2 Why should the nations say, “Where is their God?” (Ex 32:12; Nu 14:13; Ps 42:3) 3 Our God is in the heavens; he does all that he pleases. 5 They have mouths, but do not speak; eyes, but do not see. خدای واحد حقيقی

1 تنها تو ای خداوند، بلی، تنها تو سزاوار تجليل و تكريم هستی، نه ما؛ زيرا تو سرشار از رحمت و وفا میباشی. 2 چرا مردم خدانشناس از ما بپرسند: «خدای شما كجاست؟» 3 خدای ما در آسمانهاست و آنچه را كه اراده فرمايد انجام میدهد. 4 اما خدايان آنها، بتهای طلا و نقره میباشند كه با دستهای انسان ساخته شدهاند. 5 بتهايشان دهان دارند ولی حرف نمیزنند. چشم دارند اما نمیبينند. 6 گوش دارند ولی نمیشنوند. بينی دارند، اما نمیبويند. 7 دست دارند، ولی لمس نمیكنند. پا دارند اما راه نمیروند. از گلويشان صدايی بيرون نمیآيد. 8 همه كسانی كه اين بتها را میسازند و آنها را پرستش میكنند مانند بتهايشان بیشعور و نادان هستند. 9 ای قوم اسرائيل، بر خداوند توكل كنيد، زيرا او مددكار و محافظ شماست. 10 ای كاهنان خداوند بر او توكل كنيد، زيرا او مددكار و محافظ شماست. 11 ای خداترسان بر خداوند توكل كنيد، زيرا او مددكار و محافظ شماست. 12 خداوند هميشه به فكر ماست و ما را بركت میدهد. او مردم اسرائيل و كاهنان خود را بركت میدهد. 13 خداوند همهٔ كسانی را كه او را گرامی میدارند، از كوچک و بزرگ، بركت میدهد. 14 خداوند شما و فرزندانتان را صاحب فرزند سازد. 15 او كه آسمانها و زمين را آفريد، شما را بركت دهد. 16 آسمانها از آن خداوند میباشند، ولی او زمين را به انسان بخشيد. 17 مردگان و آنانی كه به عالم خاموشی میروند، خداوند را ستايش نمیكنند. 18 اما ما زندگان، خداوند را از حال تا ابد ستايش خواهيم كرد. خداوند را سپاس باد!
