The Enticement of Sinners
8Hear, my son, your father’s instruction, and forsake not your mother’s teaching, (Ps 34:11; Pr 6:20; Eph 6:1)9for they are a graceful garland for your head and pendants for your neck. The Call of Wisdom
20Wisdom cries aloud in the street, in the markets she raises her voice; (Pr 8:1; Pr 9:3; Joh 7:37)21at the head of the noisy streets she cries out; at the entrance of the city gates she speaks: (Pr 8:3)22“How long, O simple ones, will you love being simple? How long will scoffers delight in their scoffing and fools hate knowledge? Warnung vor schlechtem Umgang
8Mein Sohn,[2] höre auf deinen Vater und deine Mutter und folge ihrem Rat! (Ex 20:12; Pr 6:20; Pr 13:1; Pr 23:22; Pr 30:17; Sir 3:1)9Das schmückt dich wie ein prächtiger Kranz auf dem Kopf oder wie eine Halskette.10Lass dich nicht von gewissenlosen Menschen verführen,11die zu dir sagen: »Komm, geh mit uns! Wir legen uns auf die Lauer! Wenn Leute vorbeikommen, schlagen wir sie tot, einfach so!12Wir machen es wie der Tod: Wir reißen sie mitten aus dem Leben heraus und befördern sie, so wie sie sind, ins Grab.13Ihr Hab und Gut nehmen wir und füllen unsere Häuser damit.14Die Beute teilen wir miteinander. Komm, mach mit!«15Mein Sohn, mach nicht gemeinsame Sache mit diesen Verbrechern,16denn auf Schritt und Tritt haben sie nichts als Bosheit und Mord im Sinn!17Die Vögel beachten das ausgespannte Netz nicht und fliegen hinein.18Genauso machen es diese Verbrecher:[3] Sie lauern sich selbst auf und stellen dem eigenen Leben nach.19Alle, die auf krummen Wegen reich werden wollen, nehmen ein solches Ende: Dem Räuber raubt sein Raub das Leben!
Die Weisheit mahnt
20Die Weisheit ruft auf den Straßen, auf den Plätzen erschallt ihre Stimme; (Pr 8:1; Pr 9:3)21wo die Leute sich treffen, hört man sie, am Stadttor trägt sie ihre Rede vor:22»Wann werdet ihr endlich reif und erwachsen, unreife Grünschnäbel, die ihr seid? Ihr unverbesserlichen Schwätzer, wie lange wollt ihr euch nicht bessern? Wann kommt ihr endlich zur Einsicht, ihr alle, die ihr mich missachtet?23Nehmt euch doch meine Mahnung zu Herzen! Dann öffne ich euch den Schatz meines Wissens und gebe euch davon, soviel ihr wollt.24Ich habe immer wieder geredet, doch ihr habt gar nicht zugehört. Mit erhobener Hand habe ich gerufen und niemand hat darauf geachtet. (Isa 65:2; Isa 65:12; Jer 25:1)25Ihr habt euch nicht zurechtweisen lassen und jeden Rat in den Wind geschlagen.26Wartet ab, das Unglück kommt bestimmt! Dann werde ich es sein, die lacht! Dann ist die Reihe an mir, zu spotten,27wenn Angst und Schrecken über euch kommen wie ein fürchterlicher Gewittersturm,28Dann schreit ihr nach mir, doch ich antworte nicht, ihr werdet mich suchen und nirgends finden. (Jer 11:11; Am 8:11; Mic 3:4)29Wenn ihr euch jeder Einsicht verschließt und euch weigert, den HERRN ernst zu nehmen,30wenn ihr meine Ratschläge von euch weist und auf keine von meinen Warnungen hört,31dann müsst ihr die Folgen tragen und auslöffeln, was ihr euch eingebrockt habt. (Isa 3:10)32Alle, die sich nichts sagen lassen, gehen an ihrer Halsstarrigkeit zugrunde, und die Sorglosen und Selbstsicheren bringt ihr Eigensinn ums Leben.33Doch alle, die auf mich hören, haben nichts zu befürchten, Not und Unglück bleiben ihnen erspart.«
