Der ewige König und Priester

2 Der HERR wird das Zepter deiner Macht ausstrecken aus Zion. Herrsche inmitten deiner Feinde! (Ps 2:6) 3 Wenn du dein Heer aufbietest, wird dir dein Volk willig folgen in heiligem Schmuck. Aus dem Schoß der Morgenröte habe ich dich geboren wie den Tau. 4 Der HERR hat geschworen und es wird ihn nicht gereuen: »Du bist ein Priester ewiglich nach der Weise Melchisedeks.« (Ge 14:18; Heb 5:6; Heb 5:10; Heb 6:20; Heb 7:17; Heb 7:21)

5 Der Herr zu deiner Rechten wird zerschmettern die Könige am Tage seines Zorns. (Ps 2:2; Ps 2:5; Ps 2:9) 6 Er wird richten unter den Völkern, / aufhäufen Erschlagene, wird Häupter zerschmettern weithin auf der Erde. (Da 2:44) 7 Er wird trinken vom Bach auf dem Wege, darum wird er das Haupt emporheben.

Il Messia, Re e Sacerdote

1 Salmo di Davide. Il Signore ha detto al mio Signore: «Siedi alla mia destra finché io abbia fatto dei tuoi nemici lo sgabello dei tuoi piedi^[1]». 2 Il Signore stenderà da Sion lo scettro del tuo potere. Domina in mezzo ai tuoi nemici! 3 Il tuo popolo si offre volenteroso quando raduni il tuo esercito. Parata di santità, dal seno dell’alba la tua gioventù viene a te come rugiada. 4 Il Signore ha giurato e non si pentirà: «Tu sei Sacerdote in eterno, secondo l’ordine di Melchisedec^[2]». 5 Il Signore, alla tua destra, schiaccia dei re nel giorno della sua ira, 6 giudica i popoli, ammucchia i cadaveri, stritola la testa ai nemici in un vasto territorio. 7 Si disseta al torrente lungo il cammino e perciò terrà alta la testa.
