1Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, you who lead Joseph like a flock. You who are enthroned upon the cherubim, shine forth. (Ex 25:22; 1Sa 4:4; 2Sa 6:2; Ps 50:2; Ps 78:67; Ps 81:5; Ps 95:7; Ps 99:1)2Before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh, stir up your might and come to save us! (Ps 44:13)7Restore us, O God of hosts; let your face shine, that we may be saved! (Ps 80:3)8You brought a vine out of Egypt; you drove out the nations and planted it. Look down from heaven, and see; have regard for this vine, (Isa 63:15)15the stock that your right hand planted, and for the son whom you made strong for yourself.16They have burned it with fire; they have cut it down; may they perish at the rebuke of your face! (Ps 39:11; Ps 76:6; Isa 33:12)17But let your hand be on the man of your right hand, the son of man whom you have made strong for yourself! (Ho 10:1)13Warum hast du denn seine Mauern zerbrochen, dass jeder seine Früchte abreißt, der vorübergeht?14Es haben ihn zerwühlt die wilden Säue, und die Tiere des Feldes haben ihn abgeweidet.15Gott Zebaoth, wende dich doch! / Schau vom Himmel und sieh, nimm dich dieses Weinstocks an!16Schütze doch, was deine Rechte gepflanzt hat, den Sohn, den du dir großgezogen hast! (Ho 11:1)17Sie haben ihn mit Feuer verbrannt wie Kehricht; vor dem Drohen deines Angesichts sollen sie umkommen. (Eze 15:2)18Deine Hand schütze den Mann deiner Rechten, den Sohn, den du dir großgezogen hast.19So wollen wir nicht von dir weichen. Porgi orecchio, o Pastore d’Israele, che guidi Giuseppe come un gregge; o tu che siedi sopra i cherubini[1], fa’ risplendere la tua gloria!2Davanti a Efraim, a Beniamino e a Manasse, risveglia la tua potenza e vieni a salvarci!3O Dio, ristoraci, fa’ risplendere il tuo volto e saremo salvi.4Signore, Dio degli eserciti, fino a quando sarai irritato contro la preghiera del tuo popolo?5Tu li hai cibati di pane intriso di pianto e li hai dissetati con lacrime in abbondanza.6Tu ci hai resi oggetto di contesa per i vicini, e i nostri nemici ridono di noi.7O Dio degli eserciti, ristoraci, fa’ risplendere il tuo volto e saremo salvi.8Portasti fuori dall’Egitto una vite; scacciasti le nazioni per piantarla;9tu sgombrasti il terreno ed essa mise radici e riempì la terra.10I monti furono coperti della sua ombra e i suoi tralci furono come cedri altissimi.11Stese i suoi rami fino al mare e i suoi germogli sino al fiume.12Perché hai rotto i suoi recinti e tutti i passanti la spogliano?13Il cinghiale del bosco la devasta, le bestie della campagna ne fanno il loro pascolo.14O Dio degli eserciti, ritorna; guarda dal cielo, e vedi, e visita questa vigna;15proteggi quel che la tua destra ha piantato, e il germoglio che hai fatto crescere forte per te.16Essa è arsa dal fuoco, è recisa; il popolo perisce alla minaccia del tuo volto.17Sia la tua mano sull’uomo della tua destra, sul figlio dell’uomo che hai reso forte per te,18e noi non ci allontaneremo da te. Facci rivivere, e noi invocheremo il tuo nome.19Signore, Dio degli eserciti, ristoraci, fa’ risplendere il tuo volto e saremo salvi.
