(Ps 25:14; Joh 7:17; Joh 14:21)6For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding; (Job 32:8)7he stores up sound wisdom for the upright; he is a shield to those who walk in integrity, (Ps 3:3; Ps 84:11; Pr 30:5)8guarding the paths of justice and watching over the way of his saints. (1Sa 2:9; Ps 30:4; Ps 66:9; Ps 97:10)9Then you will understand righteousness and justice and equity, every good path; (Pr 1:3; Pr 2:5)10for wisdom will come into your heart, and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul;11discretion will watch over you, understanding will guard you, (Pr 1:4; Pr 6:22)12delivering you from the way of evil, from men of perverted speech,13who forsake the paths of uprightness to walk in the ways of darkness, (Ps 82:5; Joh 3:19)14who rejoice in doing evil and delight in the perverseness of evil, (Ps 50:18; Pr 10:23; Jer 11:15; Ro 1:32)15men whose paths are crooked, and who are devious in their ways. (Ps 125:5; Pr 3:32; Pr 14:2; Pr 21:8)16So you will be delivered from the forbidden[1] woman, from the adulteress[2] with her smooth words, (Ps 5:9; Pr 6:24; Pr 7:5; Pr 23:27)17who forsakes the companion of her youth and forgets the covenant of her God; (Ps 55:13; Jer 3:4; Mal 2:14)18for her house sinks down to death, and her paths to the departed;[3] (Pr 7:27)19none who go to her come back, nor do they regain the paths of life.20So you will walk in the way of the good and keep to the paths of the righteous.21For the upright will inhabit the land, and those with integrity will remain in it, (Pr 10:30)22but the wicked will be cut off from the land, and the treacherous will be rooted out of it. (Ps 7:11)8Er behütet, die recht tun, und bewahrt den Weg seiner Getreuen.9Dann wirst du verstehen Gerechtigkeit und Recht und Frömmigkeit und jeden guten Weg.10Denn Weisheit wird in dein Herz eingehen, und Erkenntnis wird deiner Seele lieblich sein, (1Co 1:30)11Besonnenheit wird dich bewahren und Einsicht dich behüten, –12dich zu retten vor dem Weg der Bösen, vor den Leuten, die Falsches reden,13die da verlassen die rechte Bahn und gehen finstere Wege,14die sich freuen, Böses zu tun, und sind fröhlich über böse Ränke,15die krumme Wege gehen und auf Abwege kommen, –16dich zu retten vor der fremden Frau, einer Fremden, die glatte Worte gibt17und verlässt den Gefährten ihrer Jugend und vergisst den Bund ihres Gottes;18denn ihr Haus neigt sich zum Tode und ihre Wege zu den Schatten;19alle, die zu ihr eingehen, kommen nicht wieder und erreichen den Weg des Lebens nicht, –20dass du wandelst auf dem Wege der Guten und bleibst auf der Bahn der Gerechten;21denn die Aufrechten werden im Lande wohnen und die Frommen darin bleiben, (Ps 37:9; Mt 5:5)22aber die Gottlosen werden aus dem Land ausgerottet und die Treulosen daraus vertilgt. 1Mon fils, si tu fais bon accueil à mes paroles et si tu retiens mes commandements2en prêtant une oreille attentive à la sagesse et en inclinant ton cœur à l'intelligence,3oui, si tu appelles la sagesse et si tu élèves ta voix vers l'intelligence,4si tu la cherches comme l'argent, si tu la poursuis comme un trésor,5alors tu comprendras ce qu'est la crainte de l'Eternel et tu trouveras la connaissance de Dieu.6En effet, c'est l'Eternel qui donne la sagesse, c'est de sa bouche que sortent la connaissance et l'intelligence.7Il tient le succès en réserve pour les hommes droits, il est un bouclier pour ceux qui marchent dans l'intégrité.8Il protège ainsi les sentiers de l'équité et il veille sur le chemin de ses fidèles.9Tu comprendras alors ce que sont la justice, l'équité, la droiture, toutes les routes qui mènent au bien.10En effet, la sagesse viendra dans ton cœur et la connaissance fera les délices de ton âme;11la réflexion veillera sur toi, l'intelligence te protégera,12et ainsi tu seras délivré de la voie du mal, de l'homme qui tient des discours pervers,13de ceux qui abandonnent les sentiers de la droiture pour marcher dans des chemins ténébreux,14qui éprouvent de la joie à faire le mal, qui mettent leur plaisir dans la perversité,15qui suivent des sentiers tortueux et des routes pleines de détours.16Tu seras délivré de la femme étrangère, de l'inconnue au discours flatteur17qui abandonne l'ami de sa jeunesse et qui oublie l'alliance de son Dieu.18En effet, sa maison penche vers la mort et sa route conduit vers les défunts:19aucun de ceux qui vont vers elle ne revient ni ne retrouve les sentiers de la vie.20Tu marcheras ainsi sur la voie des hommes de bien, tu persévéreras sur les sentiers des justes.21En effet, les hommes droits habiteront le pays, les hommes intègres y resteront,22tandis que les méchants seront exclus du pays, les infidèles en seront arrachés.
