1Then Moses answered, “But behold, they will not believe me or listen to my voice, for they will say, ‘The Lord did not appear to you.’”2The Lord said to him, “What is that in your hand?” He said, “A staff.” (Ex 4:17; Ex 4:20)3And he said, “Throw it on the ground.” So he threw it on the ground, and it became a serpent, and Moses ran from it.4But the Lord said to Moses, “Put out your hand and catch it by the tail”—so he put out his hand and caught it, and it became a staff in his hand—5“that they may believe that the Lord, the God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has appeared to you.” (Ex 3:6; Ex 19:9)6Again, the Lord said to him, “Put your hand inside your cloak.”[1] And he put his hand inside his cloak, and when he took it out, behold, his hand was leprous[2] like snow. (Nu 12:10; 2Ki 5:27)7Then God said, “Put your hand back inside your cloak.” So he put his hand back inside his cloak, and when he took it out, behold, it was restored like the rest of his flesh. (Ex 4:27)15You shall speak to him and put the words in his mouth, and I will be with your mouth and with his mouth and will teach you both what to do. Moses Returns to Egypt
18Moses went back to Jethro his father-in-law and said to him, “Please let me go back to my brothers in Egypt to see whether they are still alive.” And Jethro said to Moses, “Go in peace.” (Ex 2:18)19And the Lord said to Moses in Midian, “Go back to Egypt, for all the men who were seeking your life are dead.” (Ex 2:15; Ex 2:23; Mt 2:20)20So Moses took his wife and his sons and had them ride on a donkey, and went back to the land of Egypt. And Moses took the staff of God in his hand. (Ex 17:9; Ex 18:2; Nu 20:8)21And the Lord said to Moses, “When you go back to Egypt, see that you do before Pharaoh all the miracles that I have put in your power. But I will harden his heart, so that he will not let the people go. (Ex 3:20; Ex 7:13; Ex 7:22; Ex 8:15; Ex 8:32; Ex 9:12; Ex 9:35; Ex 10:1; Ex 14:8; De 2:30; Jos 11:20; Isa 63:17; Ro 9:17)22Then you shall say to Pharaoh, ‘Thus says the Lord, Israel is my firstborn son, (Jer 31:9; Ho 11:1)23and I say to you, “Let my son go that he may serve me.” If you refuse to let him go, behold, I will kill your firstborn son.’” (Ex 11:5; Ex 12:29)24At a lodging place on the way the Lord met him and sought to put him to death. It was then that she said, “A bridegroom of blood,” because of the circumcision.27The Lord said to Aaron, “Go into the wilderness to meet Moses.” So he went and met him at the mountain of God and kissed him. Moses Rückkehr nach Ägypten
18Mose ging hin und kam wieder zu Jitro, seinem Schwiegervater, und sprach zu ihm: Lass mich doch gehen, dass ich wieder zu meinen Brüdern komme, die in Ägypten sind, und sehe, ob sie noch leben. Jitro sprach zu ihm: Geh hin mit Frieden. (Ex 3:1)19Auch sprach der HERR zu Mose in Midian: Geh hin und zieh wieder nach Ägypten, denn die Leute sind alle tot, die dir nach dem Leben trachteten.20So nahm denn Mose seine Frau und seine Söhne und setzte sie auf einen Esel und zog wieder nach Ägyptenland und nahm den Stab Gottes in seine Hand. (Ex 2:22; Ex 18:3)21Und der HERR sprach zu Mose: Sieh zu, wenn du wieder nach Ägypten kommst, dass du alle die Wunder tust vor dem Pharao, die ich in deine Hand gegeben habe. Ich aber will sein Herz verstocken, dass er das Volk nicht ziehen lassen wird. (Jos 5:2)26Da ließ er von ihm ab. Sie sagte aber Blutbräutigam um der Beschneidung willen.27Und der HERR sprach zu Aaron: Geh hin Mose entgegen in die Wüste. Und er ging hin und begegnete ihm am Berge Gottes und küsste ihn.28Und Mose tat Aaron kund alle Worte des HERRN, die er ihm aufgetragen hatte, und alle Zeichen, die er ihm befohlen hatte.29Und sie gingen hin und versammelten alle Ältesten der Israeliten.30Und Aaron sagte alle Worte, die der HERR mit Mose geredet hatte, und Mose tat die Zeichen vor dem Volk.31Und das Volk glaubte.
