1 Then I saw another sign in heaven, great and amazing, seven angels with seven plagues, which are the last, for with them the wrath of God is finished. (Re 12:1; Re 12:3; Re 16:1; Re 17:1; Re 21:9) 2 And I saw what appeared to be a sea of glass mingled with fire—and also those who had conquered the beast and its image and the number of its name, standing beside the sea of glass with harps of God in their hands. (Re 4:6; Re 5:8; Re 12:11; Re 13:17; Re 14:2; Re 21:18; Re 21:21) 3 And they sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, “Great and amazing are your deeds, O Lord God the Almighty! Just and true are your ways, O King of the nations![1] (Ex 15:1; De 31:30; De 32:3; Job 37:5; Ps 111:2; Ps 139:14; Ps 145:17; Ho 14:9; Heb 3:5; Re 16:7) 4 Who will not fear, O Lord, and glorify your name? For you alone are holy. All nations will come and worship you, for your righteous acts have been revealed.” (Ps 86:9; Mal 2:2; Heb 7:26; Re 14:7; Re 16:5) 5 After this I looked, and the sanctuary of the tent[2] of witness in heaven was opened, (Ex 38:21; Nu 1:50; Ac 7:44; Re 11:19) 6 and out of the sanctuary came the seven angels with the seven plagues, clothed in pure, bright linen, with golden sashes around their chests. (Re 1:13; Re 15:1; Re 19:8) 7 And one of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden bowls full of the wrath of God who lives forever and ever, (Re 1:18; Re 4:6; Re 4:9; Re 5:8; Re 5:13) 8 and the sanctuary was filled with smoke from the glory of God and from his power, and no one could enter the sanctuary until the seven plagues of the seven angels were finished. (Ex 40:34; Ex 40:35; 1Ki 8:10; 1Ki 8:11; 2Ch 5:13; Isa 6:4; Hag 2:7)

1 Puis je vis dans le ciel un autre signe, grand et extraordinaire: sept anges qui tenaient sept fléaux, les derniers, car la colère de Dieu s'accomplit par eux. 2 Je vis aussi comme une mer de verre mêlée de feu. Ceux qui avaient vaincu la bête, son image et le nombre de son nom étaient debout sur cette mer, tenant des harpes de Dieu. 3 Ils chantaient le cantique de Moïse, le serviteur de Dieu, et le cantique de l'Agneau en disant: «Tes œuvres sont grandes et extraordinaires, Seigneur Dieu tout-puissant! Tes voies sont justes et véritables, roi des nations! 4 Qui pourrait ne pas [te] craindre[1], Seigneur, et rendre gloire à ton nom? Oui, toi seul, tu es saint, et toutes les nations viendront t'adorer, parce que tes actes de justice ont été révélés.» (Jer 10:7) 5 Après cela, je regardai et le temple, le tabernacle du témoignage, fut ouvert dans le ciel. 6 Les sept anges qui tenaient les sept fléaux sortirent du temple; ils étaient revêtus d'un lin pur, éclatant, et portaient des écharpes en or autour de la poitrine. 7 L'un des quatre êtres vivants donna aux sept anges sept coupes d'or pleines de la colère du Dieu qui vit aux siècles des siècles. 8 Le temple fut rempli de fumée à cause de la gloire de Dieu et de sa puissance, et personne ne pouvait entrer dans le temple tant que les sept fléaux des [sept] anges n'étaient pas accomplis.
