1 A Song of Ascents. Of David. O Lord, my heart is not lifted up; my eyes are not raised too high; I do not occupy myself with things too great and too marvelous for me. (Job 42:3; Ps 101:5; Ps 120:1; Ps 138:6; Isa 57:15; Jer 45:5; Ro 12:16)

1 Chant des montées, de David. Eternel, je n'ai pas un cœur orgueilleux ni des regards hautains, et je ne m'engage pas dans des projets trop grands et trop élevés pour moi. 2 Au contraire, je suis calme et tranquille comme un enfant sevré qui se trouve avec sa mère, je suis comme un enfant sevré. 3 Israël, mets ton espoir en l'Eternel dès maintenant et pour toujours!
