Adam’s Descendants to Noah

1 This is the book of the generations of Adam. When God created man, he made him in the likeness of God. (Ge 1:26) 2 Male and female he created them, and he blessed them and named them Man^[1] when they were created. 3 When Adam had lived 130 years, he fathered a son in his own likeness, after his image, and named him Seth. (Ge 4:25) 4 The days of Adam after he fathered Seth were 800 years; and he had other sons and daughters. (1Ch 1:1; Lu 3:36) 5 Thus all the days that Adam lived were 930 years, and he died. (Ge 3:19) 6 When Seth had lived 105 years, he fathered Enosh. (Ge 4:26) 7 Seth lived after he fathered Enosh 807 years and had other sons and daughters. 8 Thus all the days of Seth were 912 years, and he died. 9 When Enosh had lived 90 years, he fathered Kenan. 10 Enosh lived after he fathered Kenan 815 years and had other sons and daughters. 11 Thus all the days of Enosh were 905 years, and he died. 12 When Kenan had lived 70 years, he fathered Mahalalel. 13 Kenan lived after he fathered Mahalalel 840 years and had other sons and daughters. 14 Thus all the days of Kenan were 910 years, and he died. 15 When Mahalalel had lived 65 years, he fathered Jared. 16 Mahalalel lived after he fathered Jared 830 years and had other sons and daughters. 17 Thus all the days of Mahalalel were 895 years, and he died. 18 When Jared had lived 162 years, he fathered Enoch. (Jud 1:14) 19 Jared lived after he fathered Enoch 800 years and had other sons and daughters. 20 Thus all the days of Jared were 962 years, and he died. 21 When Enoch had lived 65 years, he fathered Methuselah. 22 Enoch walked with God^[2] after he fathered Methuselah 300 years and had other sons and daughters. (Ge 5:24; Ge 6:9; Mic 6:8; Mal 2:6)

23 Thus all the days of Enoch were 365 years. 24 Enoch walked with God, and he was not,^[3] for God took him. (Ge 5:22; 2Ki 2:11; Heb 11:5) 25 When Methuselah had lived 187 years, he fathered Lamech. 26 Methuselah lived after he fathered Lamech 782 years and had other sons and daughters. 27 Thus all the days of Methuselah were 969 years, and he died. 28 When Lamech had lived 182 years, he fathered a son 29 and called his name Noah, saying, “Out of the ground that the Lord has cursed, this one shall bring us relief^[4] from our work and from the painful toil of our hands.” (Ge 3:17) 30 Lamech lived after he fathered Noah 595 years and had other sons and daughters. 31 Thus all the days of Lamech were 777 years, and he died. 32 After Noah was 500 years old, Noah fathered Shem, Ham, and Japheth. (Ge 6:10; Ge 10:21)

Als Gott den Menschen schuf, machte er ihn nach dem Bilde Gottes (Ge 1:26; 1Ch 1:1; Lu 3:37) 2 und schuf sie als Mann und Frau und segnete sie und gab ihnen den Namen »Mensch«^[1] zur Zeit, da sie geschaffen wurden. 3 Und Adam war 130 Jahre alt und zeugte einen Sohn, ihm gleich und nach seinem Bilde, und nannte ihn Set; (Ps 51:7; 1Co 15:49) 4 und lebte danach 800 Jahre und zeugte Söhne und Töchter, 5 dass sein ganzes Alter ward 930 Jahre, und starb. 6 Set war 105 Jahre alt und zeugte Enosch 7 und lebte danach 807 Jahre und zeugte Söhne und Töchter, 8 dass sein ganzes Alter ward 912 Jahre, und starb. 9 Enosch war 90 Jahre alt und zeugte Kenan 10 und lebte danach 815 Jahre und zeugte Söhne und Töchter, 11 dass sein ganzes Alter ward 905 Jahre, und starb. 12 Kenan war 70 Jahre alt und zeugte Mahalalel 13 und lebte danach 840 Jahre und zeugte Söhne und Töchter, 14 dass sein ganzes Alter ward 910 Jahre, und starb. 15 Mahalalel war 65 Jahre alt und zeugte Jered 16 und lebte danach 830 Jahre und zeugte Söhne und Töchter, 17 dass sein ganzes Alter ward 895 Jahre, und starb. 18 Jered war 162 Jahre alt und zeugte Henoch 19 und lebte danach 800 Jahre und zeugte Söhne und Töchter, 20 dass sein ganzes Alter ward 962 Jahre, und starb. 21 Henoch war 65 Jahre alt und zeugte Metuschelach. 22 Und Henoch wandelte mit Gott. Und nachdem er Metuschelach gezeugt hatte, lebte er 300 Jahre und zeugte Söhne und Töchter, (Ge 6:9) 23 dass sein ganzes Alter ward 365 Jahre. 24 Und Henoch wandelte mit Gott und ward nicht mehr gesehen, denn Gott hatte ihn entrückt. (2Ki 2:11; Heb 11:5) 25 Metuschelach war 187 Jahre alt und zeugte Lamech 26 und lebte danach 782 Jahre und zeugte Söhne und Töchter, 27 dass sein ganzes Alter ward 969 Jahre, und starb. 28 Lamech war 182 Jahre alt und zeugte einen Sohn 29 und nannte ihn Noah und sprach: Der wird uns trösten in unserer Arbeit und der Mühsal unserer Hände auf dem Acker, den der HERR verflucht hat. (Ge 3:17) 30 Danach lebte er 595 Jahre und zeugte Söhne und Töchter, 31 dass sein ganzes Alter ward 777 Jahre, und starb. 32 Noah war 500 Jahre alt und zeugte Sem, Ham und Jafet.
