountains, and shall be lifted up above the hills; and all the nations shall flow to it, (Isa 14:13; Isa 25:6; Isa 56:7; Mic 4:1)3and many peoples shall come, and say: “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob, that he may teach us his ways and that we may walk in his paths.” For out of Zion shall go forth the law,[1] and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. The Day of the Lord
6For you have rejected your people, the house of Jacob, because they are full of things from the east and of fortune-tellers like the Philistines, and they strike hands with the children of foreigners. 6Denn du hast dein Volk verstoßen, das Haus Jakobs; denn voll morgenländischer [Zauberei] sind sie und Zeichendeuter wie die Philister, und sie haben sich mit fremdem Gesindel verbündet.
