Save Me, O My God

1 A Psalm of David, when he fled from Absalom his son. O Lord, how many are my foes! Many are rising against me; (2Sa 15:12; 2Sa 15:14; 2Sa 18:31) 

2 many are saying of my soul, “There is no salvation for him in God.” (2Sa 16:8; Ps 71:11) 

3 But you, O Lord, are a shield about me, my glory, and the lifter of my head. (Ge 15:1; Job 1:10; Job 10:15; Ps 27:5; Ps 28:7; Ps 84:9; Ps 119:114) 

4 I cried aloud to the Lord, and he answered me from his holy hill. (Ps 2:6; Ps 6:8; Ps 34:4; Ps 34:6; Ps 60:5; Ps 77:1; Ps 108:6; Ps 142:1) 

5 I lay down and slept; I woke again, for the Lord sustained me. (Le 26:6; Job 11:18; Ps 4:8; Pr 3:24) 

6 I will not be afraid of many thousands of people who have set themselves against me all around. (1Ki 20:12; Ps 23:4; Ps 27:3; Isa 22:7) 

7 Arise, O Lord! Save me, O my God! For you strike all my enemies on the cheek; you break the teeth of the wicked. (Nu 10:35; Job 16:10; Job 29:17; Ps 7:6; Ps 9:19; Ps 10:12; Ps 58:6) 

8 Salvation belongs to the Lord; your blessing be on your people! (Ps 37:39; Ps 62:7; Isa 43:11; Isa 45:21; Jer 3:23; Ho 13:4; Jon 2:9; Re 7:10; Re 19:1)

Un psalm al lui David, compus pe vremea când fugea dinaintea fiului său Absalom.

1 DOAMNE, ce mulți îmi sunt vrăjmașii! Mulți sunt cei ce se ridică împotriva mea! (2Sa 15:13) 

2 Mulți spun sufletului meu: „Nu mai este izbăvire pentru el la Dumnezeu!“ Selah 

3 Dar Tu, DOAMNE, îmi ești scut! Tu ești slava mea, ești Acela Care îmi ridici capul! 

4 Cu glasul meu am strigat către DOMNUL, și El mi‑a răspuns din muntele Lui cel sfânt. Selah 

5 Eu mă culc, adorm și mă trezesc iarăși, căci DOMNUL mă sprijină. 

6 Nu mă tem de zecile de mii de popoare care se ridică împotriva mea din toate părțile. 

7 Ridică‑Te, DOAMNE! Izbăvește‑mă, Dumnezeul meu! Tu‑i lovești peste obraz pe toți dușmanii mei și zdrobești dinții celor răi. 

8 A DOMNULUI este izbăvirea! Fie binecuvântarea Ta peste poporul Tău! Selah
