Psalm 36

English Standard Version

from Crossway
1 To the choirmaster. Of David, the servant of the Lord. Transgression speaks to the wicked deep in his heart;[1] there is no fear of God before his eyes. (Ps 18:1; Ro 3:18)2 For he flatters himself in his own eyes that his iniquity cannot be found out and hated. (De 29:19; Ps 10:3; Ps 49:18)3 The words of his mouth are trouble and deceit; he has ceased to act wisely and do good. (Ps 12:2; Jer 4:22)4 He plots trouble while on his bed; he sets himself in a way that is not good; he does not reject evil. (Ps 10:7; Ps 97:10; Pr 4:16; Isa 65:2; Mic 2:1)5 Your steadfast love, O Lord, extends to the heavens, your faithfulness to the clouds.6 Your righteousness is like the mountains of God; your judgments are like the great deep; man and beast you save, O Lord. (Ne 9:6; Ps 71:19; Ps 92:5; Ps 104:14; Ps 145:9; Ps 145:15; Ro 11:33)7 How precious is your steadfast love, O God! The children of mankind take refuge in the shadow of your wings. (Ru 2:12; Ps 31:19)8 They feast on the abundance of your house, and you give them drink from the river of your delights. (Ps 16:11; Ps 23:5; Ps 27:4; Ps 46:4; Ps 65:4; Isa 25:6; Jer 31:12; Re 22:1)9 For with you is the fountain of life; in your light do we see light. (Jer 2:13; Joh 1:9; Joh 4:10; Joh 4:14; Joh 5:26; Ac 26:18; 1Pe 2:9)10 Oh, continue your steadfast love to those who know you, and your righteousness to the upright of heart! (Ps 7:10; Ps 79:6; Jer 22:16; Ga 4:9)11 Let not the foot of arrogance come upon me, nor the hand of the wicked drive me away.12 There the evildoers lie fallen; they are thrust down, unable to rise. (Ps 1:5; Ps 94:4)

Psalm 36

Nueva Versión Internacional

from Biblica
