1The oracle concerning the valley of vision. What do you mean that you have gone up, all of you, to the housetops, (Isa 13:1; Isa 22:5; Jer 21:13; Joe 3:12; Joe 3:14)2you who are full of shoutings, tumultuous city, exultant town? Your slain are not slain with the sword or dead in battle. (Isa 32:13; La 4:9)3All your leaders have fled together; without the bow they were captured. All of you who were found were captured, though they had fled far away. (Isa 1:10)4Therefore I said: “Look away from me; let me weep bitter tears; do not labor to comfort me concerning the destruction of the daughter of my people.” (Jer 9:1; Mic 1:8)5For the Lord God of hosts has a day of tumult and trampling and confusion in the valley of vision, a battering down of walls and a shouting to the mountains. (Isa 2:12; Isa 10:6; Isa 18:2; Isa 22:1; Isa 37:3; Mic 7:4)6And Elam bore the quiver with chariots and horsemen, and Kir uncovered the shield. (2Ki 16:9; Isa 11:11)7Your choicest valleys were full of chariots, and the horsemen took their stand at the gates.8He has taken away the covering of Judah. In that day you looked to the weapons of the House of the Forest, (1Ki 10:17; Isa 30:1)9and you saw that the breaches of the city of David were many. You collected the waters of the lower pool, (2Ch 32:5; Ne 3:16; Isa 22:5; Isa 22:10)10and you counted the houses of Jerusalem, and you broke down the houses to fortify the wall.11You made a reservoir between the two walls for the water of the old pool. But you did not look to him who did it, or see him who planned it long ago. (2Ki 20:20; 2Ki 25:4; 2Ch 32:3; Isa 5:12; Isa 7:3; Isa 22:9)12In that day the Lord God of hosts called for weeping and mourning, for baldness and wearing sackcloth; (2Sa 3:31; Isa 3:24; Joe 2:17)13and behold, joy and gladness, killing oxen and slaughtering sheep, eating flesh and drinking wine. “Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die.” (Isa 56:12; 1Co 15:32)14The Lord of hosts has revealed himself in my ears: “Surely this iniquity will not be atoned for you until you die,” says the Lord God of hosts. (1Sa 3:14; Isa 5:9; Isa 22:13; Isa 27:9)15Thus says the Lord God of hosts, “Come, go to this steward, to Shebna, who is over the household, and say to him: (2Ki 18:18; 2Ki 18:26; 2Ki 18:37; 2Ki 19:2; Isa 36:3; Isa 36:11; Isa 36:22; Isa 37:2)16What have you to do here, and whom have you here, that you have cut out here a tomb for yourself, you who cut out a tomb on the height and carve a dwelling for yourself in the rock? (2Ch 16:14; Mt 27:60)17Behold, the Lord will hurl you away violently, O you strong man. He will seize firm hold on you (Da 3:21)18and whirl you around and around, and throw you like a ball into a wide land. There you shall die, and there shall be your glorious chariots, you shame of your master’s house. (Isa 36:9)19I will thrust you from your office, and you will be pulled down from your station. (Isa 22:25)20In that day I will call my servant Eliakim the son of Hilkiah, (2Ki 18:18; 2Ki 18:26; 2Ki 18:37; 2Ki 19:2; Isa 36:3; Isa 37:2)21and I will clothe him with your robe, and will bind your sash on him, and will commit your authority to his hand. And he shall be a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem and to the house of Judah. (Ge 45:8; Isa 22:20)22And I will place on his shoulder the key of