Psalm 21

The King Rejoices in the Lord’s Strength

1 To the choirmaster. A Psalm of David. O Lord, in your strength the king rejoices, and in your salvation how greatly he exults! (Ps 8:2; Ps 9:14; Ps 28:7) 

2 You have given him his heart’s desire and have not withheld the request of his lips. (Ps 20:4) 

3 For you meet him with rich blessings; you set a crown of fine gold upon his head. (2Sa 12:30; 1Ch 20:2; Ps 19:10; Ps 59:10) 

4 He asked life of you; you gave it to him, length of days forever and ever. (2Sa 7:19; 1Ki 1:31; Ne 2:3; Ps 61:6; Ps 91:16) 

5 His glory is great through your salvation; splendor and majesty you bestow on him. (Ps 8:5; Ps 45:3; Ps 96:6) 

6 For you make him most blessed forever; you make him glad with the joy of your presence. (Ps 16:11; Ps 45:7) 

7 For the king trusts in the Lord, and through the steadfast love of the Most High he shall not be moved. (Ps 10:6; Ps 16:8) 

8 Your hand will find out all your enemies; your right hand will find out those who hate you. (Isa 10:10) 

9 You will make them as a blazing oven when you appear. The Lord will swallow them up in his wrath, and fire will consume them. (Job 20:26; Ps 2:5; Ps 18:8; Ps 50:3; Ps 83:14; Ps 97:3; Isa 26:11; Da 7:10; Hab 3:5; Mal 4:1) 

10 You will destroy their descendants from the earth, and their offspring from among the children of man. (1Ki 13:34; Job 18:16; Job 18:19; Ps 34:16; Ps 37:28; Ps 109:13; Isa 14:20) 

11 Though they plan evil against you, though they devise mischief, they will not succeed. (Ps 2:1; Ps 10:2) 

12 For you will put them to flight; you will aim at their faces with your bows. (Ps 7:12; Ps 11:2; Ps 18:40) 

13 Be exalted, O Lord, in your strength! We will sing and praise your power.

شادی به خاطر پيروزی

1 ای خداوند، پادشاه از قوتی كه به او دادهای شادی میكند و از پيروزیای كه به او بخشيدهای شادمان است. 

2 تو آرزوی دل او را برآوردی و هر چه از تو خواسته از او دريغ نداشتی. 

3 تو با بركات نيكو، به استقبالش رفتی و تاجی از طلای ناب بر سرش نهادی. 

4 از تو حيات خواست، به او دادی و بقا و طول عمر به او بخشيدی. 

5 شكوه و عظمت او به خاطر پيروزیای است كه تو به او بخشيدهای. تو به او عزت و احترام دادهای. 

6 او را تا ابد با بركاتت پر ساختهای و با حضورت او را شاد گردانيدهای. 

7 پادشاه بر خداوند توكل دارد و به لطف خدای متعال هميشه پايدار خواهد ماند. 

8 پادشاه بر همهٔ دشمنانش غلبه خواهد يافت. 

9 او وقتی بيايد مانند آتش مشتعل مخالفانش را نابود خواهد كرد. آتش خشم خداوند، دشمنان پادشاه را خواهد بلعيد؛ 

10 و نسل آنها را از روی زمين نابود خواهد ساخت. 

11 آنها بر ضد پادشاه قيام كردند و نقشههای پليد كشيدند، اما موفق نشدند. 

12 او با تير و كمان آنها را هدف قرار خواهد داد و ايشان برگشته، پا به فرار خواهند گذاشت. 

13 ای خداوند، به خاطر قدرتت تو را ستايش میكنيم و عظمت تو را میسراييم.
