(Ps 44:16; Jer 16:19; Mt 11:25; Mt 21:16; 1Co 1:27)3When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, (Ge 1:16; Ex 8:19; Ex 31:18; Ps 111:2)4what is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you care for him? (Ge 8:1; Ge 21:1; Ge 50:24; Job 7:17; Job 25:6; Ps 65:9; Ps 80:17; Ps 144:3; Heb 2:6)5Yet you have made him a little lower than the heavenly beings[2] and crowned him with glory and honor. 1ای خداوند، ای خداوند ما، شكوه نام تو سراسر زمين را فرا گرفته است و عظمت تو از آسمانها نيز فراتر رفته است.2كودكان و شيرخوارگان، زبان به ستايش تو میگشايند و دشمنانت را سرافكنده و خاموش میسازند.3وقتی به آسمان تو و به ماه و ستارگانی كه آفريدهای نگاه میكنم،4میگويم انسان چيست كه تو به فكر او باشی و او را مورد لطف خود قرار دهی؟5تو مقام او را فقط اندكی پایینتر از فرشتگان قرار دادی و تاج عزت و احترام را بر سر وی نهادی.6او را بر تمام خلقت خود گماردی و همه چيز را زير فرمان او درآوردی:7گوسفندان و گاوان، حيوانات وحشی،8پرندگان آسمان، ماهيان دريا و جاندارانی كه در آبها زندگی میكنند.9ای خداوند! ای خداوند ما! شكوه نام تو سراسر زمين را فرا گرفته است.
