His Steadfast Love Endures Forever

A Psalm for giving thanks.

1 Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth! (Ps 66:1) 2 Serve the LORD with gladness! Come into his presence with singing! (Ps 2:11; Ps 95:2) 3 Know that the LORD, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his;^[1] we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. (1Ki 18:39; Job 10:3; Job 10:8; Ps 74:1; Ps 95:6; Isa 43:1; Eze 34:30)

4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name! 1 Ein Psalm zum Dankopfer. Jauchzet dem HERRN, alle Welt! 2 Dienet dem HERRN mit Freuden, kommt vor sein Angesicht mit Frohlocken! 3 Erkennet, dass der HERR Gott ist! Er hat uns gemacht und nicht wir selbst zu seinem Volk und zu Schafen seiner Weide.^[1] (Ps 95:7) 4 Gehet zu seinen Toren ein mit Danken, / zu seinen Vorhöfen mit Loben; danket ihm, lobet seinen Namen! (Ps 106:1) 5 Denn der HERR ist freundlich, / und seine Gnade währet ewig und seine Wahrheit für und für.
