Adam’s Descendants to Noah

1 This is the book of the generations of Adam. When God created man, he made him in the likeness of God. (Ge 1:26) 2 Male and female he created them, and he blessed them and named them Man^[1] when they were created. 3 When Adam had lived 130 years, he fathered a son in his own likeness, after his image, and named him Seth. (Ge 4:25) 4 The days of Adam after he fathered Seth were 800 years; and he had other sons and daughters. (1Ch 1:1; Lu 3:36) 5 Thus all the days that Adam lived were 930 years, and he died. (Ge 3:19) 6 When Seth had lived 105 years, he fathered Enosh. (Ge 4:26) 7 Seth lived after he fathered Enosh 807 years and had other sons and daughters. 8 Thus all the days of Seth were 912 years, and he died. 9 When Enosh had lived 90 years, he fathered Kenan. 10 Enosh lived after he fathered Kenan 815 years and had other sons and daughters. 11 Thus all the days of Enosh were 905 years, and he died. 12 When Kenan had lived 70 years, he fathered Mahalalel. 13 Kenan lived after he fathered Mahalalel 840 years and had other sons and daughters. 14 Thus all the days of Kenan were 910 years, and he died. 15 When Mahalalel had lived 65 years, he fathered Jared. 16 Mahalalel lived after he fathered Jared 830 years and had other sons and daughters. 17 Thus all the days of Mahalalel were 895 years, and he died. 18 When Jared had lived 162 years, he fathered Enoch. (Jud 1:14) 19 Jared lived after he fathered Enoch 800 years and had other sons and daughters. 20 Thus all the days of Jared were 962 years, and he died. 21 When Enoch had lived 65 years, he fathered Methuselah. 22 Enoch walked with God^[2] after he fathered Methuselah 300 years and had other sons and daughters. 23 Thus all the days of Enoch were 365 years. 24 Enoch walked with God, and he was not,^[3] for God took him. (Ge 5:22; 2Ki 2:11; Heb 11:5) 25 When Methuselah had lived 187 years, he fathered Lamech. 26 Methuselah lived after he fathered Lamech 782 years and had other sons and daughters. 27 Thus all the days of Methuselah were 969 years, and he died. 28 When Lamech had lived 182 years, he fathered a son 29 and called his name Noah, saying, “Out of the ground that the Lord has cursed, this one shall bring us relief^[4] from our work and from the painful toil of our hands.” (Ge 3:17) 30 Lamech lived after he fathered Noah 595 years and had other sons and daughters. 31 Thus all the days of Lamech were 777 years, and he died. 32 After Noah was 500 years old, Noah fathered Shem, Ham, and Japheth. (Ge 6:10; Ge 10:21)

1 اين است شرح پيدايش آدم و نسل او. هنگامی كه خدا خواست انسان را بيافريند، او را شبيه خود آفريد. (1Ch 1:1) 2 او انسان را مرد و زن خلق فرموده، آنها را بركت داد و از همان آغاز خلقت، ايشان را«آدم» ناميد. 3-5 آدم: وقتی آدم ۱۳۰ ساله بود، پسرش^[1] شيث به دنيا آمد. او شبيه پدرش آدم بود. بعد از تولد شيث، آدم ۸۰۰ سال ديگر عمر كرد و صاحب پسران و دختران شد. آدم در سن ۹۳۰ سالگی مرد. 6-8 شيث: وقتی شيث ۱۰۵ ساله بود، پسرش انوش به دنيا آمد. بعد از تولد انوش، شيث ۸۰۷ سال ديگر عمر كرد و صاحب پسران و دختران شد. شيث در سن ۹۱۲ سالگی مرد. 9-11 انوش: وقتی انوش نود ساله بود، پسرش قينان به دنيا آمد. بعد از تولد قينان، انوش ۸۱۵ سال ديگر عمر كرد و صاحب پسران و دختران شد. انوش در سن ۹۰۵ سالگی مرد. 12-14 قينان: وقتی قينان هفتاد ساله بود، پسرش مهللئيل به دنيا آمد. بعد از تولد مهللئيل، قينان ۸۴۰ سال ديگر عمر كرد و صاحب پسران و دختران شد. او در سن ۹۱۰ سالگی مرد. 15-17 مهللئيل: وقتی مهللئيل شصت و پنج ساله بود، پسرش يارد به دنيا آمد. پس از تولد يارد، مهللئيل ۸۳۰ سال ديگر عمر كرد و صاحب پسران و دختران شد. او در سن ۸۹۵ سالگی مرد. 18-20 يارد: وقتی يارد ۱۶۲ ساله بود، پسرش خنوخ به دنيا آمد. بعد از تولد خنوخ، يارد ۸۰۰ سال ديگر عمر كرد و صاحب پسران و دختران شد. يارد در سن ۹۶۲ سالگی مرد. 21-24 خنوخ: وقتی خنوخ شصت و پنج ساله بود، پسرش متوشالح به دنيا آمد. بعد از تولد متوشالح، خنوخ ۳۰۰ سال ديگر با خدا زيست. او صاحب پسران و دخترانی شد و ۳۶۵ سال زندگی كرد. خنوخ با خدا میزيست و خدا او را به حضور خود به بالا برد و ديگر كسی او را نديد. 25-27 متوشالح: وقتی متوشالح ۱۸۷ ساله بود، پسرش لمک به دنيا آمد. بعد از تولد لمک، متوشالح ۷۸۲ سال ديگر زندگی كرد و صاحب پسران و دختران شد. متوشالح در سن ۹۶۹ سالگی مرد. 28-31 لمک: وقتی لمک ۱۸۲ ساله بود، پسرش نوح به دنيا آمد. لمک گفت: «اين پسر، ما را از كار سختِ زراعت كه در اثر لعنت خداوند بر زمين، دامنگير ما شده، آسوده خواهد كرد.» پس لمک اسم او را نوح (يعنی«آسودگی») گذاشت. بعد از تولد نوح، لمک ۵۹۵ سال ديگر عمر كرد و صاحب پسران و دختران شد. او در سن ۷۷۷ سالگی مرد. 32 نوح: نوح در سن ۵۰۰ سالگی صاحب سه پسر به نامهای سام، حام و يافث بود.
