1It was now two days before the Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread. And the chief priests and the scribes were seeking how to arrest him by stealth and kill him, (Mt 21:46; Mt 26:2; Lu 22:1; Lu 22:2; Joh 6:4; Joh 11:53)2for they said, “Not during the feast, lest there be an uproar from the people.” (Mt 27:24)
Jesus Anointed at Bethany
3And while he was at Bethany in the house of Simon the leper,[1] as he was reclining at table, a woman came with an alabaster flask of ointment of pure nard, very costly, and she broke the flask and poured it over his head. Peter Denies Jesus

Elle tenait un vase d'albâtre, qui renfermait un parfum de nard pur de grand prix; et, ayant rompu le vase, elle répandit le parfum sur la tête de Jésus.4Quelques-uns exprimèrent entre eux leur indignation: A quoi bon perdre ce parfum?5On aurait pu le vendre plus de trois cents deniers, et les donner aux pauvres. Et ils s'irritaient contre cette femme.6Mais Jésus dit: Laissez-la. Pourquoi lui faites-vous de la peine?
