1A Psalm of David. The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof,[1] the world and those who dwell therein, (Ex 9:29; Ex 19:5; De 10:14; Job 41:11; Ps 50:12; Ps 89:11; 1Co 10:26)2for he has founded it upon the seas and established it upon the rivers. (Ge 1:9; Job 38:6; Ps 104:5; Ps 136:6; Pr 8:29)3Who shall ascend the hill of the Lord? And who shall stand in his holy place? (Ps 2:6; Ps 15:1)4He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to what is false and does not swear deceitfully. (De 10:12; Job 22:30; Ps 31:6; Ps 73:1; Ps 119:37; Isa 33:15; Eze 18:6; Mic 6:8; Mt 5:8)5He will receive blessing from the Lord and righteousness from the God of his salvation. (Ge 22:17; Ps 27:9; Ps 38:22; Ps 51:14; Ps 88:1; Isa 46:13; Isa 56:1)6Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek the face of the God of Jacob.[2] (Ps 14:5; Ps 27:8; Ps 105:4)7Lift up your heads, O gates! And be lifted up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. (Ps 118:19; Isa 26:2; 1Co 2:8)8Who is this King of glory? The Lord, strong and mighty, the Lord, mighty in battle! (Ex 15:3)9Lift up your heads, O gates! And lift them up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in.10Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, he is the King of glory! (Mal 1:14)
1The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it;2for he founded it on the seas and established it on the waters.3Who may ascend the mountain of the Lord? Who may stand in his holy place?4The one who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not trust in an idol or swear by a false god.[1]5They will receive blessing from the Lord and vindication from God their Saviour.6Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek your face, God of Jacob.[2]7Lift up your heads, you gates; be lifted up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in.8Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.9Lift up your heads, you gates; lift them up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in.10Who is he, this King of glory? The Lord Almighty – he is the King of glory.
1The earth belongs to the LORD. And so does everything in it. The world belongs to him. And so do all those who live in it.2He set it firmly on the oceans. He made it secure on the waters.3Who can go up to the temple on the mountain of the LORD? Who can stand in his holy place?4Anyone who has clean hands and a pure heart. Anyone who does not trust in the statue of a god. Anyone who doesn’t use the name of that god when he makes a promise.5People like that will receive the LORD’s blessing. When God their Saviour hands down his sentence, it will be in their favour.6The people who look to God are like that. God of Jacob, they look to you.7Open wide, you gates. Open up, you ancient doors. Then the King of glory will come in.8Who is the King of glory? The LORD, who is strong and mighty. The LORD, who is mighty in battle.9Open wide, you gates. Open wide, you ancient doors. Then the King of glory will come in.10Who is he, this King of glory? The LORD who rules over all. He is the King of glory.

King James Version
1A Psalm of David. The earth is the LORD's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.2For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.3Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place?4He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.5He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.6This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah.7Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.8Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.9Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.10Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah.
1Ein Psalm Davids.
wer darf stehn an seiner heiligen Stätte?
[Sela]
