1In that day this song will be sung in the land of Judah: “We have a strong city; he sets up salvation as walls and bulwarks. (Isa 9:7; Mic 5:5)13O Lord our God, other lords besides you have ruled over us, but your name alone we bring to remembrance. (2Ki 16:3; 2Ki 18:4; Ps 20:7; Isa 2:8; Isa 2:20)14They are dead, they will not live; they are shades, they will not arise; to that end you have visited them with destruction and wiped out all remembrance of them.15But you have increased the nation, O Lord, you have increased the nation; you are glorified; you have enlarged all the borders of the land. (Isa 9:3; Isa 54:2)16O Lord, in distress they sought you; they poured out a whispered prayer when your discipline was upon them. (Isa 37:1; Ho 5:15)17Like a pregnant woman who writhes and cries out in her pangs when she is near to giving birth, so were we because of you, O Lord; (Isa 13:8)18we were pregnant, we writhed, but we have given birth to wind. We have accomplished no deliverance in the earth, and the inhabitants of the world have not fallen. (Isa 26:17)19Your dead shall live; their bodies shall rise. You who dwell in the dust, awake and sing for joy! For your dew is a dew of light, and the earth will give birth to the dead. (Eze 37:12; Da 12:2; Ho 13:14; Ho 14:5)20Come, my people, enter your chambers, and shut your doors behind you; hide yourselves for a little while until the fury has passed by. (Isa 10:25)21For behold, the Lord is coming out from his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity, and the earth will disclose the blood shed on it, and will no more cover its slain. 1Zu der Zeit wird man im Land Juda dieses Lied singen: »Fest und stark ist unsre Stadt! Ihren Wall und ihre Mauer hat der HERR zum Schutz errichtet. (Ps 48:13)2Macht die Tore auf für alle, die dem HERRN gehorsam folgen, die in Treue zu ihm halten, (Ps 118:19)3sich durch nichts beirren lassen. Heil und Frieden gibt er ihnen, weil sie sich auf ihn verlassen.4Setzt für immer das Vertrauen auf den HERRN, der unser Gott ist, unser Fels für alle Zeiten! (Ps 18:3; Isa 8:14)5Tief erniedrigt hat er alle, die in stolzer Höhe wohnten. Ihre Stadt, sonst unbezwingbar, hat er bis zum Grund zerschlagen und sie in den Staub geworfen. (Isa 25:2; Isa 25:12)6Arme und geringe Leute dürfen nun die Stadt zertreten, Menschen ohne eigene Macht.«
Gebet in der letzten Zeit
7Allen, die auf dich hören, HERR, bahnst du einen geraden Weg; der Pfad, auf dem sie gehen, führt geradeaus zum Ziel.8Auch dann, wenn du uns strafen musst, warten wir voller Hoffnung auf dich. Zu dir zu rufen, HERR, an dich zu denken, das ist unser größtes Verlangen.9Bei Nacht sehnt sich mein Herz nach dir, mit tiefer Sehnsucht schau ich nach dir aus. Wenn du deine Urteile auf der Erde vollstreckst, dann lernen die Menschen, das Recht zu achten. (Ps 119:55)10Doch alle, die nicht auf dich hören wollen, werden niemals lernen, was Recht ist, wenn du sie straffrei ausgehen lässt. Sogar in diesem Land, wo dein Recht gilt, verdrehen sie es und tun weiter Unrecht; sie sehen dich nicht in deiner Hoheit.11HERR, deine Hand ist drohend erhoben, doch deine Feinde sehen es nicht. Lass sie zu ihrer Beschämung erkennen, wie leidenschaftlich du dein Volk verteidigst! Das Feuer soll sie alle vernichten!12HERR, du wirst uns Frieden schenken; denn auch alles, was wir bisher erreichten, hast du selbst für uns getan.13HERR, unser Gott, andere Herren haben über uns geherrscht, doch du bist der Einzige, den wir rühmen! (Ne 9:36)14Ihre Toten werden nicht wieder leben, die Schatten stehen nie wieder auf. Sie, die früher über uns herrschten, hast du bestraft und ausgerottet samt allem, was an sie erinnert. (Isa 26:19)15Dein Volk aber hast du groß gemacht und alle seine Grenzen ausgeweitet; so erweist du deine Macht und Hoheit.16HERR, in der Bedrängnis suchen die Deinen bei dir Hilfe; wenn du strafst, kommen sie klagend zu dir.[1] (Ho 5:15)17Wir liegen vor dir und schreien wie eine Frau, die gebären soll, wir krümmen und winden uns vor Schmerzen.18Wir liegen in Wehen wie eine Frau, doch was wir gebären, ist nichts als Wind. Befreiung können wir dem Land nicht bringen und der Erde keine neue Hoffnung geben.19HERR, deine Toten werden wieder leben, die Leichen meines Volkes werden auferstehen! Ihr alle, die ihr in der Erde liegt, wacht auf und jubelt vor Freude! Du, HERR, bist wie der belebende Tau; darum gibt die Erde die Toten heraus. (Eze 37:1; Da 12:2; Mr 12:26; Ro 14:8)
Das Strafgericht über Erde und Meer
20Ihr Leute meines Volkes, geht in eure Häuser und schließt die Türen hinter euch zu! Haltet euch für kurze Zeit verborgen, bis das Strafgericht vorüber ist!21Der HERR tritt schon aus seiner Wohnung hervor, um die Bewohner der Erde für ihre Vergehen zu bestrafen. Die Erde deckt das Blut wieder auf, das sie getrunken hat, sie verbirgt die Ermordeten nicht länger. (Job 16:18; Mic 1:2)
