Sing to the Lord a New Song

1 Praise the LORD! Sing to the LORD a new song, his praise in the assembly of the godly! (Ps 33:3; Ps 89:5; Ps 89:7; Ps 148:14)

6 Let the high praises of God be in their throats and two-edged swords in their hands, (Ps 66:17; Pr 5:4; Heb 4:12; Re 1:16; Re 2:12)

7 to execute vengeance on the nations and punishments on the peoples, 8 to bind their kings with chains and their nobles with fetters of iron, (Job 36:8) 9 to execute on them the judgment written! This is honor for all his godly ones. Praise the LORD! (Job 13:26; Ps 148:14; Isa 65:6)

Zion lobe den Herrn!

1 Halleluja! Singet dem HERRN ein neues Lied; die Gemeinde der Heiligen soll ihn loben. (Ps 33:3) 2 Israel freue sich seines Schöpfers, die Kinder Zions seien fröhlich über ihren König. (Ps 93:1; Ps 100:3) 3 Sie sollen loben seinen Namen im Reigen, mit Pauken und Harfen sollen sie ihm spielen. 4 Denn der HERR hat Wohlgefallen an seinem Volk, er hilft den Elenden herrlich. 5 Die Heiligen sollen fröhlich sein in Herrlichkeit und rühmen auf ihren Lagern. 6 Ihr Mund soll Gott erheben; sie sollen scharfe Schwerter in ihren Händen halten, 7 dass sie Rache üben unter den Völkern, Strafe unter den Nationen, 8 ihre Könige zu binden mit Ketten und ihre Edlen mit eisernen Fesseln, 9 dass sie an ihnen vollziehen das Gericht, wie geschrieben ist. Solche Ehre werden alle seine Heiligen haben. Halleluja! (Isa 34:1; Isa 63:4; Joe 4:2)

Lode a Dio per i suoi giudizi

1 Alleluia. Cantate al Signore un cantico nuovo, cantate la sua lode nell’assemblea dei fedeli. 2 Si rallegri Israele in colui che lo ha fatto, esultino i figli di Sion nel loro re. 3 Lodino il suo nome con danze, salmeggino a lui con il tamburello e la cetra, 4 perché il Signore gradisce il suo popolo e adorna di salvezza gli umili. 5 Esultino i fedeli nella gloria, cantino di gioia sui loro letti. 6 Abbiano in bocca le lodi di Dio, e una spada a due tagli in mano 7 per punire le nazioni e infliggere castighi ai popoli; 8 per legare i loro re con catene e i loro nobili con ceppi di ferro, 9 per eseguire su di loro il giudizio scritto. Questo è l’onore riservato a tutti i suoi fedeli. Alleluia.
