The Righteous Will Never Be Moved

1  Praise the LORD! Blessed is the man who fears the LORD, who greatly delights in his commandments! (Ps 1:2; Ps 104:35; Ps 111:10; Ps 115:13; Ps 128:1; Ps 128:4) 

2 His offspring will be mighty in the land; the generation of the upright will be blessed. (Ps 25:13; Ps 37:26; Ps 102:28; Pr 11:21; Pr 20:7) 

3 Wealth and riches are in his house, and his righteousness endures forever. (Ps 111:3; Pr 3:16) 

4 Light dawns in the darkness for the upright; he is gracious, merciful, and righteous. (Job 11:17; Mt 1:19) 

5 It is well with the man who deals generously and lends; who conducts his affairs with justice. (Ps 37:26) 

6 For the righteous will never be moved; he will be remembered forever. (Ps 55:22; Pr 10:7) 

7 He is not afraid of bad news; his heart is firm, trusting in the LORD. (Ps 11:1; Ps 57:7; Ps 64:10; Pr 1:33) 

8 His heart is steady; he will not be afraid, until he looks in triumph on his adversaries. 

9 He has distributed freely; he has given to the poor; his righteousness endures forever; his horn is exalted in honor. (Ps 75:10; 2Co 9:9) 

10 The wicked man sees it and is angry; he gnashes his teeth and melts away; the desire of the wicked will perish! (Job 8:13; Ps 58:8; Mt 8:12; Lu 13:28)

1 Louez l'Éternel! Heureux l'homme qui craint l'Éternel, Qui trouve un grand plaisir à ses commandements. 

2 Sa postérité sera puissante sur la terre, La génération des hommes droits sera bénie. 

3 Il a dans sa maison bien-être et richesse, Et sa justice subsiste à jamais. 

4 La lumière se lève dans les ténèbres pour les hommes droits, Pour celui qui est miséricordieux, compatissant et juste. 

5 Heureux l'homme qui exerce la miséricorde et qui prête. Qui règle ses actions d'après la justice. 

6 Car il ne chancelle jamais; La mémoire du juste dure toujours. 

7 Il ne craint point les mauvaises nouvelles; Son coeur est ferme, confiant en l'Éternel. 

8 Son coeur est affermi; il n'a point de crainte, Jusqu'à ce qu'il mette son plaisir à regarder ses adversaires. 

9 Il fait des largesses, il donne aux indigents; Sa justice subsiste à jamais; Sa tête s'élève avec gloire, 

10 Le méchant le voit et s'irrite, Il grince les dents et se consume; Les désirs des méchants périssent.
