1Ask rain from the Lord in the season of the spring rain, from the Lord who makes the storm clouds, and he will give them showers of rain, to everyone the vegetation in the field. Therefore the people wander like sheep; they are afflicted for lack of a shepherd. (Ge 31:19; Jer 23:25; Eze 34:5; Hab 2:18)3“My anger is hot against the shepherds, and I will punish the leaders;[1] for the Lord of hosts cares for his flock, the house of Judah, and will make them like his majestic steed in battle. Und sie sollen sein, wie sie waren, als ich sie nicht verstoßen hatte; denn ich, der HERR, bin ihr Gott und will sie erhören.7Und Ephraim soll sein wie ein Held, und ihr Herz soll fröhlich werden wie vom Wein; ihre Söhne sollen’s sehen und sich freuen, ihr Herz soll fröhlich sein über den HERRN.8Ich will sie herbeipfeifen und sie sammeln, denn ich habe sie erlöst. Und sie sollen sich mehren, wie sie sich vormals gemehrt haben.9Ich säte sie unter die Völker, dass sie meiner gedächten in fernen Landen und leben sollten mit ihren Kindern und wieder heimkehren. (Isa 66:19; Jer 51:50)10Denn ich will sie zurückbringen aus Ägyptenland und sie sammeln aus Assyrien und will sie ins Land Gilead und zum Libanon bringen, dass man nicht Raum genug für sie finden wird. (Isa 49:19)11Und der HERR wird durchs Meer der Angst gehen und die Wellen im Meer schlagen und alle Tiefen des Nils vertrocknen lassen. Da soll dann zu Boden sinken die Pracht Assyriens, und das Zepter Ägyptens soll weichen. (Ex 14:16; Isa 11:15)12Ich will sie stärken in dem HERRN, dass sie wandeln sollen in seinem Namen, spricht der HERR.

Je les ramènerai, car j'ai compassion d'eux, et ils seront comme si je ne les avais pas rejetés, car je suis l'Eternel, leur Dieu, et je leur répondrai.7Ephraïm sera pareil à un héros; leur cœur aura la joie que donne le vin. Leurs fils le verront et seront dans l'allégresse, leur cœur se réjouira en l'Eternel.8Je sifflerai et je les rassemblerai, car je les rachète, et ils seront aussi nombreux qu'autrefois.9Quand je les aurai dispersés parmi les peuples, au loin ils se souviendront de moi; ils vivront avec leurs enfants et ils reviendront.10Je les ramènerai d'Egypte et je les rassemblerai de l'Assyrie. Je les ferai venir au pays de Galaad et au Liban, et l'espace ne leur suffira pas.11Il passera la mer de la détresse, il frappera les flots de la mer, et toutes les profondeurs du Nil seront à sec. L'orgueil de l'Assyrie sera abattu et le sceptre de l'Egypte disparaîtra.12Je les fortifierai en l'Eternel, et ils marcheront en son nom, déclare l'Eternel.
