1 A Psalm of David. I will sing of steadfast love and justice; to you, O Lord, I will make music. (Ex 34:7) 2 I will ponder the way that is blameless. Oh when will you come to me? I will walk with integrity of heart within my house; (Ex 20:24; 1Ki 9:4; Ps 4:4; Ps 78:72; Ps 119:1; Pr 11:20; Mt 5:48; Joh 14:23) 3 I will not set before my eyes anything that is worthless. I hate the work of those who fall away; it shall not cling to me. (De 15:9; Ps 40:4) 4 A perverse heart shall be far from me; I will know nothing of evil. (Pr 11:20; Pr 17:20; 1Co 5:11) 5 Whoever slanders his neighbor secretly I will destroy. Whoever has a haughty look and an arrogant heart I will not endure. (Ps 15:3; Ps 18:27; Ps 101:8; Ps 131:1; Pr 6:17; Pr 16:5; Pr 21:4; Pr 30:13) 6 I will look with favor on the faithful in the land, that they may dwell with me; he who walks in the way that is blameless shall minister to me. (Ps 119:1; Pr 11:20; Mt 5:48) 7 No one who practices deceit shall dwell in my house; no one who utters lies shall continue before my eyes. (Ps 52:2; Ps 102:28) 8 Morning by morning I will destroy all the wicked in the land, cutting off all the evildoers from the city of the Lord. (Ps 48:1; Ps 48:8; Ps 73:14; Ps 75:10; Ps 94:4; Isa 52:1)

1 Ein Psalm Davids. Von Gnade und Recht will ich singen und dir, HERR, Lob sagen. 2 Ich will mich halten an den rechten Weg. / Wann kommst du zu mir? Ich wandle mit lauterem Herzen in meinem Hause. 3 Ich nehme mir keine böse Sache vor; ich hasse es, Unrecht zu tun, das soll nicht an mir haften. (Pr 20:8; Pr 20:28) 4 Ein falsches Herz muss von mir weichen. Böses leide ich nicht. 5 Wer seinen Nächsten heimlich verleumdet, den bring ich zum Schweigen. Ich mag den nicht, der stolze Gebärde und Hochmut hat. 6 Meine Augen sehen nach den Treuen im Lande, / dass sie bei mir wohnen; Wer auf rechtem Wege geht, der dient mir. (Pr 22:11) 7 Falsche Leute dürfen in meinem Hause nicht bleiben, die Lügner bestehen nicht vor mir. 8 Jeden Morgen bring ich zum Schweigen alle Frevler im Lande, dass ich alle Übeltäter ausrotte aus der Stadt des HERRN. (Pr 20:26)
