(Ps 101:1; Pr 16:10)2Unparteiisch soll er dein Volk regieren und den Entrechteten zu ihrem Recht verhelfen!3Unter seiner gerechten Herrschaft wird das Volk dann in Frieden leben und Wohlstand haben im ganzen Land mit seinen Bergen und Hügeln!4Den Benachteiligten soll er Recht verschaffen und den Bedürftigen Hilfe bringen; aber die Unterdrücker soll er zertreten! (Ps 9:13)5Der König soll leben,[1] solange Sonne und Mond uns leuchten, unzählige Generationen lang! (Ps 61:7; Ps 72:17)6Er gleiche dem Regen, der auf die Wiesen fällt und das trockene Land durchfeuchtet!7Unter seiner Regierung blühe das Recht[2] und der Wohlstand wachse, bis es keinen Mond mehr gibt!8Seine Herrschaft reiche von Meer zu Meer, vom Eufratstrom bis zu den Enden der Erde! (Ps 2:8)9Verneigen sollen sich vor ihm die Wüstenstämme, seine Feinde müssen sich niederwerfen!10Die Könige von Tarschisch und vom Ende der Erde sollen ihm Geschenke senden! Die von Saba und Seba sollen ihm Tribut entrichten! (Ps 68:30; Ps 68:32)11Huldigen sollen ihm alle Herrscher und alle Völker sollen ihm dienen!12Er rettet die Bedürftigen, die zu ihm schreien, die Entrechteten, die keinen Helfer haben.13Er kümmert sich um die Schwachen und Armen und sorgt dafür, dass sie am Leben bleiben.14Er befreit sie von Gewalt und Unterdrückung, denn vor ihm hat ihr Leben einen Wert. (Ps 116:15)15Der König soll leben! Man bringe ihm das Gold von Saba; man bete jederzeit für ihn und wünsche ihm alle Tage Segen!16Der Weizen wachse im ganzen Land, bis hinauf auf die Gipfel der Berge, dicht und wogend wie die Wälder hoch oben auf dem Libanon! Die Städte sollen blühen und gedeihen wie die satten grünen Wiesen!17Der Name des Königs werde nie vergessen, sein Ruhm nehme zu, solange die Sonne besteht! Wenn Menschen einander Segen wünschen, sollen sie sagen: »Gott segne dich, wie er den König gesegnet hat!« Und alle Völker sollen ihn glücklich preisen!18Gepriesen sei der HERR, der Gott Israels, der Einzige, der Wunder vollbringt!19Sein ruhmreicher Name sei für immer gepriesen, seine Macht setze sich durch in aller Welt!