the house of David. He shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open. (Job 12:14; Isa 9:6; Re 3:7)23And I will fasten him like a peg in a secure place, and he will become a throne of honor to his father’s house. (Ec 12:11; Isa 33:20; Isa 54:2; Re 3:21)24And they will hang on him the whole honor of his father’s house, the offspring and issue, every small vessel, from the cups to all the flagons.25In that day, declares the Lord of hosts, the peg that was fastened in a secure place will give way, and it will be cut down and fall, and the load that was on it will be cut off, for the Lord has spoken.” (Isa 22:23)
1-2اين پيام برای اورشليم است: چه شده است؟ چرا مردم شهر به پشت بامها میدوند؟ در تمام شهر غوغا برپاست! برای اين شهر شاد و پر جنب و جوش چه پيش آمده است؟ مردان اورشليم كشته شدهاند اما نه در جنگ، و نه با شمشير.3همهٔ رهبران با هم فرار كردند و بدون اينكه تيری بيفکنند تسليم شدند. وقتی دشمن هنوز دور بود مردم با هم گريختند و اسير گرديدند.4پس مرا به حال خود بگذاريد تا برای مصيبت قومم، به تلخی بگريم. كوشش نكنيد مرا تسلی دهيد،5زيرا اينک زمان آن رسيده كه خداوند قادر متعال اورشليم را دچار مصيبت و آشفتگی و انهدام كند. ديوارهای شهر ما فرو ريخته است. فرياد مردم در کوهها طنين میافكند.6سپاهيان عيلام تير و كمان را آماده كرده، بر اسبهای خود سوار شدهاند و سربازان سرزمين«قير» سپرهای خود را به دست گرفتهاند.7دشتهای سرسبز يهودا از عرابههای دشمن پر شده است و سواران دشمن به پشت دروازههای شهر رسيدهاند.8نيروی دفاعی يهودا در هم شكسته است. برای آوردن اسلحه به اسلحهخانه میدويد.9-10رخنههای حصار شهر را بررسی میكنيد، سپس خانههای اورشليم را میشماريد تا آنها را خراب كنيد و مصالحشان را برای تعمير حصار به كار ببريد. برای ذخيره كردن آب،11آب انبار در داخل شهر درست میكنيد تا آب بركهٔ قديمی تحتانی را در آن بريزيد. تمام اين كارها را میكنيد اما به خدا كه سازندهٔ همه چيز است توجهی نداريد.12خداوند، خدای قادر متعال از شما میخواهد كه گريه و ماتم كنيد، موی خود را بتراشيد و پلاس بپوشيد.13اما شما شادی میكنيد، گاو و گوسفند سر میبريد تا گوشتشان را با شراب بخوريد و خوش بگذرانيد. میگوييد: «بخوريم و بنوشيم، چون فردا میميريم.»14خداوند قادر متعال به من گفته كه اين گناه شما تا به هنگام مرگ هرگز آمرزيده نخواهد شد. بلی، اين را خداوند قادر متعال فرموده است.15خداوند، خدای قادر متعال به من فرمود كه نزد«شبنا» وزير دربار بروم و به او چنين بگويم:16«تو در اينجا چه میكنی؟ چه كسی به تو اجازه داده در اينجا قبری برای خود بكنی؟ ای كسی كه قبر خود را در اين صخره بلند میتراشی،17هر مقامی كه داشته باشی، خداوند تو را برمیدارد و دور میاندازد.18تو را مانند يک گوی برمیدارد و به سرزمينی دور پرتاب میكند. در آنجا تو در كنار عرابههايت كه به آنها افتخار میكردی خواهی مرد. تو مايهٔ ننگ دربار هستی،19پس خداوند تو را از اين مقام و منصبی كه داری بركنار خواهد كرد.»20خداوند به شبنا چنين میگويد: «در آن روز، خدمتگزار خود، الياقيم، پسر حلقيا را به جای تو خواهم نشاند.21لباس تو را به او خواهم پوشاند و كمربندت را به كمرش خواهم بست و اقتدار تو را به او خواهم داد. او برای مردم اورشليم و خاندان يهودا پدر خواهد بود.22كليد دربار داوود پادشاه را به او خواهم داد و او هر دری را بگشايد كسی آن را نخواهد بست و هر دری را ببندد كسی آن را نخواهد گشود!23او را مانند ميخی، محكم در جای خود خواهم كوبيد و او مايهٔ سربلندی خاندان خود خواهد شد.24«اما تمام خاندان و فرزندان او مانند كاسهها و كوزههايی كه بر ميخ میآويزند بر او خواهند آويخت.25وقتی چنين شود آن ميخی كه محكم به ديوار كوبيده شده است، شل شده، خواهد افتاد و باری كه بر آن است متلاشی خواهد شد.» اين را خداوند قادر متعال فرموده است.
